  2.
  3. >You stare down the enemy.
  4. >His eye is fixed on you, his reptilian eye.
  5. >He whispers to you.
  6. >”The night will come.”
  7. >You reply.
  8. >”And so will the sun.”
  9. >You ram your knife to his head, quickly killing him.
  10.
  11. >You drop the corpse, exhausted.
  12. >You kneel on the soft mud, looking around madly.
  13. >Your collar brushes your cheeks.
  14. >You notice yourself breathing hard.
  15. >Three white guards approach you.
  16. >One of them offers you a hoof, helping you up.
  17. >You smile and give them a nod.
  18. >The three are equally beaten; one guard is missing his left wing.
  19. >You take a deep breath and look around.
  20. >The palace is in ruins, the mosaics scattered all over the floors, showing the enemy’s entry.
  21. >The throne is cut in half.
  22. >”Report.” You mutter.
  23. >”Hostiles eliminated. The princess is safe.” The guard missing one of his wings replied.
  24. >You give him a sad look.
  25. >”It’s… alright, sir.” He looks away.
  26. >You sigh and move on.
  27.
  28. >You see the princess in her protective barrier.
  29. >You give her a nod and she lets it down.
  30. >Around her, there are five corpses scattered about.
  31. >She rushes to you immediately, quickly earning herself a pony-hug.
  32. >You put your arms around her instinctively.
  33. >You can hear her sobs.
  34. >”Anon, I…”
  35. >”I killed them!”
  36. >She sobs more.
  37. >For a god-ruler, she’s pretty soft.
  38. >Oh boy, here comes the PTSD.
  39.
  40. >You pour two cups of tea.
  41. >You look over to Celestia, still trembling.
  42. >”Are you alright, Princess?”
  43. >Of course she isn’t, dickwad.
  44. >”No, but thank you Anon.”
  45. >She lifts the cup to her mouth, but the trembling is spilling it all over.
  46.
  47. >There is silence in the room.
  48.
  49. >You look over to her scrolls, books, notes- damn, she kept a lot of paperwork.
  50. >”Anon.”
  51. >You turn to see Celestia going to break down again.
  52. >”How do you kill without remorse?”
  53. >You pause.
  54. >”I- just do, Princess.”
  55. >”Are you born with such-“
  56. >”I don’t mean that.”
  57. >”When I slice and swing- when I look down at my opponents- I simply kill. No after thoughts, no guilt, no memories.”
  58. >Celestia looks to you with wonder.
  59. >”When you start thinking about it, that’s when you hesitate.”
  60. >You sip the tea.
  61. >”And when you hesitate-“
  62. >You are stopped by Celestia’s disgusted stare.
  63. >You figure, with your mighty social skills, that it is time to stop.
  64. >You put down your cup down.
  65. >”I should go.” You stand, and leave Celestia in her quarters.
  66. >As you reached the second landing of stairs, you hear a faint cry.
  67. >You reactively turn to Celestia’s room, the cries getting louder.
  68. >You feel for your wrist again.
  69.
  70. >You kick in the door, to see several night guards attacking Celestia’s shield.
  71. >You can see several cuts on the goddess already.
  72. >You flick both of your hands.
  73. >Cold metal welcomes your touch.
  74. >The traitors look up to you, all holding their weapon.
  75. >”Look, brother, something to kill.” One of the ponies speak.
  76.
  77. >”Well, nice to see you too, mother fucker.” You mutter.
  78. >You throw two of the knifes right away, putting down two guards.
  79. >Another set comes to your fingers.
  80. >You charge at the guards, who does the same.
  81. >You swipe your left hand to the first charging guard’s neck.
  82. >You then kick the ground behind you, using the first guard as a surface to vault over.
  83. >You turn mid air, bringing down your free hand to the second guard’s head.
  84. >You then dislodge your left hand, and swipe.
  85. >More are coming to you.
  86.
  87. >Swipe.
  88.
