Ch2-Pt5: Awakening

>You see a blinding light, this must be it.

>You must be dead.

>You've been from the pits of Tartarus to the peak of Mt. Zion in a week.

>You can hear a voice.

>"I think he's coming to, grab more of that sugar for him."

"uhhhhhhhhhh"

>You see those familiar purple eyes coming into focus.

"Where is Crius..."

>You can barely mutter your friend's name.

>"He's okay," says Twilight.

>You strain your eyes to see the other side of the room. You see that fragile yellow sense of relief sitting with the mighty warrior Titan.

>You look back at Twilight.

>"..what happened?"

>The Titan stands up.

>"I happened."

 

>The night the Zebra shot you, you fell to the ground.

>Your eyes were closed.

>You were out cold

>But Crius's eyes were opened.

>The Zebra was gone.

>He was in pain.

>But he was alive.

>He ran to you; you were barely breathing.

>He lifted you up and began to run.

>Just kept running

>There were lights ahead.

>Did he finally reach the end of the forest?

>Yes, he did. He can see a village in the distance.

>He runs into the dimly-lit town square and lets out a roar for help.

>Some ponies rush to see the dying human and wounded minotaur.

>"Can't you see this man needs help?" he yells.

>"Somebody help him!"

>You were rushed to the hospital.

>They were able to save you.

>Apparently a much higher dose of that poison was needed to kill a minotaur.

>You thank the Lord for this.

 

>You look back up to Twilight.

"How long I was out?

>"Only a couple of hours, and it's a good thing too. If we didn't do anything..."

>"If yer didn't do nothing then Anon would be out colder than a ice sickle in the winter."

>That familiar orange pony makes her way into the room accompanied by her Cyan friend.

>"Ain't that right sugacube?"

>"I still don't understand, Anon," Twilight remarks.

>"Celestia said you went home, what were you doing in the everfree forest?"

>The Titan groans at that name.

>"Celestia!" Twilight squeals.

>"I should send for her right away, let her know you're back."

>You work through the pain to sit yourself up again.

"Could I have the honors of informing her?"

>Twilight magics over a quill and paper.

>"Sure!"

>You smirk and begin writing down your comments to the princess while Twilight summons Spike.

 

>In Canterlot, a letter appears in a puff of green smoke.

>The Alicorn passively reads through the letter, her face growing more red with every word.

>>Dear Princess Celestia,

>>I have returned from my trials in Tartarus, my Lord has insured my safety, as expected.

>>I am accompanied by a Titan; his name is Crius.

>>During this jurney, I learned something about friendship.

>>I learned that you can always count on your friends, especially if you put them before yourself.

>>Now that I have returned, I will continue my mission assigned to me by God.

>>Crius and I are looking forward to meeting with you on your next trip towards Ponyville.

>>Sincerely,

>>Anonymous.

>The princess is almost fuming at this point.

>She quickly magics herself a scroll and begins jotting down a new note.

>Back at the Hospital, Spike belches out a new letter.

>Twilight eagerly magics it over and begins reading it to you all.

>>Dear Anonymous,

>>I will be coming to Ponyville tomorrow to personally congratulate you.

>>Sincerely,

>>Princess Celestia.
