  1. (Fluttershy's PoV)
  2.
  3. >You had been visiting Rarity's boutique everyday for several days now.
  4. >And everyday when you come into town, that orange pegasus is there to greet you.
  5. >He's nice and all, but you can't help but shy away from him.
  6. >As you walk into town, he is, once again, waiting for you.
  7.
  8. >"Good morning, Fluttershy."
  9. "Good morning, sir."
  10. >"How are you this morning?"
  11. "Very good. You?"
  12. >"I am fantastic."
  13. "That's nice."
  14.
  15. >He walked beside you as you strode through town.
  16. >"Hey Fluttershy, I wanted to ask you something."
  17. "Hmm?"
  18. >"You wanna catch breakfast today? I'll buy."
  19. "Sure. I don't have to be at Rarity's for awhile."
  20. >He smiled and trotted a little faster, leading you.
  21. --
  22. >At the diner, you each order and begin a little chat.
  23. >Over the course of the last few days, you have grown more and more uncomfortable around him.
  24. >Sometimes it gets to the point where you have to excuse yourself to stop a conversation.
  25. >Today wasn't much different.
  26. >The conversation quickly takes a turn for the worse.
  27.
  28. >"I would do anything!"
  29. "I'm sorry, but you know I'm marrying Anonymous."
  30. >"But inter-species marriage is just... wrong."
  31. "I don't see a problem with it."
  32. >"How can you not? Just look at him! He's disgusting!"
  33. "I think he's beautiful," you take a sip of your tea.
  34. >"How? He's a monster!"
  35. >By Celestia, that is getting very irritating.
  36. >Anon is not a monster, he's a human!
  37.
  38. >"I mean, if you would marry him, why not me? What does he got that I don't?"
  39. >Is that what all this is about?
  40. >He wants you because Anon has you?
  41. >Suddenly, you don't want to be friends with this pony anymore.
  42. "Anon and I have a special bond that you just wouldn't understand."
  43. >"He wats other creatures! And he even started a few fights already. What makes you think you can keep him so tame for very long?"
  44. "I can talk down to a dragon, even though it is very scary..."
  45. >You shiver.
  46. "Anon can control himself. He's not an animal."
  47. --
  48. >"But you deserve somepony better. You deserve to be happy."
  49. "I'm alrea-"
  50. >"You deserve to have foals."
  51. "-dy hap-"
  52.
  53. >You were silent.
  54. >You were indeed happy with Anonymous.
  55. >And you loved him, and he loved you.
  56. >But foals...
  57. >You and Anonymous loved the idea of having foals and starting a real family.
  58. >But being of different species had made the two of you... incompatible.
  59.
  60. >You simply stand without a word and walk away.
  61. >A single tear falls from your eye.
  62. >He flew around and jumped in front of you.
  63. >"Just come with me, and we can start a life together."
  64. "No."
  65. >You are walking with your head down, your bangs covering your eyes.
  66. >"Oh come on! What will it take to-"
  67. "I said," you spin to face him and whip your hair out of your face. "NO!"
  68. >You give him 'The Stare' and he freezes in place.
  69. >He can sense the intense anger behind your eyes.
  70. >He slowly backs away, before finally turning and flying away.
  71. >You close your eyes and sigh.
  72. >Hopefully you will never see him again.
  73. >You will need to tell Anon about this.
  74. --
  75. (Anon's PoV)
  76.
  77. "You do realize I am not frightened by you in any way, right?"
  78. >The brown pony had a sheet over him, trying to scare you out of town by pretending to be a ghost.
  79. >"Beware!" he shouted before running away.
  80. >You shake your head.
  81. >This hasn't even become fun anymore, just rediculously stupid.
  82. >It's been several days now, with that stupid pony showing up once or twice a day to try to get you to leave.
  83.
  84. >You drop off the last of the lumber the foreman at the construction site asked for.
  85. >You forgot what they were building, but who cares, money.
  86. >As he pays you, you swear you can hear a very faint 'NO!' in the distance.
  87. >You turn around and look towards the sky, as if the words would be floating though the air.
  88. >You get a slight shiver.
  89. >Something just doesn't feel right.
  90.
  91. >You take a seat at the fountain in the town square and open your paper to try to find something else to do.
  92. >You sift through the pages before deciding to just throw the paper down and lie back on the stones.
  93. >This sucks.
  94. >Enough of scraping by with odd jobs.
  95. >You need a good idea for a permanent solution.
  96.
  97. >Your friends have already tossed many good ideas at you, but you are still undecided about acting on them.
  98. >Cooking does seem like the best choice so far, as that seems to be the most recommended by the others.
  99. >Screw this.
  100. >You decide to just go home for the day.
  101. >You'll have to mull it over tonight.
  102. >Maybe Fluttershy can help you when she gets home.
  103. --
  104. >You open the door and head straight for the kitchen.
  105. >The first thing you do is head straight to the refridgerator.
