  1. >It takes some time, but your army passes the mountains.
  2. >The Titans efficiently slay any demon, imp, or apparition that appears between you and your goal.
  3. >They are a waring race, and even after thousands of years, they seem in their prime.
  4. >They are in their element.
  5. >But you are a man of God.
  6. >Your element is a church.
  7. >Back on Earth, you opposed the wars.
  8. >You condemned the crusades.
  9. >You rebuked the armies.
  10. >Now you're part of an army.
  11. >The pain you had is almost gone.
  12. >You prayed and the Lord healed you.
  13. >He is even with you in Hell.
  14. >"The bronze gates, they are ahead!"
  15. >You look up towards the wall.
  16. >In the midst of the apparitions, you see it.
  17. >A three-headed beast guarding your exit.
  18. >Its tail is that of a serpent. It wisps and hisses to nearby entities.
  19. >The three heads appear as a dog. The teeth are that of razors.
  20. >As it barks and snarls, the drool seeps down its mouth and pools in what looks like a thousand-year's worth accumulation.
  21. >The Titans cease their advance, as do you.
  22.
  23. >Crius turns to his men and begins to speak.
  24. >"Standing before us, is our greatest task at hand."
  25. >He extends his arm towards Cerberus.
  26. >"This monster can stamp us out in a single pounce, we must ready ourselves!"
  27. >You are lost to Crius's monolog -- attention is focused on that beast.
  28. >You are honest with yourself; you feel fear.
  29. >You're terrified.
  30. >But you have no choice.
  31. >Redemption must be brought to Equestria.
  32. >Your mission, you must complete.
  33. >You close your eyes and pray for strength, "Lord, this sword is heavy and this armor is damaged. For me to preach your will, I must escape this place. Please give me the strength to go on..."
  34.
  35. >Your prayer is interrupted as the Titans roar with a battle cry.
  36. >This gets the attention of Cerberus.
  37. >The beast remains on its mount, above the gate, held firm.
  38. >With all of your strength, you lift your sword. You feel a small voice inside of you, as if instructions were being relayed to your mind.
  39. >You drop your shield and disarm your armor. Crius quickly turns to you.
  40. >"Anon, you must understand..."
  41. "This armor is too heavy, Crius."
  42. >You unbuckle your chainmail as you continue.
  43. "There was once a man named David, who was going to a great battle like this one."
  44. >You drop your helmet.
  45. "He defeated the giant Goliath with only a sling and a stone; that's all he needed with the Lord on his side."
  46. >You remember that story well. King Saul tried to dress David up with the royal armor as well.
  47. >David turned it down.
  48. >As will you.
  49. >The Titans look uneasy, but Crius smiles.
  50. >He trusts you.
  51. >"FOR ANON AND HIS GOD, LET US FIGHT!"
  52. >The Titans raise their weapons and charge Cerberus.
  53. >You run with them, holding your sword high in hand.

  56. >You rush with the army of Titans, slaying every apparition between you and that beast.
  57. >You feel strong.
  58. >You feel agile.
  59. >But you're still not a fighting man.
  60. >Yet you fight.
  61. >"The army of the undead, they rise!"
  62. >A titan falls to the ground with a thud.
  63. >You look up to see hundreds of beings. Are they being summoned by Cerberus?
  64. >They come from the ground and begin marching towards you.
  65. >"Anon, do not get too close, even a touch can drain away your being!" yells another Titan.
  66. >You pray a blessing over your sword and rush with the rest.
  67. >Every demon your sword comes in contact with drops at the displeasure of Cerberus.
  68. >The mighty Titans cut through the undead army, but not without casualties.
  69. >Your men are reduced by over half.
  70. >Yet the rest stand strong.
  71. >Cerberus lets out a piercing roar.
  72. >You cover your ears in pain. They begin to bleed.
  73. >The creature dismounts.
