  9. 1) Salesforce Hqs in San Fran is interested in TrapWire after I briefed
  10. them on their wonderful capabilities; referred to Patrick for follow up.

  12. 2) DHS Institute is very interested in a terrorist surveillance
  13. methodology paper and is looking to fund the project. They are big fans
  14. of our tactical work. Patrick has a good strategy on how to make this
  15. happen.

  17. 3) I think the timing is right to revisit our relationship w/GOOGLE and
  18. sense growing frustration (and chaos) on their part in light of the
  19. Chinese penetrations and intellectual property theft. I've been playing
  20. constant phone tag w/their security director, who I believe is traveling.

  25. New U.S. terror alerts caused a stir this week, along with terror
  26. violence in Pakistan. We collected good information on all of these
  27. attacks and continue to probe into the Dubai killing of the senior Hamas
  28. official.

  33. 1) We received a vile and threatening message posted on YouTube directed
  34. towards Rodger and his family in response to a video Rodger did.
  35. Efforts to locate the suspect are underway.

  37. 2) (CONFIDENTIAL) One of our female staff has been physically abused by
  38. a former boyfriend and the suspect won't leave her alone. It's a
  39. delicate issue and we need to protect her privacy. This is an example
  40. of how things like this could spill over into the workplace, if the
  41. suspect decides to hunt her down here.

  43. Note - Over the years, I've had quite a few folks come to me in
  44. confidence w/various personal problems or issues that require police
  45. help and security advice. I've always tried to do my best to protect
  46. their desire for privacy to eliminate the internal gossip and rumors.