  106. >You open it to find... nothing.
  107. >It's always nothing.
  108. >There's never anything you can pick at or drink.
  109. >It's always crap.
  110. >You grunt in frustration and close the door.
  111.
  112. >But then, you hear a stifled cry.
  113. >Sniffles in fact.
  114. >What the hell?
  115. >You walk out into the living room and look around.
  116. >You drop your head and close your eyes, listening.
  117. >It's coming from upstairs.
  118. >You walk to your bedroom and open the door.
  119.
  120. >Fluttershy is lying face down on the bed, a pillow over the top of her head.
  121. >She is crying.
  122. >You walk over and sit down on the bed, placing your hand on her upper back.
  123. >She flinches and looks back at you, pillow falling to the floor.
  124. >"Anon?" she wipes her nose with her foreleg.
  125. "Yeah." you say, your voice has a caring tone to it. "Fluttershy, what's wrong?"
  126. >She grabs the other pillow and drops her face into it.
  127. >She doesn't say a word.
  128. >As she cries, you lie down next to her, your arm around her, trying to console her.
  129. --
  130. >It must have been an hour.
  131. >Your eyes were closed, but you weren't asleep.
  132. >You held Fluttershy close, but neither of you said a word.
  133. >Her cries had died down to just a soft sniffle every now and again.
  134. >She had removed her face from the pillow and was sharing it with you.
  135. >You had kicked off your shoes a while ago, and were curled up behind her.
  136. >Not quite spooning, but not far from it.
  137.
  138. >"Anon," whispered Fluttershy.
  139. >"Yeah?" you ask quietly.
  140. >"Will we *sniff* ever have foals?"
  141. >Is that what this is about?
  142. >You have been over this many times already, but this is different.
  143. >Something, or somepony, had upset her greatly.
  144. >You open your eyes and speak softly.
  145. "Of course."
  146.
  147. >She slowly turned over to face you.
  148. >"B-but... how?"
  149. "The old fashioned way, of course."
  150. >You smile, but she looks down towards the foot of the bed, pressing her head into your chest.
  151. >"I'm serious," she says. "We can't have foals the normal way."
  152. "Hey," you lift her chin to look at you.
  153. >Her eyes and cheeks were moist and red.
  154. >You give her a long, soft kiss on the lips.
  155. "I told you before, we will find a way. Magic can do anything, correct?"
  156. >It didn't visually appease her, but you sense a very slight shift in her tone.
  157.
  158. >"I guess so *sniff* but who could possibly do such a thing?"
  159. "Well there's always Twilight. She well-versed in magic. Perhaps she or her mentor could think of something?"
  160. >"But you immune to magic," her voice drops again and she looks back down.
  161. >You haven't forgotten.
  162. >But there may be something else to this.
  163. >You aren't nessecarily immune to magic, just highly resistant.
  164. >But there is a certain zebra who might be able to help.
  165. --
  166. "If all else fails," you lift her chin again. "you are not."
  167. >Her face lit up.
  168. >"You're right!"
  169. >She hugs your neck and plants a kiss on your cheek.
  170. >"Just because you can't be touched by magic, doesn't mean I can't!"
  171. >She was getting real giddy and was clopping her front hooves together.
  172. >You grabbed her hooves and spread them, stopping the clopping.
  173. "Don't get so excited. Also, don't get so down. We still have a long time to think about this."
  174. >She looked at you with those big, beautiful eyes and smiled.
  175. >She nodded her head and hopped out of bed.
  176.
  177. >She trotted to the door, head held high.
  178. >"What do you want for lunch?" she asked.
  179. >You hadn't thought about it.
  180. >You were so focused on deciding a career for yourself, and then had to focus on Fluttershy.
  181. "Surprise me."
  182. >Fluttershy squeed and soared down the stairs to the kitchen.
  183. >It could be a while before lunch is ready.
  184. >You slide to the edge of the bed and pick up the pillow that was on the floor.
  185. >Utilizing both pillows, you get comfy on the bed and doze off.
  186. --
  187. >It had been two days and you haven't seen the newspaper-hating pony yet.
  188. >Perhaps he had finally gotten it through his head that you aren't going anywhere?
  189. >"Hey you!"
  190. >Or not.
  191. >You turn from your work to see, surprise, surprise, the brown pony.
  192. >He had war paint on his face and was wearing horseshoes of steel.
  193. >He can't really be serious, can he?
  194.
  195. "What?" you ask, turning back to your work.
  196. >"I am here to-"
  197. "Run me out of town?" you ask, cutting him off.
  198. >"Well, yes. I am-"
  199. "Going to beat my flank? By the looks of it, I would say that is correct."
  200. >"Really? You actually think I can beat you up?" he asked, a look of excitement on his face.
  201. "No, dumb ass," you snort, beyond the point of trying to protec his feelings. "I was just pointing out that it looks like you're ready for a fight."
