  1. >>You have a bed
  2. >>You have a roof over your head
  3. >>You have food
  4. >>And your physical needs to survive are being adequately met
  5. >>It would seem that Celestia has smiled upon her faithful servant
  6. >>That this little trip to the hospital was yet another pre-planned 'thing' coordinated by her
  7. >>Well, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't
  8. >>Twilight hates you
  9. >>Rainbow, who was all about this whole “I got your back, Anon. No matter what” now pretends you don't exist
  10. >>Life is just that much less worth living
  11. >>You would have never imagined a pain like this in your former world
  12. >>There, you had no friends and no family
  13. >>You were a nobody. That's why Celestia picked you
  14. >>You wouldn't be missed
  15. >>At one time, you were overjoyed that you – out of the millions of humans – fit the bill for her >>experiment
  16. >>Now you hate her for it
  17.
  18. >>Several days after your admission to the Ponyville Hospice you are allowed to leave
  19. >>Granted, with a cast over your left arm and a brace on your back that restricted movement
  20. >>Turns out that you are a pretty touch bastard after all
  21. >>After the beating you received, you thought for sure you would be in there for twice as long
  22. >>You return home, which is still there, thankfully
  23. >>You have to wonder if Celestia has a hand in any of that
  24. >>Not that it matters
  25. >>You let yourself in before shutting your door
  26. >>Turning the lock
  27. >>Securing the deadbolt
  28. >>Slide the two bar locks shut
  29. >>Secure padlock
  30. >>Snap combination lock closed
  31. >>You head into your kitchen and take stock of your food situation
  32. >>It doesn't look good
  33.
  34. >>Over the course of the next several days, there is the occasional knock on your door
  35. >>You don't answer
  36. >>You just have no fucks to give anymore
  37. >>About anything
  38. >>But your food reserves are dried up
  39. >>You have precious few bits remaining
  40. >>You feel better. You discard your castes
  41. >>It is time to actually go outside
  42. >>You put in the combination to your lock
  43. >>Unlock the padlock
  44. >>Unsecure the two bar locks
  45. >>Undo the deadbolt
  46. >>Disengage the normal lock
  47. >>As you push the door open, you are bathed in the warmth of Celestia's light
  48. >>It burns like hydrofluoric acid
  49. >>Time to get this over with
  50.
  51. >>You move through the market place
  52. >>You do not look back, but you know eyes are on you
  53. >>It's been days since anyp0ny has seen you
  54. >>And, before that, you were penned up in a hospital
  55. >>There is an aura of intimidation about you
  56. >>No one gets too close
  57. >>You are sure you know why
  58. >>You stop when a mint pony, a unicorn, crosses your path
  59. >>She wears a curious smile on her features
  60. >>You take note of the harp on her flank
  61. >>“Hiya!”
  62. >>She dares to greet you
  63. >>You half smile, lift your hand in greetings
  64. Hey, th
  65. >>Suddenly, a second p0ny zips between you two
  66. >>This one was slightly more colorful, and possessed a flank icon of three wrapped candies
  67. >>“Lyra, get away from him!”
  68. >>This new one growls at you, causing you to recoil
  69. >>“BonBon...”
  70. >>“Hey, you! If you know what's good for you, you won't go near her again!”
  71. >>You hold your hands up to chest level in submission
  72. >>And watch as 'Lyra' is escorted away by this 'Bonbon'
  73. >>This day is starting smoothly
  74.
  75. >>A while later, you find yourself at a booth selling basic foodstuffs
  76. >>You can afford nothing more
  77. >>Given you know how to cook pancakes, and they are easy to make stretch out for a while with your ingredients, you start gathering those
  78. >>Present them to the booth keeper
  79. >>He looks upon you from a moral plateau
  80. >>You can tell that he is aversive towards you before he even speaks a word
  81. >>“That'll be forty bits”
  82. Outragious
  83. >>You state this flatly, not having the energy to assert yourself at a higher volume
  84. >>“Take it or leave it, pal.”
  85. >>You furrow your eyebrows
  86. Is this how you do business with everyp0ny?
  87. >>He scoffs at you
  88. >>“No, just murderers.”
  89. >>You recoil
  90. >>If he knows, how many know? Twilight has not told anyone. She's a saint.
  91. >>Dashie? Oh, God, no...
  92. >>Would Dashie do that to you?
  93. >>You put the thought out of your mind
  94. >>You were the only human in the fighting circuit
  95. >>All it would have taken is one pony, anyp0ny, to see it and then blab about it
  96. >>“You buyin'? Otherwise I got customers.”
