1. Abnormal Norman 6: Inspired by Bread
2. ___________________________________
3.
4. Be Norman
5. >It's been 20 minutes after Rainbro's workout, and your body is in complete agony
6. >You have yet to wear your ring since yesterday, keeping it safe in your pocket
7. >The question looms over your head as you sit on a bench
8. >What's my Kryptonite?
9. >You thought of everything that seems uncanny to a normal person. So far, you have yet to use the toilet for a day, your eyesight seems to blur at a distance and you seem to feel pain moreso than usual
10. >You check the bullet wound under your shirt, covered by the bandage. You see the blood has already dried
11. >Suddenly the bandage turns wet, red underneath is spilling through
12. >what the hell?
13. >You check underneath and you see blood pouring through the wound
14. >Your stomach feels like a corpse' flesh; it's tearing through like paper
15. >Bloodloss at 6%, you feel woozy
16. >About to collapse...crap
17. >Your body falls to the ground as Rainbro the gang looks on you with shock
18. >Blood slowly fills the ground as you lose consciousness
19.
20. Be Lyra
21. >It's been 2 hours after you parted with Norman's ring, and so far, no visions have come to haunt you
22. >"Maybe it stopped?" you wonder to yourself
23. >Either way, you made the most of your time by studying and helping out with the chores
24. >Right now, you're toying with your harp-bow. Polishing it and cleaning it
25. >You go outside to the garage and put out a piece of cardboard by the side
26. >Raising the bow, you ready your arrow, as well as your position as you target the cardboard with sheer concentration
27. >You stop for a moment, wondering if you could use your time-stopping powers with your bow
28. >Again, you ready your weapon, aiming at the cardboard
29. >After a few seconds, you let go of the bow string and started your power
30. >The arrow floated in midair as you look around the garage
31. >In your one minute of freedom, you topple over several tools from the shelves, as well as admiring the arrow
32. >You thought to yourself over the fact that you could commit sodoku with your harp, or swap a person facing the mouth of death
33. >60 seconds have passed and you look upon the arrow hitting the cardboard. A perfect shot
34. >"Just a little more practice and I'll be able to get this...ARGH!"
35. >Another vision, no doubt. You kneel in pain as you hold your ears with your hands
36. >The quietness of the garage made it easier for you to concentrate on the vision
37. >Alas, you look around as a ghost of a location familiar to you
38. >An alleyway, with a door. You pan torwards it to reveal a masked hobo and some guy with a cape and his undies out battling it out with what seems to be a gang
39. >The vision ends abruptly as your mother calls you for dinner
40. >You knew that the two guys in the vision were Norman and Brad, but you just didn't know when it would happen
41. >You came inside, shaking and shivering
42. >"Honey, what's wrong?"
43.
44. Be Purple
45. >After carrying your poor friend Norman to the school infirmary, you see Rainbro, trying to calm Rarity down
46. >"I-is he going to be alright?" Said Flutters, concerned for their dear friend
47. >"I don't know, but I'm sure he will" you said back, comforting your friend
48. >Nurse Redheart comes out, bearing bad news
49. >"I'm afraid your friend will have to be transferred to a regular hospital. His skin can't handle his own body!"
50. >"...also, your friend seems a bit...malnourished"
51. >You and the gang peek through the door, seeing Norman almost skin and bones. He's thinner than a snake.
52. >They all went quiet, then Rarity proceeded to blame Rainbro for Norman's predicament
53. >"IF YOU HADN'T PUSHED HIM TOO FAR,"she yelled
54. >"Oh this is terrible" Flutters commented on the situation
55. >You look upon your notes, patiently flipping through the pages
56. >Then you look at Norman, and noticed something missing
57. >"I think I know the problem
58. >"No, Twilight. We talked about this. You can't use the power of friendship or something like that" Rainbro told you
59. >"No, not that" you whispered
60. >You show her your notes, explaining that the ring doubles his normal abilities, but doubles his normal weaknesses as well
61. >"The longer he is away from the ring, the greater he degenerates!"
62. >"So he's CURSED?"
63. >You swallow spit, telling her "In theory...yes"
64. >Seeing Rarity preoccupied with Nurse Redheart, you sneak in the infirmary
65. >You see Norman, looking like a corpse
66. >Looking disgusted, you calm yourself and proceeded to find his ring
67. >You found it in his pocket and calmly lifted his arm
68. >You could hear it crack like it was stiff and bloodless
69. >Carefully, you insert the ring by his finger, and now you wait
70. >Slowly but surely, his bony appearance disappears as blood begins to flow through  through again.
71. >You look by his stomach to see the wound slowly healing on its own
72. >"Amazing" you said to yourself while writing the results down
73. >Few seconds pass and Norman screams
74. >"GRAAAAAAAAH"
75. >Norman has fully healed himself thanks to the ring
76. >You proceeded to hug him
77. >"NORMAN! YOU'RE ALIVE"
78. >Norman grasped for air, saying "If I had a penny for everytime someone said that whenever I wake up"
79. >The girls went in the room when they heard  the scream
80. >"NORMAN!" they yell in good faith
81. >Norman coughed, saying "I have seen the other side *cough*
it can wait a bit longer
82. >Everyone shared a hearty laugh
83. >"Purple, what did you do? Don't tell me you went...down on him" Nurse Redheart tells you
84. >You just looked at her with a dumb smile, not realizing what she meant
85. >"Well, this all seems a bit odd too. One minute ago you were a corpse, the next you look like Hugh Jackman"
86. >Norman smiles and puts on his clothes saying "Well, I'm glad you guys helped me out
87. >You grab Norman's hand and pulled him out of the crowd, telling him that he needs to know something
88. >"W-wait! He still needs to sign these forms" the good nurse yells out
89. >You pay no mind to her and rushed Norman outside the school doors
90. >You show the compiled notes to Norman, smothering his face with paper
91. >"Purple, what is all this?"he asked
92. >"THEORIES!"you answered back
93. >"Norman, I think you're cursed by the ring. While it does double your normal powers, it doubles your degeneration without it!"
