Fire snake!
 
        So I was got invited to this party Reginald was throwing where he invited a lot of people. Things were going swimmingly and I was talking to this girl named Starch for awhile after playing a game of home made Twister; I swear Twister gets you all the bitches. After I finished up my little flirt session I smelled some heavy smoke going through the air. I turned around and saw that the smoke was coming from the woods and not the small bonfire that we set up earlier. I sprang from my seat to see what it was and in the process I saw Tide going to, so I linked up with him.
 
        After a small walk we came to the first part of the singed woods. It was hot and the black smoke in my face made me sweaty and I felt dirty, luckily for me their was a small stream nearby and I bathed and rolled around in it and felt fine afterwards. We went deeper in and the glow of fire started to grow stronger and stronger as burnt and smoldering tree limbs fell around us. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw what was making the fire. This creature looked almost looks like a pony but it was on fire and it's back legs were gone and only made out of flames. It reminded me more of a snake then a pony and when I told the others they looked at me like I was crazy.
 
        I automatically assumed the the people I was with wanted to kill it but before I fight something I always want to make sure it's sentient and not some mindless beast. I hate having to kill something when I don't have to; sadly this flame creature didn't respond to my clear calls and went about burning the woods.
 
        I stood in the water since it was cooler then everything else, and to my amazement the beast approached the water and after flicking it's serpent tongue out plumed into a cloud of steam from the minor contact with the water. The water didn't seem to hurt the fire snake and it looked more confused by the water. The water was acting simply as a blocker preventing it from moving but it quickly solved it's problem when it fell a tree and crossed. I managed to get out of the water but the tree still bumped me when I was getting out and it burned part of my fur of; so now I have a fucking bald spot on my side.
 
        As it passed by I noticed some orb floating in its chest that reminded me of Charade of Soul Caliber. George was snoring in my bag remarkably unaware of the thrashing and water doused flames dancing around us. He had idea what the hell the fire snake was but, he said that it was a newborn but it possessed too much power. The only thing he said that it could be after was a very hot spot in town and I thought of the smithy; it was not like I could do anything to a flaming snake so I left to warn the town of the threat.
 
        I warned the guards who crowded around the camp grounds after seeing the fire and had them tell the pegasus to prepare clouds to put out the flames. Some lines started to form on the ground in a orange yellow light and pulsed slightly as the air grew hot and tense. George said something about a leyline but they faded when the fire snake fled but I did get a good look at the lines. Most of them appeared ordered in a strange mystical way  from the point near the town. One of the lines was thicker and throbbed intensely as it followed the same trail as the snake pony. The camp grounds feel extremely tense, almost as if a fight were about to break out.

A walk in the burnt woods.
 
        The fire snake got me extremely curious about it's origin and where it could have come from so I got my supplies ready and set my affairs straight before I set off. Curious came with me as well and she was great company and had me laughing most of the time. We did find some more of the small fire flowers along the burnt trail and Curious had me laughing when she tried them for the first time and scorched her mouth with the spice.

Found a desert!
       
Curious and I found a desert after a couple days of walking around following the scorched trail made by the fire snake thing.

        Surprise surprise Curious and I discovered some others looking for the fire snake as well. The people who we found were Tide, Hoof, Aurora and Cobweb, they came out looking for the fire snake as well. They seemed happy to see us except for Tide who was frowning quite a deal but I shrugged it off and lead them into the desert with Curious. The desert is really nice, I like the heat but feels even better now that I'm a zebra.
 
        Tide seemed to see something in the distance, and after awhile of walking in the delightful sun we came upon the visage of a house with a tower and a well to the side of it. We went to it since it was the only source of shelter from the heat but when we actually saw it I noticed that the doors were all scratched up and that the tower had a broken base with only two of its four legs holding it up.
 
        We stayed in the house for the night and made nice accommodations but during the night we got attacked by some coyotes; the peculiar thing about these coyotes was that their eyes glowed a bright yellow and when I killed one I got struck by some magic that emanated from it's body. The door is broken now and my chest hurts like a bitch. and it has a deep mark on it, like someone spilled tar on it.