  202. >"Oh. Well, in any case, I am here to fight for the liberation of Ponyville!"
  203.
  204. >What. The. Fuck. Is this guy's problem?
  205. >Who the hell is telling him all this stupid information?
  206. >"I am also here to fight for all of the mares of Ponyville!"
  207. >Well that makes a hell of a lot more sense, you guess.
  208. >"I am going to defend our mares from your evil influence."
  209. "The hell are you talking about kid?" you ask, still working.
  210. >"You have corrupted Fluttershy, and before your cancer can spread to the others, I will stop you!"
  211. --
  212. >Okay, now you're interested.
  213. >You look up from your work and listen more intently.
  214. >"You, a disgusting creature, are below us ponies. You do not deserve to even look at the beautiful mares this town has to offer."
  215. >You have a feeling of where this is going.
  216. >"You WILL keep your monkey paws off of the mares, and Fluttershy."
  217. >Is Fluttershy not considered part of these 'mares'?
  218. >The fuck?
  219. >"You will break off your connection with Fluttershy."
  220. >He takes a fighting stance.
  221. >"Or I will break you."
  222.
  223. >You were supporting your head with your hands the whole time he was talking.
  224. >After a short silence, you lift your head and ask,
  225. "You done yet?"
  226. >The pony becomes confused and looks around for a second.
  227. >"What do you mean, am I done yet? No I'm not done! I'm still gonna beat your flank!"
  228. >He takes a step towards you.
  229. >You let out a deep sigh.
  230. >Apparently, this pony was actually serious this time.
  231. >You don't want to fight him.
  232. >You just want to get back to work.
  233. >Not because you're worried you'll lose or something, you just have better things to do with your time.
  234. --
  235. "Run along little pony. I have more important things to do today than play with you."
  236. >"I am going no where. You, however, will finally be forced to leave."
  237. >You move around your project, turning your back to him.
  238. "Listen, I don't know what you're doing or who's telling you these things, but I- OOF!"
  239. >You fall forward into your project, a pain in your lower back.
  240. "Gah! What the fuck!"
  241. >Okay, he means business.
  242.
  243. >You pick yourself up quickly and turn around.
  244. >The pony is in a mock boxing stance, throwing jabs at the air.
  245. >Now you're confused.
  246. >Is he actually trying to fight, or is he still playing?
  247. >You rub your back where he just kicked you.
  248. >Damn, those shoes of his can pack quite a punch.
  249.
  250. "You're really gonna try this?"
  251. >"You bet your flank!"
  252. >He makes a dash for you.
  253. >He spins around to buck you with his rear legs.
  254. >You dodge, but he ends up kicking your little project, punching a large hole in it.
  255. "Oh come on!"
  256. >You worked so hard!
  257. --
  258. >"You dare taunt me?"
  259. >Wait, what?
  260. >He tries to buck you again, and again you dodge.
  261. >He kicked another hole in your project.
  262. "Would you knock that shit off? Your really starting to piss me off."
  263. >You're answered with a hoof in the stomach.
  264. >You double over, arms wrapped around your gut.
  265. >You look up and move your head to the side.
  266. >Son of a bitch tried to buck you in the fucking skull.
  267.
  268. >You quickly grab his leg before he can recover from his kick and stand.
  269. >You hold him out arms length.
  270. >The pony was flailing around, trying to kick you to release himself.
  271. "You know, that really hurt."
  272. >"Put me down so I can buck your stupid face again!" he shouted, still flailing his limbs wildly.
  273. >He kicking your arms with his free leg, but considering he can't kick it very well in his particular position, it doesn't hurt so bad.
  274.
  275. "What the hell is your problem little pony?"
  276. >"I WILL END YOU!"
  277. "We'll see ab- AH mother fucker!"
  278. >He managed to curl up towards your arms and bite you.
  279. >You drop him immediately and he falls on his head, stunning him for a second.
  280. >He quickly staggered to his hooves and took a few steps back.
  281. >He braces himself against any kind of counter you might throw at him.
  282. --
  283. >You hold you arm where he just bit you.
  284. >He barely broke the skin in a few spots, and left a nasty mark to boot.
  285. >You stare at it for a fews seconds.
  286. >A smile graces your face.
  287. >You chuckle.
  288. >"What the Tartarus is so funny?" asked the pony.
  289. >It's actually because you laugh at everything, pain included.
  290. >An awesome idea just came to mind.
  291.
  292. >You raise your arm and show him the mark, blood seeping from the wound.
  293. "How does it feel to taste another creature?" you ask with a smile.
  294. >"What are you-"
  295. "You know that metallic taste in your mouth right now?"
  296. >He smacks his lips.
  297. >"Uh, yeah?"
  298. >You run two fingers over your bite, soaking them in blood.
  299. >You raise them mouth and suck the blood off.