  89. >Swipe.
  90. >Swipe.
  91. >Swipe.
  92.
  93. >The swift whisper of the knife in the air rings to your ear, as you run the knife through the last guard’s throat.
  94. >You spin the knife in your hand, letting it pick up momentum.
  95. >You then let it go downwards, right to the head of the still alive guard.
  96.
  97. >You turn to Celestia.
  98. >She is bleeding badly, several cuts on her chest and thighs.
  99. >She lowers her shield.
  100. >She limps for a while before collapsing.
  101. >You rush to her aide, and hold her in your shoulders.
  102. >She sobs once again, as you balance the alicorn on your shoulder.
  103. >You rub your cheek to her blood-stained coat.
  104. >”You tried to negotiate again, didn’t you.”
  105. >You whisper, still holding her in your arms.
  106. >The two of you stand in the blood soaked room, equally painted in red, like a mad couple.
  107.
  108. >Fucking Sweeney Todd.
  109.
  110. >Eventually, you lift the princess, set her down in her bed, and let her sleep.
  111. >You decide to take a seat in her room just to keep it safe.
  112.
  113. >This was a bad day.
  114.
  115. >You whistle over few guards.
  116. >Nothing dangerous so far.
  117. >All guards have regrouped, and many citizens have been called to arms.
  118. >Not that these pompous bastards can swing something.
  119. >You wipe your nose and survey the scene.
  120. >Looks like the assault did some damage to the city, but it would seem like the attack was focused on the castle.
  121. >Looks like Luna wanted to keep her subjects alive.
  122. >Nonetheless, you had to stop this.
  123.
  124. >Somehow.
  125.
  126. >Wait, how come all bad things fixate on you?
  127. >You mean, Christ, you just had to get the last sip of the milk that time.
  128. >And you had to take out the trash.
  129. >The universe conspires against you.
  130.
  131. >You greet Shining Armor, the captain of the guards.
  132. >He seems nice enough; Twilight was his sister or something.
  133.
  134. >”Anything, Shiny?” You ask.
  135. >”I would appreciate it if you didn’t call me that.”
  136. >”Then how is it, Shining Armor?”
  137. >”The city is clear so far.”
  138. >”The guards?”
  139. >”Yeah, about that.”
  140. >You turn to the captain.
  141. >”Is there something wrong?”
  142. >”Many are injured in the assault, and some- left us.”
  143. >”They joined Luna?”
  144. >Shining turned away for a moment, as if suppressing something.
  145. >”Yes.”
  146.
  147. >Well, this can’t get any worse.
  148.
  149. >You wave him off, before giving him some encouragement.
  150. >He seemed to be pre-occupied.
  151. >You decide to check up on the sun-goddess again.
  152. >She is still in her bed, her wounds have clearly healed.
  153. >Goddamn pony magic, you swear.
  154. >You go over to her bed looking over.
  155. >Now you really feel like a molester.
  156. >”Celestia?” You call out.
  157. >The apparent goddess shuffles in the bed, turning away from you.
  158. >”Five more minutes, Anon.”
  159. >You sigh.
  160. >At least she got her old charm back.
  161.
  162. >As you turn away from the bed and back to your trusty chair, you hear Celestia calling out for you.
  163. >”Anon.”
  164. >You turn around.
  165. >This means more shenanigans.
  166. >”I-it hurts.”
  167. >You spread your arms wide in disbelief.
  168. >You got stabbed several times, and scathed continuously.
  169. >Oh, you should remember to get that checked later.
  170. >”Please come closer, Anon.”
  171. >Dammit, Molestia.
  172. >You come over once again.
  173. >You can feel your jimmies rustling a bit.
  174. >”Sit, please.”
  175. >You do as she asks.
  176. >You turn away from the goddess, not wanting to evoke anything.
  177. >”You know what would feel great, Anon?”
  178. >”A sunrise at the right time?”
  179. >You hear the alicorn grunt behind you.
