  1. Abnormal Norman 5: A Primary End
  2. Be Norman
  3. >Last you remember, you passed out in a convenience store
  4. >Beating thugs and almost getting killed, your body hurts like hell
  5. >Wait a minute, where am I?
  6. >Darkness before you, your vision is black
  7. >Am I in a jail cell?
  8. >You feel the thing you're lying down on. It's soft, like a mattress
  9. >Hearing voices around you. It sounds so familiar
  10. >"He's waking up!"
  11. >I lift my eyes from the glorious slumber. My body hurts from the bruises and wounds
  12. >The blurr from my eyes leave after a few seconds, and I see a girl in white hair
  13. >"Am I dead?...Am I in heaven?"
  14. >The girl pans out, almost blushing
  15. >"NORMAN! YOU'RE ALIVE!" yelled Brad
  16. >Damn, still in purgatorial hell
  17. >"Where am I, Brad?"
  18. >"We're in the Heartstrings residence!" Lyra's mom fixed you up really good
  19. >"H-here. Have some bread"
  20. >I grab a bite of Lyra's offered bread and proceeded to admire her house in respect
  21. >"Her mom patched you up while you were unconscious. She was really thankful for us for trying to stop the robbers!"
  22. >I look down on my body. It was wrapped in bandages. I touched my stomach to feel the bullet hole
  23. >"I see you're awake, Norman!" Lyra's mother said
  24. >"Y-yeah. Thanks for patching me and...Commander Underwear here"
  25. >"It was no problem, boys, though I have to ask; What were you guys thinking?"
  26. >Understanding the concern, we told her that we just tried to become superheroes, like the comics
  27. >As you tell her about the costume, you noticed neither of your hands had the ring worn
  28. >"Oh god, the RING!" I blurt out
  29. >"Oh that? It's with Lyra" Brad reassured me
  30. >I look from the back of the couch to see her sitting in the dining room, comparing my ring to her locket
  31. >"Is she okay?" Brad asks her mother
  32. >"The past few weeks have been very...weird for her" she said as she showed us a broken piece of rock
  33. >It looked familiar. I took the rock and pocketed it to examine it later
  34. >She examines the ring, side by side with her locket
  35. >"It's the same" she mumbles to herself
  36. >"What is?" I asked her
  37. >"She stands up and proceeds to show the two items on her hands
  38. >"It's the same material! Where did you get this, Norman?"
  39. >"It's my...grandfathers"
  40. >She proceeds to mumble again to herself
  41. >I asked her in return "Where did you get the locket?"
  42. >"I...uhh...found it"
  43. >"Where?"
  44. >"I don't think we should interrogate the daughter of our doctor" Brad whispered to me
  45. >I quietly nodded to the idea
  46. >"Listen, Mrs. Heartstrings, thanks for taking care of us"
  47. >"Can I have the ring back now?"
  48. >Lyra held on to the ring, saying "Can't I hold on to this...for a day?"
  49. >"I feel...normal whenever I get close to you...I mean your ring"
  50. >After thinking about it, you decided to let her have the ring for a day.
  51. >Her mom did rescue you from possible jail time. I have to question her and her locket tommorow
  52. >"I'll drop you boys home" her mother insisted.
  53. >We both politely agreed, and then we were off.
  54.
  55. The very next day
  56. >YOU DID WHAT?!?
  57. >"Calm down, Rainbro, it's alright"
  58. >"ARE YOU CRAZY? YOU COULD HAVE DIED"
  59. >"Yeah, well Brad was there to pick up the pieces"
  60. >"I can't believe you ditched daily practice to go on a beta test! What the hell?"
  61. >"Look, it's done. I won't ditch your afterschool practice anymore. It hurts alot less than in real life"
  62. >Flutters came to calm Rainbro down
  63. >"W-well, at least he came out alive. You should cheer up Rainbow"
  64. >Rainbro calms herself down, leaning by the lockers
  65. >"Alright..."She says to you
  66. > "It's just that, I don't want you to get hurt and all"
  67. >"I know 'mom'." You jokingly replied
  68. >"So what else happened there?" she inquired
  69. >"Well...Brad came to the scene wearing his underwear out, believing it's good luck"
  70. >The two laughed hard as Aryan Beauty enters the scene
  71. >"Well, good morning everyone. I suppose everyone had their breakf-NORMAN!"