  300. >You smile at him and say,
  301. "What was that about ponies not eating other creatures? I see hypocrisy in you. So tell me, do you enjoy it as much as I?"
  302. >He gagged.
  303. >"But I wasn't *gag* trying to eat you... I... I only-"
  304. >He turned and vomited profusely.
  305. >You bust out in an uncontrollable laughter.
  306. >Obviously, he was only trying to hurt you.
  307. >But he's stupid enough to believe you, even though you are directly contradicting his own thought process and actions.
  308. --
  309. >Before he can figure out how much of an idiot he is, you walk over and grab him again.
  310. >This time, you forced him to the ground and held him, keeping wary of his legs.
  311. >"Hey! What are you-"
  312. "Shut up."
  313. >"You can't stop me! I will protect everypony!"
  314. "I still haven't a clue what you're talking about."
  315. >"We will stop you!"
  316. "We?"
  317. >"You will lose her! We won't stop until your done for!"
  318.
  319. >What the fuck is he talking about?
  320. >What does think you're gonna do? Kill him?
  321. "I will lose her? Fluttershy?"
  322. >"You can't hurt her anymore!"
  323. >You slap him across the face, silencing him.
  324. "What the hell are you talking about," you demand.
  325. >"Uh... what?"
  326. >You facepalm.
  327. >Did this idiot really just tell you all of this without realizing?
  328.
  329. >He sees your reaction.
  330. >"Oh... did I say that out loud?"
  331. "Yes."
  332. >He rubs the back of his head and nervously smiles.
  333. >"Heheh, whoops."
  334. --
  335. "Now then, what were you talking about?"
  336. >"Nothing."
  337. >You smack him upside the head, not too hard.
  338. "What were you talking about," this time with feeling.
  339. >"I, uh... Just... Fluttershy... and you... gone forever"
  340. "What!"
  341. >You grip his throat and force him to look at you.
  342. >You lower your face to his.
  343. >The tone of your voice grows cold.
  344. "What about Fluttershy?"
  345. >"Nothing."
  346. >You grab his head with both hands and slammed it on the ground.
  347. "What are you doing to Fluttershy!"
  348.
  349. (Fluttershy's PoV)
  350.
  351. >Anonymous left a few hours ago to work on some 'special project'.
  352. >He didn't tell you the details, but he wanted to meet you for lunch.
  353. >You were so excited!
  354. >Perhaps it was a gift?
  355. >Or maybe he finally figured out a way to earn a steady flow of coin?
  356. >Either way, you couldn't wait to get into Ponyville!
  357. >You were trotting down the road, head held high and a smile on your face.
  358. >Maybe you can both go to Rarity's to-
  359. >"Hello again, Fluttershy..."
  360. --
  361. >You freeze and turn around.
  362. >Walking out of the bushes on the side of the road, was the orange pegasus from a few days ago.
  363. >Last you saw of him, you scared him away.
  364. >You thought you saw the last of him.
  365. >You were wrong.
  366. >He was not his usual cheery self that you had come to know.
  367. >His facial expression was very unnerving.
  368. >Even the tone of his voice was as cold as ice.
  369.
  370. >He walks a circle around you, like a predator stalking his prey.
  371. "Oh, hello there. What are you-"
  372. >"Shut up."
  373. "Eep!"
  374. >You slowly back away, trying to stay away from him.
  375. >"You know we could've had a happy life together, right?"
  376. "I... um..."
  377. >"I would've done anything for you. We could've had a family!"
  378. "Oh look at the time."
  379. >You turn and run, but he flies ahead of you and blocks your path.
  380.
  381. >He walks toward you, staring you down.
  382. >You back up, looking behind you for an escape.
  383. >But he would just fly past you again.
  384. >"You and I both know how wrong inter-species relations are."
  385. >You continue backing up, and he continues walking towards you.
  386. --
  387. >"You know, I used to think, 'She'll marry THAT? Maybe I'll have a chance!' But it seems your mind has been so deluded, that's not gonna happen."
  388. "Well I'm glad you finally think so. Now if you'll excuse me."
  389. >"Hold on!"
  390. >He spreads his wings as a show of intimidation.
  391. >"That was back when I thought I could win you over. But now, I'm through playing nice."
  392. "What's that supposed to mean?"
  393. >You try to shrink yourself, growing ever-so increasingly afraid.
  394. >"You have a duty to your species, that's what."
  395.
  396. >You are now afraid for your life.
  397. >You stand tall and stick your chest out.
  398. >You stare at him through the fear and intimidation.
  399. >He stops with a worried look.
  400. >After a brief second, he shakes his head and continues toward you.
  401. >"That's not gonna work twice."
  402. "Oh, uh... Well I'm just gonna- What the heck is that!"
  403. >You point behind him and he turns to look.
  404. >You take off in flight, but stay low to the ground.
  405. >There's no time to gain altitude.
  406.
  407. >"Not so fast!"
  408. >The orange pegasus grabs you from above and forces you to the ground.
