  1.         These past several days were busy.  I aided another unicorn with a broken horn in learning magic.  I gave him this advice: Imagine if there's a lake underneath you. Feel it start to come up as if sucking through a straw. Let this slowly fill your body and then begin to build pressure at the base of your horn. Concentrate on this. In another part of your mind, focus on what you want to do. Reading over the incantations will help since we're not at the insta-cast stage yet. Also project what shape you want your magic to become.
  2.
  3.         Of course just after that, I failed at changing my hair color again, trying to turn it back to red, and made it completely blue.  Oh well, those that can't do, teach.  I was getting more comfortable in my body and took this as a sign.  It was time to pick a new name.  A more pony name, as much as I vomit internally while I write this.  I searched my mind for past experiences and what would constitute my decision.  For better or ill, the navy has shaped my life over the six years I was in it, and even now, two years after.  Cherenkov radiation is given off by the fission process, emitting a blue light.  From this moment on, I would be known as Cherenkov Light.

  5.         I helped out with a scouting expedition to the north in order to help find some ore for the town as the caverns beneath us are unusable at this time.  Everything was uneventful until a crab the size of a large dog decided to attack us.  One of the farmers, a pegasus by the name of Rain Drop was able to stop it by pushing it into the river with her cart.  Not a bright idea, but it worked.  We all tried to stop it, failing horribly until Schett Poschture showed up.  One of the pegasai was able to grab the cart, but it was too heavy.  Now Schett is a unicorn that thinks he's a robot and a bit of an oddball, but we were grateful for his help.  He was able to teleport the cart and the pegasus back to shore and we continued on our way.
  6.
  7.         Our next encounter was with an angry bear that Rain was able to befriend.  Most were puzzled at this turn of events, but I was not.  In the show they were sentient, but couldn't speak, so why should this one be any different?  He pointed us in the direction of "something shiny" as well as giving us a few healing berries, so we thanked him and went on our way.  We eventually ended up near a plateau, and while we were searching, the ground caved in on Chinook.  He was allright and called for us to come down.  What I saw was the largest crystal I had ever seen.  One of the other unicorns was able to light up the cavern and we saw that it was across a lake.  Looking down, I noticed something swimming, but could not tell what it was.  I next used my magic to try and determine if it was magical.  I succeeded, but could not tell any more than that.  One of the others found a path and wanted to explore.  Reluctantly, I went along.
  8.
  9.         We next came to an area that had a strange white wall.  Looking closer we were able to determine that it was made of silk, and that's when three huge spiders attack.  It was a difficult battle, but we prevailed and found some rusted gear.  Any rumors of any type of explosions going are just that.  Rumors.  The less said, the better.  I cannot confirm nor deny that I exploded the largest spider while yelling, "BLOW IT UP!"  We filled our saddlebags with silk and looked for an exit.  Schett found a narrow passageway and we went through.  Nearing a bridge, we were attacked by some sort of flying vampire squid thing as it grabbed Schett and knocked a few out of the way.  I was able to rescue an earthie from falling with levitation, but the pegasus that fell was too far out of my reach.  Schett was able to fire his horn cover into of the beast's eyes and Chinook, a different pegasus, failed at driving it in further.  I was able to do that, while Schett made the final strike.  After recovering ourselves, he then tore open the beast's corpse, to find a bear inside.  He did the same with the bear, finding nothing.  Others were disgusted, while I facepalmed, err, hoofed, at his stupidity.
  10.
  11.         Leaving the scene quickly, we came back to the cave we started from, but now on the other side.  Rain forgot the most important rule of unknown giant magic crystals: YOU DON'T TOUCH THEM.  She was possessed by some ghost of an ancient thief and wanted to destroy us all while keeping the treasure for itself.  Needless to say, we beat the fucker down after it left her body, but while the others were celebrating, I was sure it wasn't over yet.  Just then a giant fishlike thing knocked someone else and myself into the water and started attacking.  Not to be deterred, I propelled myself through the water like a torpedo, while using my magic, and rammed that son of a bitch.  Rain delivered the final blow with a kamikaze attack that paid off.  Cue puns of dropping the bass, etc.  And the heartwarmingly sick message that the real treasure of this adventure was finding each other.
