- >You awaken.
- >Are you in hell?
- >It's cold.
- >But why would it be hot?
- >Hell is described as torment, the gnashing of teeth...
- >Hell is not hot.
- >You stand yourself up and look across the landscape.
- >You see nothing.
- >You hear groans in the distance.
- >You feel a heaviness.
- >But your Lord has not abandon you.
- >You follow the groans.
- >The landscape begins to clarify as the groans grow louder.
- >Giants walk among you.
- >Waving their staves, they talk amongst themselves.
- >These tormented creatures, they seem to ignore you.
- >Surely they must have sinned if they have been condemned here.
- >But you have been condemned.
- >Does that mean you've sinned?
- >Only against Celestia, of course.
- >Are they Celestia's enemies?
- >Would that make them your allies?
- >...one is looking at you...
- >...now he's pointing to you.
- >"Titans, we have a guest!"
- >The rest quickly turn to face you.
- >You look up at these beasts, and attempt to communicate, but your words escape you.
- >"Don't scare the poor creature, he looks shaken up as it is."
- >The one kneels down to your level.
- >"Tell me boy, what have you done to deserve this torment?"
- >You hesitantly answer them.
- "All I have done, was preach the will of God."
- >You tilt your head down.
- "Celestia did not appreciate that..."
- They all begin laughing.
- >"Celestia still lives!" one blurts.
- >"You must have rustled her jimmies pretty hard for her to end you here." shouted another.
- >The original begins to speak up again.
- >"I hope you enjoy Tartarus, young one. An eternity here is a difficult existence"
- "An eternity here is unacceptable."
- >They all stop laughing to stare at you.
- "I must return to Equestria, my work there is not finished."
- >These "Titans," they tell you a story of a war.
- >These beasts versus the gods.
- >Well, two goddesses.
- >They were condemned to live out their days in this shattered world.
- >The lowest point in the universe.
- >"There is one way to leave this place, but the gate is guarded by the mighty Cerberus!"
- >The titans are sure to note the impossibility of defeating such a beast.
- >But you would have to try...
- >You grasp your cross necklace. It's the only possession, aside from your bible, that made it into this world with you.
- "Where are these gates?"
- >The first Titan, still kneeling, sighs and looks to the west.
- >"They are behind the mountains of the Fire Spirits."
- "Spirits, aye?"
- >"Most creatures in this world will not hesitate to kill you. Us Titans are the exceptions."
- >One walk over with some sort of weapon, wait, two weapons.
- >It seems like a longsword and a shield.
- >"You will also need this."
- >One removes his helmet and armor, he hands it to you.
- >You equip your new chainmail, shield and sword. You're almost happy with it, but it's missing something.
- >You quickly spit in the mud, and take some clay. You rub the clay along your cloth and shield, in the symbol of a cross.
- >Now you may fight under the name of God.
- >It seems there is no day or night in this world.
- >Yet you're growing tired.
- >Those mountains look hours away, could you make it all this way?
- >And something doesn't sit well with you.
- "I must ask you a question, Titan."
- >The original Titan looks to you.
- "Why are you giving me these weapons?"
- >The Titan sighs.
- >"We have been roaming the plains of this hell for thousands of years, condemned by Celestia herself."
- >He pounds his fist against a rocky structure.
- >"If you are in rebellion against that goddess, you have our full support..."
- >"...Even if your life ends at Cerberus." another Titan scuffed.
- >You rest on your new sword; it's difficult to lift, and this armor is heavy.
- >You are not a fighter, you are a man of God.
- >But you must fight in his name.
- >For Equestria.
- "Then I thank you for your gifts."
- >You turn towards the hellish mountains.
- >You begin walking.
- >"...Wait!"
- >The first Titan walks over to you.
- >"We never got your name."
- >As you continue walking, you blurt the only alias you've ever known.
- "Call me Anonymous."
