Teamcraft 2 chapter 1: the rocket

(This story is focused on the scout and his experience)

Chapter 1: The rocket

"Come on fatso!" exclaimed scout as he carried the case.

"I am mooving as fast as I can, little man," Heavy yelled.

They were nearing the platform that would take the case to the rocket. The entire blue team was behind scout,

because he was the case carrier. They all rounded a corner, to be met by the red team, waiting for them to come.

The red spy came up, with a look of confidence on his face. "Did you think you could run to ze rocket without any resistance? Hahaha!"

This made blue sniper really angry.

"You blokes think you could take on us!? Let me show you just what this team can do," Said sniper.

He ran up, and sliced the spy's head off.

The red team stood in horror when they looked at the rage fueled, blood covered sniper. He had killed their leader, this wasn't going to go unpunished.

The blue team stood victorious, but not without a price. They had lost demoman, soldier, pyro, and sniper.

While their lives would be remembered, it would be all in vain if they didn't get to their goal, so they trudged on.

They could see the rocket on the horizon. They pushed themselves to their limits to get to it. Heavy was the most worn out.

"I need a break, tiny man," said heavy to scout.

"Come on fatty, we're almost there, it's just around the corner!"

"I said, I need break," Heavy said as he locked eyes with scout.

Scout said nothing, just giving a 'humph' and looking away. He went deep into thought.

'What if the rocket is for something we don't know about? Did Mann. Co. not tell us about anything?' Scout surmised. His train of thought was derailed when engineer spoke.

"uh, fellas?" Engineer said nervously, "Ah think we got some company."

Scout looked behind them. It looked like the red team, but they were...... wait, robots?

"Guys, we gotta move!" yelled scout.

All of them ran to the rocket, and got on the lift. They shot their weapons at the robots, hoping to stop the never-ending wave of them. The lift halted at a certain level of the rocket, and they wondered what to do next.

"Der, a case slot!" yelled medic.

Scout saw the opening and ran for it. He slammed the case in, and waited.

And waited, and waited, and waited.

Suddenly, they were sucked into the rocket by an unknown force. The rocket blasted off, away from the horde

of robots. Scout let out a sigh of relief, knowing they were safe.

For now at least.

He noticed they were in a small storage area. He saw that all of his remaining teammates were with him also. He knew that his job was done, and they were off to wherever the rocket was taking them.

Suddenly, a loud boom sounded outside the rocket, and it threw all of them to the ground. Scout got up, and immediately looked out the small window. He gasped at what was happening.

They were heading towards a worm hole.

He banged on the door, hoping that somehow it would open, but it didn't. He and his teammates all prepared for the bumpy ride ahead of them.

"Not good!"

"Okay, this does not look good here, um...."

"GAH!"

 

And they went through.