94. >"So I do have a kryptonite!"
95. >"Listen, I think you need to stop considering being a superhero vigilante. If you lose the ring, you lose your life"
96. >Norman looks at you, seemingly depressed with the news.
97. >"Alright, I'll stop. I don't know how Brad would react to the news"
98. >The gang follows through the door, asking why you pulled Norman out in a hurry
99. >"It's something personal" Norman told Rarity
100. >Rarity looks at you, and then Norman
101. >"So you was actually attacked by Twilight's family?"
102. >You look at Norman with confusion, to which he responds
103. >"Nah, it's something about something...it's a long story"
104. >"Alright, I think our little Normy needs his rest" Rainbow says while handing his bag over to Norman
105. >He bids his goodbyes, as he heads off.
106.
107. Be Norman
108. >You feel your stomach as you walk home, noticing the wound had healed in an instant
109. >Whoa, I feel like James Howlett after the weapon x program
110. >The feeling slowly fades away as you feel normal by the seconds. You look at your arms, complimenting the power the ring gives you
111. >Then you look at the ring, saying "This thing's like a trigger to my heart"
112. >You swore an promise to Purple, no more fighting
113. >You couldn't be more glad yourself.
114. >This was all Brad's idea anyway
115. >Yet, you couldn't shake the feel of what you felt during your first bust
116. >Free running through the rooftops in a costume, saving people from thugs who use brute force to get what they want
117. >You shake your head, saying that it's "too dangerous, I shouldn't."
118.
119. Be Brad
120. >At home checking info on the internet
121. >Unsolved crimes on the net, ranging from street gangs bullying the homeless to missing persons report
122. >Take a sip off your soda, you scroll down, one crime after another
123. >Wow, the nearest one to your neighborhood
124. >"The East-Side Lemons" have been bullying restaurants and homeless people, mostly because of "Protection"
125. >No one knows their hideout, but the reports have confirmed it's somewhere inside the city
126. >You spin your chair around, calling Norman from your phone, while looking at his new costume, hanging by the door
127.
128. Be Norman
129. >As you walk by an alleyway, you see some guy beating up a hobo
130. >Two of them, to be more precise. The other is cheering on his pal
131. >"AWW, YOU GONNA CRY CUS' YOUR BREAD FELL OFF"
132. >You try to ignore the situation, but you feel guilty as every second the hobo recieves a kick
133. >"Goddammit, Norman. You promised Purple" you argued with yourself
134. >Norman closes his eyes, but to no avail. The whimper of the hobo's cries penetrated through Norman's ears
135. >You can't leave this guy alone, knowing that you had the power to beat them up
136. >3 seconds in. You've made your decision
137. >"HEY! LEAVE THAT GUY ALONE" you yell
138. >The two guys looks in your direction. You stand your ground
139. >They smirk, walking torwards you
140. >"OR WHAT, FOOL?"
141. >You deny spaghetti entry to your pockets. You clench your fists as the homeless guy looks in awe
142. >"YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE US, FOOL?"
143. >You look upon the surroundings. A trash can beside you, some scattered trash by the alley
144. >Taking advantage, you take the trash lid and smashed it at the thug's face
145. >His face flips as a tooth comes out
146. >Second guy manages to punch you in the jaw, and you stumble to the ground of the alley
147. >A 2x4 board under you, you grab it and swung it across the thug's face
148. >First thug comes to his senses and grabs the trash can
149. >You ready your fist, charging up using the ring
150. |FALCON PUNCH|
151. >You smash your fist through the trash bin, hitting the thug carrying it in the guts
152. >The ring lights up, blinking as your heart rate increases
153. >"LOOK OUT" yells the hobo
154. >Second guy just doesn't give up. He grabs your head and smashes  it to the brick wall
155. >Tis  but a scratch
156. >You grab his wrist and smother it with your fingers
157. >He yells in pain as you twist it over, and proceeded to kick him torwards the wall
158. >Two lie unconscious, one on the other side of the street and the other near you
159. >"wow" the hobo says
160. >"T-thanks man *cough*"
161. >You gasped for air, replying "You're welcome" to the hobo
162. >"You a kickboxer, man?"
163. >"No...just some kid with balls"you reply proudly.
164. >You walk out of the alley, feeling gud
165. >You also learn that the ring triples your normal abilities whenever you're in hype mode
166. >In theory of course
167. >You look at the moonlight, admiring the night and your good deed
168. >You look at your phone, and realize Brad's been trying to call you 7 times
169. >I think it can wait in the morning
170. >You walk in the pale moonlight to your home, knowing that you're stuck with a curse, and a gift
171. END OF CHAPTER 6
