- >You stare down the enemy.
- >His eye is fixed on you, his reptilian eye.
- >He whispers to you.
- >”The night will come.”
- >You reply.
- >”And so will the sun.”
- >You ram your knife to his head, quickly killing him.
- >You drop the corpse, exhausted.
- >You kneel on the soft mud, looking around madly.
- >Your collar brushes your cheeks.
- >You notice yourself breathing hard.
- >Three white guards approach you.
- >One of them offers you a hoof, helping you up.
- >You smile and give them a nod.
- >The three are equally beaten; one guard is missing his left wing.
- >You take a deep breath and look around.
- >The palace is in ruins, the mosaics scattered all over the floors, showing the enemy’s entry.
- >The throne is cut in half.
- >”Report.” You mutter.
- >”Hostiles eliminated. The princess is safe.” The guard missing one of his wings replied.
- >You give him a sad look.
- >”It’s… alright, sir.” He looks away.
- >You sigh and move on.
- >You see the princess in her protective barrier.
- >You give her a nod and she lets it down.
- >Around her, there are five corpses scattered about.
- >She rushes to you immediately, quickly earning herself a pony-hug.
- >You put your arms around her instinctively.
- >You can hear her sobs.
- >”Anon, I…”
- >”I killed them!”
- >She sobs more.
- >For a god-ruler, she’s pretty soft.
- >Oh boy, here comes the PTSD.
- >You pour two cups of tea.
- >You look over to Celestia, still trembling.
- >”Are you alright, Princess?”
- >Of course she isn’t, dickwad.
- >”No, but thank you Anon.”
- >She lifts the cup to her mouth, but the trembling is spilling it all over.
- >There is silence in the room.
- >You look over to her scrolls, books, notes- damn, she kept a lot of paperwork.
- >”Anon.”
- >You turn to see Celestia going to break down again.
- >”How do you kill without remorse?”
- >You pause.
- >”I- just do, Princess.”
- >”Are you born with such-“
- >”I don’t mean that.”
- >”When I slice and swing- when I look down at my opponents- I simply kill. No after thoughts, no guilt, no memories.”
- >Celestia looks to you with wonder.
- >”When you start thinking about it, that’s when you hesitate.”
- >You sip the tea.
- >”And when you hesitate-“
- >You are stopped by Celestia’s disgusted stare.
- >You figure, with your mighty social skills, that it is time to stop.
- >You put down your cup down.
- >”I should go.” You stand, and leave Celestia in her quarters.
- >As you reached the second landing of stairs, you hear a faint cry.
- >You reactively turn to Celestia’s room, the cries getting louder.
- >You feel for your wrist again.
- >You kick in the door, to see several night guards attacking Celestia’s shield.
- >You can see several cuts on the goddess already.
- >You flick both of your hands.
- >Cold metal welcomes your touch.
- >The traitors look up to you, all holding their weapon.
- >”Look, brother, something to kill.” One of the ponies speak.
- >”Well, nice to see you too, mother fucker.” You mutter.
- >You throw two of the knifes right away, putting down two guards.
- >Another set comes to your fingers.
- >You charge at the guards, who does the same.
- >You swipe your left hand to the first charging guard’s neck.
- >You then kick the ground behind you, using the first guard as a surface to vault over.
- >You turn mid air, bringing down your free hand to the second guard’s head.
- >You then dislodge your left hand, and swipe.
- >More are coming to you.
- >Swipe.
- >Swipe.
- >Swipe.
- >Swipe.
- >The swift whisper of the knife in the air rings to your ear, as you run the knife through the last guard’s throat.
- >You spin the knife in your hand, letting it pick up momentum.
- >You then let it go downwards, right to the head of the still alive guard.
- >You turn to Celestia.
- >She is bleeding badly, several cuts on her chest and thighs.
- >She lowers her shield.
- >She limps for a while before collapsing.
- >You rush to her aide, and hold her in your shoulders.
- >She sobs once again, as you balance the alicorn on your shoulder.
- >You rub your cheek to her blood-stained coat.
- >”You tried to negotiate again, didn’t you.”
- >You whisper, still holding her in your arms.
- >The two of you stand in the blood soaked room, equally painted in red, like a mad couple.
- >Fucking Sweeney Todd.
- >Eventually, you lift the princess, set her down in her bed, and let her sleep.
- >You decide to take a seat in her room just to keep it safe.
- >This was a bad day.
- >You whistle over few guards.
- >Nothing dangerous so far.
- >All guards have regrouped, and many citizens have been called to arms.
- >Not that these pompous bastards can swing something.
- >You wipe your nose and survey the scene.
- >Looks like the assault did some damage to the city, but it would seem like the attack was focused on the castle.
- >Looks like Luna wanted to keep her subjects alive.
- >Nonetheless, you had to stop this.
- >Somehow.
- >Wait, how come all bad things fixate on you?
- >You mean, Christ, you just had to get the last sip of the milk that time.
- >And you had to take out the trash.
- >The universe conspires against you.
- >You greet Shining Armor, the captain of the guards.
- >He seems nice enough; Twilight was his sister or something.
