AiE: 3 short

>Your sleep is dismissed with books being removed from around your head revealing a bright sunlight through the window.

"Hey I was reading those"

>Twi: "Right. help me put these back. I didn't expect you to sleep with them"

"I didn't think books could make my kidneys feel wonderful"

>Focusing magic around the books picking them up stacking them neatly along the floor as twilight starts alphabetizing them leaving you to put them on the shelves.

>After the shelving is finished you take a quick look through your bags before hurling them down the stairs to your room.

"Fifty bits. Mind coming with me to the market place Twilight? I may have given up meat does not mean I don't need protein. "

>Twi: "Oh thats right you can eat meat" as she gags to her self "How can you eat animals?"

>Shrugging the question off slipping your shoes and grabbing your coin purse both of you taking leave.

"Wheres spike?"

>Twi: "At Rarity's. If hes not home hes at Rarity's trying to get her to notice him."

"How old is he compared to ponies?"

>Twi: "Well he will outlive me but I would say a bit older then Sweetie belle and Applebloom"

>Trying to think back if you met the ponies she mentioned.

>You get a lighter version of applejack with a red mane and giant bow. and sweetie belle unicorn, white coat like rarity's with light pink and purple mane.

"Hmmm interesting."

>Twi: "So what all do you need?"

"Bread. Lots of eggs. fruit. the normal."

 

Small adventure unfolds as Twilight shows you the rest of the town pointing down which way sweet apple acres is and Fluttershy's cottage. meeting several ponies who couldn't attend the party while buying groceries. Thankfully most seemed accepted. those who didn't held their tongue. no point in scaring away a customer even if you don't trust them. Traveling back Twilight introduced you to Apple jacks brother big mac.

Walk back was pretty uneventful sun directly over head. giving a quick hello to rainbow dash who is sleeping on a cloud nearby she doesn't respond. oh well doesn't hurt to still be friendly.

Arriving to Twilight's and now your home for the time being Spike is no where to be found. A letter is on the table saying hes out helping Rarity gather gems. Only makes you worry for the little guy. Twilight begins putting every thing away while you look for a book on magic. finding one "Magic and you. beginners guide to magic" Sitting down you begin reading it while Twilight does her thing.

 

>Reading a bit in you ask Twilight if she has a candle.

>She hands you one looking at you questioning what for.

>Putting your hand near it focusing on the flame.

>fueling the fire with magic flow.

>Breaking the fire off slowly into your hand you hold a flame.

>Twi:"Do you even need me as a teacher?"

"Maybe. I took a huge guess. Need to find out why I can even use magic in the first place and in such a way."

>Focusing the flame into a more spiral shape spinning it as it floats in place.

>Waiting a bit before you scoff the magic source out the flame disappearing in an explosion of colors.

"Twilight. Why can I use magic and see the workings of it?"