  409. >You tumble and roll as you hit the dirt.
  410. >He lands on top of you and rolls you over on your back.
  411. "NO! Somepony hel-"
  412. >He smacks you across in the face, effectively silencing you.
  413. >"I will get what is mine! And I will have you to myself!"
  414. >Through tears and sobs, he moves to kiss you.
  415. >You look away from him, but he forces you to look up at him.
  416. >As he goes to kiss you again, you see the swift motion of a shoe make contact with his jaw.
  417. --
  418. >The orange pegasus goes flying off of you.
  419. >You see Anon follow through with his kick and immediately charge the pegasus.
  420. >Anon tries to grab him, but the pegasus rolls clear and jumps onto his back.
  421. >He bites down into Anon's shoulder.
  422. >With a roar of pain, Anon reaches back and grabs the pony just below the jaw.
  423. >Anon pulls him off and slams him into the ground.
  424. >Anon moves to stomp the pony, but he rolls clear again.
  425. >With the other leg, Anon kicks him in the face again.
  426.
  427. >The pony goes flying into the air, but recovers before he hits the ground.
  428. >He dives on Anon, kicking him in the head.
  429. >Anon staggers and the pegasus makes another pass, again and again.
  430. >Anon's face was soaked in blood and swollen.
  431. >As the pegasus goes to make another pass, Anon jumps up and throws himself into the pegasi's path.
  432. >Taking the full brunt straight to his chest, he grabbed the pegasus as they made contact and fell through the air.
  433. >They slammed into the ground, Anon on his back.
  434. >The impact caused Anon to release the pegasus again.
  435.
  436. >The pegasus got to his hooves and, utilizing his wings for propulsion, charged Anon.
  437. >He jumped and slammed into Anon's chest as he was rising to his knees.
  438. >Anon was knocked onto his back, his head bouncing off the ground.
  439. "No..." you whisper, covering your eyes from the sight.
  440. >The pegasus looks at Anon, then to you.
  441. >He smiles.
  442. >"Where were we?"
  443. --
  444. >You slide back, away from him.
  445. >His evil grin terrifying you more than anything you have ever met before.
  446. >You cover your eyes again.
  447. >He reaches a hoof out to you.
  448. >A hand rests itself on his shoulder.
  449. >"I was just about to kick your ass," Anon replied, mustering the best smile he could through a bloody mouth and swollen eyes.
  450. >The pegasus whirled around, attempting to back hoof Anon.
  451. >Anon held out his other hand and grabbed his hoof.
  452. >Grabbing his hoof with both hand, Anon lifts him over his head and slams him into the dirt.
  453.
  454. >The pegasus shouts in agony as Anon repeats this action several times.
  455. >Anon sets the pony upright, gripping him beneath the wings.
  456. >Anon suplexes the pegasus, bending over backward and slamming the pony's head into the ground.
  457. >Anon shouted in pain as his back hits the dirt.
  458. >He slowly rolled over and, with a groan and shaky knees, stood.
  459. >The pegasus also rolled over and stood.
  460. >Once again, he rushed Anon.
  461. >Anon lifted his foot and brought it down into the back of the pony's head, driving his face into the dirt.
  462. >As his head went down, his rear came up.
  463. >Anon grabbed his tail and brought the pony over his head again and slammed him into the ground.
  464. >Spinning around, Anon hammer-throws the pegasus into a nearby tree.
  465. --
  466. >Tired, broken, and breathing heavily, Anon walked over and grabbed the pegasus by the throat, lifting him eye-level.
  467. >The pony spit blood into Anon's face.
  468. >Anon responded with a swift hook to the jaw.
  469. >Blood and spit flew from the pony's mouth as he was hit.
  470. >"Where the buck did you come from anyways?" he asks, barely able to choke out the question.
  471. >Anon bring the pony's face close to his own.
  472. >"None of your fucking business, that's where," answered Anon.
  473. >With a war cry, Anon lifted the pony high above his head.
  474. >The pony kicked and screamed as Anon brought him down, choke-slamming him into the ground as hard as he possibly could.
  475.
  476. >The pegasus was knocked unconcious the second his head hit the ground.
  477. >His wings were bent something very unnatural.
  478. >Anon was doubled over, trying to regain control of his breathing.
  479. >Blood flowed from his face.
  480. >He fell to one knee.
  481. >He was wobbling a bit, his hands balled into fists and shaking.
  482. >He stood and lift his leg, hovering his foot above the pony's head.
  483. >You cringed and watched in horror, imagining all the rage and pain Anon is feeling being exerted into one final stomp.
  484. >But after holding it there for a few seconds, Anon backed off.
  485. >He looked over to you, curled on the ground and crying.
  486. >He looked back to the pegasus and sighed, walking over to you.
  487. --
  488. >He doesn't say a word.
  489. >He knelt down and brushed your hair our of your face.