  72. >She looks at you with shock. You just smile like a child who just hid a pair of scissors
  73. >"What happened to you? You have a black eye and bruises all over your face!"
  74. >At least she doesn't know about the bullet hole in your body
  75. >"I...was attacked by an angry pack of horse enthusiasts"
  76. >"You mean Twilight's whole family?"She replied in a serious tone
  77. >Running out of good lies, you just tell her that you and Brad were mugged
  78. >"Don't worry about it, Aryan. I'm still alive, am I?"
  79. >As she continues to question yesterday, as well as asking if you informed the police about this, Lyra walks by, feeling more Normal than before
  80. >"Excuse me Aryan"
  81. >You walk beside her while asking her
  82. >"N-Norman!"
  83. >"Lyra, we need to talk. About yesterday"
  84. >"I don't think now's a good idea"
  85. >"Alright. Can I have the ring back now though?"
  86. >Lyra stops, and says
  87. >"Can't I hold on to it for the day?"
  88. >"Lyra, it's a...family heirloom. You might lose it"
  89. >"I'm sorry, but this ring. Ever since you came home, the visions have stopped"
  90. >"What visions?"
  91. >"The visions that I get when-"
  92. >Damn, the school bell rings
  93. >"Listen, we'll talk about this later"
  94. >As she runs off, she stops and says
  95. >"...and I know this isn't a family heirloom. You got this from a meteor!"
  96. >Stunned by that statement, you were left speechless as Brad grabs you
  97. >"Come on, man!"
  98. >How the hell did she know that?
  99.
  100. Afterhours
  101. >Managed to catch up to Lyra in archery practice
  102. >"LYRA!" I yell
  103. >She responds by pointing the bow and arrow at my face
  104. >"GAH, what the hell?"
  105. >"Oh, sorry Norman"
  106. >"We need to talk, fast."You tell her, knowing that Rainbro would be extremely cross with you if you missed out today
  107. >You both go by a nearby tree, talking in whispers
  108. >"Alright, first of all, how the hell did you know about the meteor, and second of all, where did you get this locket?"
  109. >"Look, all I know is that the day the meteor landed, it's been giving me visions and sleepless nights. The last vision I had was about you and Brad finding the rock"
  110. >She holds the locket tight in her fist
  111. >She continues to explain how the locket ended up in her possession, from the scientist's laboratory to the sea all the way to under the dumpster
  112. >"And ever since I wore the locket, the visions kept coming at me at random, keeping me in danger every day"
  113. >"So why don't you just take the locket off?"
  114. >"I can't. Without it, I go blind in an instant."
  115. >What!?
  116. >She opens the locket to reveal the ring, perfectly fitting the inside of the locket
  117. >"So long as this ring is in, I won't lose my sight.
  118. >She hands me the locket
  119. >"So...you're handicapped without any of these two?"
  120. >Taking the ring from the locket, you notice Lyra going blind based on her pupils
  121. >Immediately, you put the locket on her, saying "Look, we don't even know what else these things could do"
  122. >"Besides, if you lose vision without it, what happens to me if I dont wear the ring?"
  123. >Lyra frowns upon losing the ring.
  124. >You put your arms on her shoulders
  125. >"Look, we're gonna fix this, but first I need to know if something happens to me without the ring"
  126. >She calmly replies alright
  127. >*Ahem*
  128. >You turn around to see Aryan Beauty, seemingly annoyed by something
  129. >"Rainbow Dash told me to fetch you"
  130. >"Right" you told her. Turning back to Lyra, you tell her to call him if something happens
  131. >As you walk away with Aryan Beauty, she questions your meeting with Lyra
  132. >"What was that all about"
  133. >You respond "Nothing...nothing at all"
  134. >As you walk to the valley of pain and misery, you thought about Lyra's predicament, and the fact that you have yet to know what happens to you if you lost the ring
  135. >And then the big question hits you like a truck
  136. >"When was the last time you pissed and took a crap?"