  97. >>You snap back to reality and swipe your coin purse, leaving in a huff
  98.
  99. >>Hours later, you finally manage to get the things you need
  100. >>Sans one ingredient
  101. >>You carry your bags with you, thinking you would make a quick stop to Fluttershy's cottage
  102. >>She has been exceedingly open to you, and you know she'll let you borrow the flour that you need
  103. >>You come to the bridge leading up to the cottage, finding Fluttershy tending to her animals in the distance
  104. Hey!
  105. >>You smile and life a hand high, letting her know you're there
  106. >>She looks up, rather hastily, pupils shrinking to pinpricks
  107. >>“H...hi”
  108.
  109. >>You take a step onto the bridge
  110. I was wondering if I could borrow something
  111. >>She takes a step back towards her house
  112. ...Fluttershy?
  113. >>You take another step forward
  114. >>She takes another step back, not wanting to be within a dozen or so yards of you
  115. >>She squeaks, helplessly
  116. >>Hard to believe that just two weeks earlier she was begging you to spend the night with her
  117. Is something wrong? Fluttershy?
  118. >>“Do...don't come any closer!”
  119. >>She breaks down and shivers, shutting her eyes
  120. >>You lower your bags and take another step forward, at the height of the bridge
  121. Fluttershy! What's wr
  122. >>You suddenly find yourself tethered, the force of a tightening material knocking a breath out of you
  123. >>You almost fall before you look over your shoulder to see an apprehensive looking Applejack
  124. What?
  125. >>“You heard the lady, Anon. Not another step forward.”
  126. >>You turn to face the orange applejack, confused
  127. But, I
  128. >>“Ah think you better be heading home.”
  129. >>You have a feeling you know what this is about
  130. >>You look over your shoulder to Fluttershy
  131. >>Then back to Applejack
  132. >>She is beaming daggers at you
  133. >>She will not let you 'hurt' fluttershy
  134. What's all this about
  135. >>You less 'ask' and more 'demand' to know
  136. >>Applejack tugs you off of the bridge before dropping the rope from her jaws
  137. >>“We heard everythin', Anon. I just... I just didn't think you were that kinda p0ny.”
  138. >>Your hand tightens around your bags
  139. >>The fabric whines under the stress of your grip
  140. >>With your free hand, you throw off the lasso
  141. >>You wanted to take one last look at fluttershy, and then decide against it
  142. I'm not a p0ny
  143. >>You start for home, walking right past Applejack
  144. And don't you forget it
  145.
  146. >>That night, with a still empty stomach, you ponder your situation in the light of a single candle
  147. >>Fluttershy... oh sweet, innocent Fluttershy
  148. >>Applejack, the bucking machine with an unreasonable attraction to you, has decided that you are a threat. A THREAT.
  149. >>Twilight, the one who has been nothing but a sister to you, now sees you as an undesirable
  150. >>And then there's Rainbow Dash. Her betrayal stings the worst of all.
  151. >>Your friend
  152. >>Your bro
  153. >>You remember her words;
  154. >>“I discovered you, so I have to protect you”
  155. >>“You'll never get rid of me”
  156. >>“No matter where you go, or what you do, I will always”
  157. >>“Always”
  158. >>“have your back”
  159. >>Around town, they treat you like an alien
  160. >>But then again, you are an alien. Aren't you?
  161. >>They call you a murderer
  162. >>It's true, isn't it?
  163. >>That diamond dog knew the risks of the fighting circuit. Still, you tried so hard not to seriously hurt anyone
  164. >>It's just not the kind of guy you were
  165. >>Were
  166. >>Celestia has wrecked you
  167. >>Celestia has completely annihilated any chance that you might ever be happy again
  168. >>But then again, that was never her intention
  169. >>She just wanted you to obey her
  170. >>Be her little human
  171. >>You stand up from your seat and move across the kitchen
  172. >>Your eyes are full of tears for what you have gained and lost in such a short span
  173. >>You open a drawer
  174. >>And produce the instrument that will fix it all
  175. >>It'll fix everything!
  176. >>You laugh to yourself
  177. >>A sick, twisted chortle
  178. >>But soon it grows into a shrill rush of adrenaline
  179. >>Your insane cackling echoes through the halls of your home
  180. >>They want a monster?
  181. >>You will give them a monster
  182. >>YOU WILL SLAY ALL YOUR PASTES