  490. >He lifted your chin and caressed your face.
  491. >You know he sees the mark that pegasus left on your face.
  492. >He closed his eyes and slowly shook his head.
  493. >He stood and walk back over to the pegasus.
  494. >Oh no.
  495. >What was he gonna do?
  496.
  497. "Anon?"
  498. >He bent down and grabbed the pegasus by the tail.
  499. >"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'm not gonna kill him."
  500. >This offered you some solace, but not much.
  501. "So... W-what are you gonna do with him?"
  502. >Anon dragged him toward you and knelt down again.
  503. >"I'm sorry I allowed this to happen to you," he said.
  504. >"Are you alright?" he asked, rubbing the mark on your face.
  505. "I'm fine. I should ask you the same."
  506. >He smiled as best he could.
  507. >"You know me," he laughed. "I have a little problem asking for help."
  508. >You smile and nod, "Yeah, I do."
  509.
  510. >He stands and starts walking towards Ponyville, dragging the pegasus behind him.
  511. "Anon?" you ask, very worried.
  512. >"Please go home Fluttershy. I will be home soon enough to take care of you."
  513. >He is the one who needs to be taken care of.
  514. >The loss of blood must be going to his head.
  515. >But you don't listen.
  516. >Instead, you walk beside him, watching him the whole time.
  517. >He stares to the front, not looking down at you or saying anything.
  518. >You don't know what he's thinking, or what he's planning.
  519. >You are terrified at the thought of assuming the worse.
  520. >Ponyville is coming into view, and all you can do is watch as this series of events play out.
  521. --
  522. (Anon's PoV)
  523.
  524. >You're pretty beat up.
  525. >This pegasus kicked your ass pretty good.
  526. >He really wanted Fluttershy.
  527. >But you want her more.
  528. >If anything were to happen to Fluttershy, you would not be able to live with yourself.
  529. >Thankfully, the farthest it went was a mark on her face.
  530. >Her beautiful face.
  531. >You are super pissed that it even came to that.
  532. >You would have prefered it that nothing happened to her at all.
  533. >If only you had gotten there a minute earlier.
  534. >A minute later...
  535. >You don't even want to think about it.
  536.
  537. >You can see Fluttershy in your peripherals.
  538. >You don't have to look at her to know what she's thinking.
  539. >Her mind is probably racing about the horrible things you will do to this guy.
  540. >You won't do anything so severe as to kill him, but you are definitely not going to let this slide.
  541. >You're still trying to figure that part out anyways.
  542. >Better think fast, Ponyville's coming into view.
  543.
  544. >You could turn him in to the authorities.
  545. >Have them hang him high in the street for all the ponies to see.
  546. >But that's fucking morbid and nopony wants to see that.
  547. >Not even you.
  548. >Turning him into an outcast would only brew his anger and hatred.
  549. >He would no doubt return, so that's out of the question.
  550. >The best solution to this that you can think of that doesn't require violence would be just to simply throw him in jail.
  551. --
  552. >The pegasus groans in agony as you drag him by his tail into town.
  553. >His head bumping against the cobblestone road.
  554. >After a bit of thought, this in itself is pretty bad for your image.
  555. >Dragging an unconcious pony by his tail though town?
  556. >Almost makes you look like a brute.
  557. >All you're missing is a wodden club.
  558. >You lift the pony and throw him over your shoulder.
  559. >Regardless of whats transpired, and how much you hate him, you can't force him to suffer like that.
  560.
  561. >You are barely able to notice Fluttershy letting out a soft sigh.
  562. >She must have already been thinking you were giving in to your killer instincts.
  563. >She has no idea.
  564. >Several times you could have killed this pony.
  565. >And everytime, stopped yourself.
  566. >Although you came oh so close, you stopped.
  567. >As much as you just wanted to crush his little pony skull...
  568. >Just the thought makes your arms tense and you squeeze your fists as tightly as you can.
  569.
  570. >You hear Fluttershy 'Eep' and you relax.
  571. >There's no need to get her any more worried than she already is.
  572. >Not to mention stress her anymore today.
  573. >After her experience, you imagine she will want and need a great deal of counseling.
  574. >If not from you, then somepony at least.
  575. --
  576. >Now back to the situation at hand.
  577. >There's a bleeding, unconcious pony thrown over your shoulder.
  578. >Where would you take him?
  579. >The hospital would no doubt be a great start.
  580. >But none of you are exactly dying, so that can wait.
  581. >You are debating whether or not to hold him high in the town square and rile up the citizens.
  582. >But that could go 1 of 3 ways.
  583. >You could be labeled a savage, if you weren't already.
  584. >They could demand his blood and kill him.
  585. >Or they could do nothing.
  586. >Come to think of it, there are a hell of a lot more ways that could go.
  587. >Maybe it's best you don't think about it.
  588.
  589. >Should you turn him in, who would you give him to?
  590. >The Mayor?