- >”Anything, Shiny?” You ask.
- >”I would appreciate it if you didn’t call me that.”
- >”Then how is it, Shining Armor?”
- >”The city is clear so far.”
- >”The guards?”
- >”Yeah, about that.”
- >You turn to the captain.
- >”Is there something wrong?”
- >”Many are injured in the assault, and some- left us.”
- >”They joined Luna?”
- >Shining turned away for a moment, as if suppressing something.
- >”Yes.”
- >Well, this can’t get any worse.
- >You wave him off, before giving him some encouragement.
- >He seemed to be pre-occupied.
- >You decide to check up on the sun-goddess again.
- >She is still in her bed, her wounds have clearly healed.
- >Goddamn pony magic, you swear.
- >You go over to her bed looking over.
- >Now you really feel like a molester.
- >”Celestia?” You call out.
- >The apparent goddess shuffles in the bed, turning away from you.
- >”Five more minutes, Anon.”
- >You sigh.
- >At least she got her old charm back.
- >As you turn away from the bed and back to your trusty chair, you hear Celestia calling out for you.
- >”Anon.”
- >You turn around.
- >This means more shenanigans.
- >”I-it hurts.”
- >You spread your arms wide in disbelief.
- >You got stabbed several times, and scathed continuously.
- >Oh, you should remember to get that checked later.
- >”Please come closer, Anon.”
- >Dammit, Molestia.
- >You come over once again.
- >You can feel your jimmies rustling a bit.
- >”Sit, please.”
- >You do as she asks.
- >You turn away from the goddess, not wanting to evoke anything.
- >”You know what would feel great, Anon?”
- >”A sunrise at the right time?”
- >You hear the alicorn grunt behind you.
- >You don’t bother turning around.
- >Ah, that triumphant smirk on your face.
- >She gets up, trots over, and you hear some magic happening.
- >Soon you feel the morning rays.
- >With the cold mountain air of Canterlot, it’s just nice.
- >You hear the alicorn jump into bed again, going back to her position.
- >”Answer me, Anonymous.” She sounds a bit irked now.
- >”Some warmth would be nice.” You mutter, looking over to her big fireplace.
- >”That is a great idea, Anon.”
- >You brace yourself for the magic to set you on fire or something.
- >You suddenly feel two hind legs across your chest, over your shoulders.
- >You are jerked back, right to Celestia.
- >”Princess, what the fu-“ You land in a face full of pony fluff.
- >You can’t breathe.
- >You struggle for a while.
- >Oh god the tension and-
- >Actually, it is pretty warm.
- >Then you realize you’re rubbing your face onto Celestia’s chest.
- >If she was a human, you would feel the room temperature rise oh so suddenly.
- >Not to mention your jimmies.
- >”I wanted to thank you for your- services, Anon.”
- >”mmfgmh” That’s all you can mutter.
- >”Sometimes, it gets so lonely being a leader.”
- >She gives a fake sigh and eases her grip on you.
- >You could manage your face to move just a little, now facing Celestia.
- >She has that look on her face again.
- >No, it won’t work.
- >You’re a human and she’s a-
- >”What’s wrong, Anon?” She looks to you, still with that face on.
- >Rape face.
- >”Doesn’t my little human enjoy a bit of- closure?” She slowly drags you closer.
- >Ohhh crap.
- >You feel for your wrists again.
- >But something does not let you.
- >To be honest, the only one who was actually close to you was Applebloom, back in Ponyville.
- >Sure, you had friends, but you never really experienced anything more than that.
- >Hell, you lived with these guys for a while.
- >When you’re in Rome…
- >You let her run one of her hooves over your face.
- >You stop your mad flailing, easing your legs and arms.
- >You run your hands through her body, slowly trailing up.
- >Wait, what the hell are you doing, captain?
- >Shut up, I got this.
- >Celestia seems surprised by your new-found enthusiasm.
- >She giggles lightly, before leaning closer to you.
- >”Have you read a story of a brave pony?”
- >”The knight, with his brave heart and his charm-“
- >Christ, what the hell, mate.
- >”He earns a kiss-“
- >She’s an inch away from you.
- >God, you hated sappy love stories.
- >”From the princess he saved.”
- >Well, shit.
- >She quickly gives you a soft peck.
- >She then leans in a bit more, making it more intimate than you want.
- >You don’t mind; just go all the way…
- >You are woken up by a soft nudge on you cheeks.
- >Princess Celestia is standing next to you, smiling warmly.
- >”You passed out on me, Anon.”
- >”Well, I guess I can say we’re even.”
- >You smile back.
- >Shining Armor bursts through the door.
- >”Princess! We have a- oh.”
- >He looks over to you and the Princess.
- >”Am I interrupting something?” He slowly backs out.
- >”No, no- it’s fine. Just check up on Anon and his wounds.”
- >Celestia walks over to the guard captain.
- >She turns her head to you, winking.
- >Something rustled badly down there.
- >You tap over your body.
- >A quick check reveals nothing sexual happened.
- >That’s one crisis averted.
- >You stare off into the ceiling.
- >”What the hell are you doing, Anon.”
