Rapture Noir Timeline (rough)

'A Father's Tale' is not listed since it technically takes place over the entirety of Rapture Noir

'It Gets Better' is not listed as it may or may not be canon.

 

>Unknown Date:

Human Nature.

 Elizabeth and the Luteces arrive in Rapture. Elizabeth begins a project with some relation to Booker and asks the twins for their help.

 

>Late 1956:

Booker the Detective, The Lovely Angel, The Girl.

Bookers first recorded cases take place, he meets a mysterious raven haired girl, and begins a relationship with the reporter Abigail. Elizabeth decides to let Booker have a life in Rapture.

 

>Mid January 1957:

Stacked Deck, An Interlude.

Booker starts to get involved more in the securities forces work against Fontaine. Booker begins to have strange dreams.

 

>Early 1957:

Speak of Me, Hot Encounter, The Ellipsis Murders

Booker spends some more time with the girl, who he now knows as Elizabeth, and finds that she is a singer at Kashmir. Booker gets his biggest case yet, and manages to apprehend a killer. Abigail meets Elizabeth and discovers that Booker has been looking for her. She decides to go to Doctor Steinman to dye her hair black like Elizabeths.

 

>Spring 1957:

A Friend in the Drink, One Step Forward, I Live by Night, Forbidden Fruit, Both Faces.

Booker meets Rock Flannigan, a private detective working out of Pauper’s Drop and the two strike up a partnership of sorts. After learning that Booker is in a relationship with Abigail Elizabeth wavers on what to do about her feelings, she resolves to get Booker back.

Booker cheats on Abigail with Elizabeth while investigating an arson and murder case in Arcadia. Abigail realizes that Booker had gone to Arcadia without her.

 

>Mid 1957 to mid 1958

Two Steps Back, Undertow, Who We Are in the Park, Blue Eyed Woman, In Revolt, Blazer, Back Alley Business, Storm Warning, The Familiar Sting.

Booker tries to come to grips with his betrayal of Abigail, and finds it difficult to outright tell her what he’s done, or to forget Elizabeth. Abigail begins to suspect Elizabeth has a relationship with Booker and starts to get extensive surgeries to look more like her.

Elizabeth reveals to Booker that Rapture is going to go into a civil war, and she wants his help to stop it.

Abigail, masquerading as Elizabeth, meets Rock and hires him to find the real Elizabeth while Booker searches for her after she disappears.

 

>November 1958

String Theory, A Difference of Vision, A Day at the Races, ConJob, Rock and a Hard Place, A Friend in Need, Plasmid Blues.

After doing jobs for Atlas’ goons, Booker finds he doesn’t care about helping Rapture, and decides to try and find Abigail so the two of them and Elizabeth can all escape together. Booker also deals with life in Rapture as order starts to break down, and deals with the usage of plasmids. Rock finds where Elizabeth lives.

 

>December 1958

Simpler Times.

Booker takes another job that brings him back to Pauper’s Drop. He learns that someone’s been trying to keep him distracted. Elizabeth has been gone for several weeks and Booker is worried.

 

>Christmas 1958

Good Night Irene, Noel, Daydreaming, Waist Deep in the River.

Abigail confronts Elizabeth and shoots her in the head, she heads to Kashmir to try and take over Elizabeth’s life and win Booker back. Booker goes to meet Elizabeth at the resturnt and ends up discovering Abigail.

 

>Late December 1958

Intertwined, It Hurts at First, On the Rocks, Dissonance.

Booker finds Elizabeth and chases down Abigail. Abigail, Booker and Rock Flannigan are involved in a shoot out, killing Abigail and Rock and leaving Booker wounded. Elizabeth reveals that there is something strange going on with Booker, and in order to help him makes him drink the tonic the Lutece’s made.

 

>About five days before New Years 1958

White Light, All the Monsters in My Head are Me

Booker tries to deal with getting his memories back, he and Elizabeth have a falling out.