  591. >She's just a figure head though.
  592. >She probably could get a posse or a police pony or guard to take him to a dungeon somewhere.
  593. >Then there's Twilight Sparkle.
  594. >She has a direct connection to the Princess.
  595. >But who knows how long it could take for a letter to reach her and for a contingent of guards to come back.
  596. >This is an extremely tough decision to make.
  597.
  598. >Lunch is almost over, so there's still a bunch of ponies roaming the streets.
  599. >Many of them gasp and stare when they see you carrying the bleeding pony over your shoulder.
  600. >You can hear the whispers.
  601. >Some of them asking if the pony was dead.
  602. >Some of them asking if you were gonna eat him.
  603. >And some wondering what exactly just happened.
  604. >You can swear you heard somepony vomit as well.
  605. >But none of this is of any concern to you.
  606. >All you want is justice and a fitting punishment for him, and also to send a message to anypony who might try this crap again.
  607. --
  608. >"Anonymous!"
  609. >You look over and spot Applejack running to you from her stall.
  610. >"Anon, what in tarnation happened here!" asked Applejack upon seeing th pony on your shoulder.
  611. "Hey Applejack, you wouldn't happen to have any rope on you, would you?"
  612. >"Well, uh, yeah. Behind mah stall. May Ah ask why?"
  613. "Would you please get it for me?"
  614. >Without another word, she runs to her stalls, grabs a coil of rope, and brings it back to you.
  615. >You set the pony down, grab the rope, and tie him up.
  616. >"Anon?" asked Applejack, worry in her voice and and expression.
  617. "Yeah?" you ask, finishing up your final knot.
  618. >"What happened to y'all?"
  619.
  620. >Fluttershy looked down and away from Applejack.
  621. >You leaned forward and whispered into Applejack's ear.
  622. >Her face become that of shock and fear.
  623. >Then quickly turning into anger and hate.
  624. >"Why that son of a..." she growled.
  625. >She kicked the dirt, as if she was gonna get ready to buck the pegasus in the face.
  626. >Before she could though, you lift him up and put him back on your shoulder.
  627. >"What're ya gonna with 'im Anon?"
  628. >You continue walking, Applejack and Fluttershy following behind you.
  629. "I'm still mulling it over. I'm torn between giving him up to the authorities, and some good ol' fashioned western justice.
  630. >"Ya mean like in Appaloosa?" asked Applejack.
  631. "Uh, probably, sure. Although I think I'll just hand him over to Twilight or the mayor."
  632. >"Ah think that would be the better choice, Anon," suggested Applejack.
  633. "Yeah, you're probably right."
  634. --
  635. "So who would I give him up to?"
  636. >"Ah dunno," responded Applejack. "That's a toughy."
  637. "Indeed."
  638. >"Twilight would hand him over to Princess Celestia. What she does to him, well, she'll probably banish him to the moon. Heheh... heh..." said Applejack, her nervous laugh quickly fading.
  639. "Hmm... yeah, probably not. The mayor can be the judge on this one. Start at the bottom and work up, right?"
  640. >"Sure thing, Anon," said Applejack. "I'll support you in any decision you make, sugarcube."
  641. "Thanks Applejack."
  642. >You look down towards Fluttershy, who had been listening to the whole conversation.
  643. "What do you think we should do Fluttershy?"
  644. >She looked up at you, caught off guard from being put on the spot like that.
  645. >"I- uh... I'll do what you want to do," she said.
  646. >You kind of saw that coming already.
  647. >You nod and make your way toward town hall.
  648.
  649. >You take a quick peek behind you to notice a small crowd of fearful ponies following the four of you.
  650. >You can't blame them for being so curious.
  651. >It's not everyday they would see something like this.
  652. >But you don't intend to draw anymore attention to yourself.
  653. >You pick up the pace to town hall.
  654. >Applejack and Fluttershy notice your change of pace and look behind them.
  655. >They see the crowd and immediately pick up on your intentions.
  656. >You are walking kind of fast, while they are trotting behind you.
  657. --
  658. >Finally making it to town hall, Applejack and Fluttershy run ahead of you, opening and holding the double doors for you.
  659. >You nod in thanks as you pass and enter the building.
  660. >The three of you enter the waiting area and you walk straight up to the secretary's desk.
  661. >She looks up at you with bored eyes, blowing a bubble with chewing gum.
  662. >She notices your bloody face, and the tied up pony on your shoulders.
  663. >Her bubble pops and she stares at you with a face that expresses shock and fear.
  664. "I need to see the mayor immediately," you tell her.
  665. >"I... uh... she's, uh... busy at the moment." she stammers out.
  666. >Applejack slams her forehoovs onto the desk.
  667. >"Confound it, miss! We need to see the mayor, NOW!" she demands.
  668. >"I'll, uh... check... to see if she's... in," she stammers and runs to the mayor's office door.
