  1. >You awaken.
  2. >Are you in hell?
  3. >It's cold.
  4. >But why would it be hot?
  5. >Hell is described as torment, the gnashing of teeth...
  6. >Hell is not hot.
  7. >You stand yourself up and look across the landscape.
  8. >You see nothing.
  9. >You hear groans in the distance.
  10. >You feel a heaviness.
  11. >But your Lord has not abandon you.
  12. >You follow the groans.
  13.
  14. >The landscape begins to clarify as the groans grow louder.
  15. >Giants walk among you.
  16. >Waving their staves, they talk amongst themselves.
  17. >These tormented creatures, they seem to ignore you.
  18. >Surely they must have sinned if they have been condemned here.
  19. >But you have been condemned.
  20. >Does that mean you've sinned?
  21. >Only against Celestia, of course.
  22. >Are they Celestia's enemies?
  23. >Would that make them your allies?
  24. >...one is looking at you...
  25. >...now he's pointing to you.
  26. >"Titans, we have a guest!"
  27. >The rest quickly turn to face you.
  28.
  29. >You look up at these beasts, and attempt to communicate, but your words escape you.
  30. >"Don't scare the poor creature, he looks shaken up as it is."
  31. >The one kneels down to your level.
  32. >"Tell me boy, what have you done to deserve this torment?"
  33. >You hesitantly answer them.
  34. "All I have done, was preach the will of God."
  35. >You tilt your head down.
  36. "Celestia did not appreciate that..."
  37. They all begin laughing.
  38. >"Celestia still lives!" one blurts.
  39. >"You must have rustled her jimmies pretty hard for her to end you here." shouted another.
  40. >The original begins to speak up again.
  41. >"I hope you enjoy Tartarus, young one. An eternity here is a difficult existence"
  42. "An eternity here is unacceptable."
  43. >They all stop laughing to stare at you.
  44. "I must return to Equestria, my work there is not finished."
  45.
  46. >These "Titans," they tell you a story of a war.
  47. >These beasts versus the gods.
  48. >Well, two goddesses.
  49. >They were condemned to live out their days in this shattered world.
  50. >The lowest point in the universe.
  51. >"There is one way to leave this place, but the gate is guarded by the mighty Cerberus!"
  52. >The titans are sure to note the impossibility of defeating such a beast.
  53. >But you would have to try...
  54. >You grasp your cross necklace. It's the only possession, aside from your bible, that made it into this world with you.
  55. "Where are these gates?"
  56. >The first Titan, still kneeling, sighs and looks to the west.
  57. >"They are behind the mountains of the Fire Spirits."
  58. "Spirits, aye?"
  59. >"Most creatures in this world will not hesitate to kill you. Us Titans are the exceptions."
  60.
  61. >One walk over with some sort of weapon, wait, two weapons.
  62. >It seems like a longsword and a shield.
  63. >"You will also need this."
  64. >One removes his helmet and armor, he hands it to you.
  65. >You equip your new chainmail, shield and sword. You're almost happy with it, but it's missing something.
  66. >You quickly spit in the mud, and take some clay. You rub the clay along your cloth and shield, in the symbol of a cross.
  67. >Now you may fight under the name of God.
  68.
  69. >It seems there is no day or night in this world.
  70. >Yet you're growing tired.
  71. >Those mountains look hours away, could you make it all this way?
  72. >And something doesn't sit well with you.
  73. "I must ask you a question, Titan."
  74. >The original Titan looks to you.
  75. "Why are you giving me these weapons?"
  76. >The Titan sighs.
  77. >"We have been roaming the plains of this hell for thousands of years, condemned by Celestia herself."
  78. >He pounds his fist against a rocky structure.
  79. >"If you are in rebellion against that goddess, you have our full support..."
  80. >"...Even if your life ends at Cerberus." another Titan scuffed.
  81. >You rest on your new sword; it's difficult to lift, and this armor is heavy.
  82. >You are not a fighter, you are a man of God.
  83. >But you must fight in his name.
  84. >For Equestria.
  85. "Then I thank you for your gifts."
  86. >You turn towards the hellish mountains.
  87. >You begin walking.
  88. >"...Wait!"
  89. >The first Titan walks over to you.
  90. >"We never got your name."
  91. >As you continue walking, you blurt the only alias you've ever known.
  92. "Call me Anonymous."
