I felt really warm. Breathing kinda hurt. Is it... raining again? But it's so sunny. No wait. That's a lightbulb? So... how-   "nnn nnnn thnn... nnn nnnn thnnn"    I felt her arms tighten around me. I could hear her words more clearly. And her heartbeat pounding.   "Not like this... please breathe... please. I can't do this without you."   I coughed and put my hoof on her chin.   She gasped and looked down at me. Sis was worried about me, like I was worried about her. It made me smile again... until she hugged me even tighter.   "... Crap dude." Sis was making a lot of tears... it felt weird, but I knew she was just happy. I was too.   "I thought I lost you... I'm really sorry for all this. We're going home."   "Not so fast, sweetheart."   I looked up to see the colt standing up and dusting himself off, in front of a huge crater in the wall.   "You forgot to top me off." He said while cracking his back and grinning.   Sis started growling. "Oh, I'll top you off alright!" She let me go and charged at him. She yelled while leaping over a table to punch him!   She was stopped by the red magic again... frozen in the air.   He looked down and burst out laughing. Sister was steaming mad, I could tell.   "Now that I have your attention, I think I'll just take what I want." He walked up to sister, closed his eyes, and leaned in.   He's gonna... no. Sis would never... gross! I covered my eyes.   I could hear sis's growl getting louder. Then, I heard a crack and a loud crash. Peeking from my hooves, I saw sis punching on him harder than ever before. It made me think about red... I didn't want to see red. I ran over to sis and screamed as loud as I could, tears running down my face.   She stopped before throwing another punch, pushing me aside. "If you ever hurt my sis again I won't stop until you're pulp beneath my hooves, got it?"   He didn't say anything.   "Oh yeah... I might've knocked him out." She shrugged and looked at me. "Oh well. Serves him right. Let's get outta here."   She scooped me up onto her back and grabbed the sack of bits off the counter, walking to the door so we could leave. I looked back at the colt's body. His head shot up. He tilted his head while his eyes glowed red. I heard his voice in my head.   "Don't look down, kid."   ...What?   What does that even mean? I looked down as sis carried us through the doors. I should have listened to him...   We stepped out of the bar... onto darkness. There was nothing below us. When I looked up, there was nothing around us either. The bar was gone, the sidewalk was gone, and-   Sis? Sis Fuse?   She... she disappeared. I was by myself. I was about to cry again, but before I could, I started falling. Screaming.   My tears floated up with each other, but I fell. Alone. Into the dark.   While I screamed, I opened my eyes and saw a light. It was getting bigger. Seeing the light made me less scared... it made me smile, like sis made me smile. I was happy to get out of the dark. I was smiling until I saw the white turn gray.   Hot steam hissed and hit me, making me scream again, but the steam screamed louder than I could.   A voice came to my head again...   "Don't look down... don't look down... dnnn lk dnnn..."   "Dnnn wk ppp... Dude wake up! Holy crap, we're gonna be late!"   I woke up to sis shouting at me and rushing around the room. I was sweating really badly. The shower was still going in the bathroom, I could see the steam... the steam. I closed my eyes and started to shiver.   "Hey!"   I opened my eyes and saw that I was holding onto sis's leg.   "The heck's gotten into you? Don't tell me you've gone chicken on me."   I shake my head and point to the bathroom.   "Yeah? I have the shower going for you! Hurry up and get in so we can get going!" She shakes me off her leg and starts pushing me to the bathroom. I shake my head and run behind her.   She looks confused, but I don't know what to tell her...   "Ugh... whatever. If you think your stench is gonna win you games, be my guest. It's probably what Owl Eyes does. That smelly sack of... Where is she anyway? I told her to meet me here before the match starts. Dammit, I don't have time for this." She goes into the bathroom and shuts off the water.   "Grab your helmet and let's go. You play against that one dude... fagtic or something like that. You got this."   I've heard of my opponent... I'm not afraid of him. I grabbed my helmet and put on my suit. Breathing into my hoof, I sniffed. It didn't smell too bad, but I took a mint anyway.   Looking into the mirror, I normally saw a fighter, ready to do what I have to. But now I saw something else... I saw fear. I'm not afraid of my opponent. Why am I-   "DC! Come on dude, we're running behind schedule! I still have to punch Beat in the throat for betting against me! That moron."   I stepped away from the closet and adjusted my suit. My wings felt uncomfortable in it this time around. Like I wanted to use them. It felt weird. I shook it off and headed to the door.   "Crap, forgot something."   ... 10 bits says it's-   "Forgot my necklace."   Yep. Right on time. She never left without that.   "Now c'mon, don't wanna get DQ'd, do ya?"   I opened my mouth to say something... don't know why.   "Course not, come on!" She pulled me up onto her back and started galloping toward the stadium.   I looked ahead as we made it into town. Looking up, I saw the stadium get closer and closer. But... I didn't dare look down.   Don't look down... don't look down...     Don't look down... at what?