  180. >You don’t bother turning around.
  181. >Ah, that triumphant smirk on your face.
  182. >She gets up, trots over, and you hear some magic happening.
  183. >Soon you feel the morning rays.
  184. >With the cold mountain air of Canterlot, it’s just nice.
  185. >You hear the alicorn jump into bed again, going back to her position.
  186. >”Answer me, Anonymous.” She sounds a bit irked now.
  187. >”Some warmth would be nice.” You mutter, looking over to her big fireplace.
  188. >”That is a great idea, Anon.”
  189. >You brace yourself for the magic to set you on fire or something.
  190. >You suddenly feel two hind legs across your chest, over your shoulders.
  191. >You are jerked back, right to Celestia.
  192. >”Princess, what the fu-“ You land in a face full of pony fluff.
  193.
  194. >You can’t breathe.
  195. >You struggle for a while.
  196. >Oh god the tension and-
  197. >Actually, it is pretty warm.
  198. >Then you realize you’re rubbing your face onto Celestia’s chest.
  199. >If she was a human, you would feel the room temperature rise oh so suddenly.
  200. >Not to mention your jimmies.
  201.
  202. >”I wanted to thank you for your- services, Anon.”
  203. >”mmfgmh” That’s all you can mutter.
  204. >”Sometimes, it gets so lonely being a leader.”
  205. >She gives a fake sigh and eases her grip on you.
  206. >You could manage your face to move just a little, now facing Celestia.
  207. >She has that look on her face again.
  208. >No, it won’t work.
  209. >You’re a human and she’s a-
  210. >”What’s wrong, Anon?” She looks to you, still with that face on.
  211.
  212. >Rape face.
  213.
  214. >”Doesn’t my little human enjoy a bit of- closure?” She slowly drags you closer.
  215. >Ohhh crap.
  216. >You feel for your wrists again.
  217. >But something does not let you.
  218. >To be honest, the only one who was actually close to you was Applebloom, back in Ponyville.
  219. >Sure, you had friends, but you never really experienced anything more than that.
  220. >Hell, you lived with these guys for a while.
  221. >When you’re in Rome…
  222.
  223. >You let her run one of her hooves over your face.
  224. >You stop your mad flailing, easing your legs and arms.
  225. >You run your hands through her body, slowly trailing up.
  226.
  227. >Wait, what the hell are you doing, captain?
  228. >Shut up, I got this.
  229.
  230. >Celestia seems surprised by your new-found enthusiasm.
  231. >She giggles lightly, before leaning closer to you.
  232.
  233. >”Have you read a story of a brave pony?”
  234. >”The knight, with his brave heart and his charm-“
  235. >Christ, what the hell, mate.
  236. >”He earns a kiss-“
  237. >She’s an inch away from you.
  238. >God, you hated sappy love stories.
  239. >”From the princess he saved.”
  240. >Well, shit.
  241. >She quickly gives you a soft peck.
  242. >She then leans in a bit more, making it more intimate than you want.
  243. >You don’t mind; just go all the way…
  244.
  245. >You are woken up by a soft nudge on you cheeks.
  246. >Princess Celestia is standing next to you, smiling warmly.
  247. >”You passed out on me, Anon.”
  248. >”Well, I guess I can say we’re even.”
  249. >You smile back.
  250.
  251. >Shining Armor bursts through the door.
  252. >”Princess! We have a- oh.”
  253. >He looks over to you and the Princess.
  254. >”Am I interrupting something?” He slowly backs out.
  255. >”No, no- it’s fine. Just check up on Anon and his wounds.”
  256. >Celestia walks over to the guard captain.
  257. >She turns her head to you, winking.
  258. >Something rustled badly down there.
  259.
  260. >You tap over your body.
  261. >A quick check reveals nothing sexual happened.
  262. >That’s one crisis averted.
  263.
  264. >You stare off into the ceiling.
  265.
  266. >”What the hell are you doing, Anon.”