  669. >She pokes her head inside for a minute before returning to her post.
  670. >"The mayor will see you now," she tells you.
  671. "Thank you, miss."
  672.
  673. >Applejack trots over to the door and opens it for you and Fluttershy.
  674. >She follows you into the office as the two of you step through.
  675. >"Anonymous!" greets the mayor. "What brings you here?"
  676. >You walk over to her desk and drop the offending pony into one of the chairs.
  677. >Fluttershy claims the other chair, sliding hers away from her assailant's.
  678. >You stand behind the pegasus's chair, and Applejack next to you.
  679. --
  680. >"What is the meaning of this?" demands the mayor.
  681. "Well, as it turns out, this pegasus here has been harrassing Fluttershy for quite some time now. And only recently, tried to force himself upon her."
  682. >Fluttershy and the mayor looked up at you in shock and awe.
  683. >Fluttershy especially.
  684. >She never told you this.
  685. >How did you find out?
  686.
  687. >"I'm going to need more detail than that," said the mayor.
  688. "Very well then."
  689. >After explaining everything you knew about this orange pegasus and his intentions, you had the mayor cringing.
  690. >Applejack found a particular interest in your little fight scene.
  691. >The mayor was speechless, to say the least.
  692. >She finally looked to Fluttershy and mustered up the stomach to ask,
  693. >"Is this true?"
  694. >Fluttershy moved her bangs out of her face, revealing the mark the pegasus had left upon her.
  695. >"Yes," she whispered.
  696.
  697. >The mayor looked away, Applejack as well.
  698. >"I see," said the mayor. "I will make sure his transgressions are properly paid for, don't you worry."
  699. >"Well Ah sure hope so!" exclaimed Applejack. "We can't have these kinda ponies runnin' 'round and tryin' ta force themselves onto others like this! Ah mean, just look he did ta Anon!"
  700. >She pointed to you and your busted face.
  701. >"Yes," answered the mayor. "I will personally make sure of it."
  702. --
  703. "Will there be a trial?" you ask.
  704. >"There could be, but with this amount of overwhelming evidence, it would only be delaying his imprisonment."
  705. "Very well. We'll hold you to it. What would you like us to do with this guy?" you ask, placing your hand on the pegasus's shoulder.
  706. >"Take him to the other room," said the mayor. "My secretary can watch him until law enforcement can arrive."
  707. >You have an uneasy feeling leaving this guy alone with the secretary.
  708. >"Don't worry Anon," said Applejack, sensing your distress. "Ah'll help watch 'em."
  709. >You nod and pick up the pegasus, carrying him into the other room.
  710. >The mares followed.
  711.
  712. >"Alert law enforcement and get a few ponies over here to take this pegasus to jail," said the mayor to her secretary.
  713. >The secretary nodded and went to work writing a notice and sending it off with a carrier pidgeon.
  714. >You and Fluttershy thank Applejack for her help and leave her to guard the pegasus pony.
  715. >The two of you exit the building, but sit on the steps outside.
  716. >Neither of you say a word for a few minutes.
  717. "So..." you start. "Are you still up for our lunch date?"
  718. >Fluttershy smiled and nodded.
  719. >"That would be nice."
  720. --
  721. >You begin your walk to the diner.
  722. >You really need a new place to hang out for lunch.
  723. >You must go there once or twice a day.
  724. "Oh, wait a minute."
  725. >You bring a hand up to your face a wipe some of the still-wet blood from your face.
  726. "Yeah, that's probably not a good idea right now."
  727. >"Maybe Rarity can help?"
  728. "Yes, she can, actually."
  729. >"Huh? How do you know?"
  730. "What? Oh, nothing. Nevermind. Lets just go."
  731.
  732. >Fluttershy gave you a suspicious look, but followed you to the Carousel Boutique.
  733. >It was business hours, so you didn't need to knock.
  734. >The door bell alerted Rarity to a customer, and she called from the back room.
  735. >"Coming~!"
  736. >She walked into the foyer, and screamed when she saw your condition.
  737. >She galloped into the other room and brought out a first aid kit the size of a briefcase.
  738. >It wasn't that bad, was it?
  739. >You walk over and take a peek into a nearby mirror.
  740. >Holy fucking ass crackers!
  741.
  742. >Rarity magicked you by the shirt into the next room and sat you down in a chair.
  743. >She opened up her first aid kit and she and Fluttershy immediately got to work patching you up.
  744. >It's almost like they practiced this before.
  745. >They were speaking to each other and moving with the skill and precision of trained surgeons.
  746. --
  747. >Have they done this before?
  748. >Granted Rarity patched up you and Steelwing but-
  749. >HOLY FUCK THAT BURNS!!!
  750. >You shouted in pain as Rarity applied cotton balls soaked in rubbing alcohol to your open wounds.
  751. >Fluttershy had to try and hold you down as you bucked and kicked, trying to avoid the agonizing liquid.
  752. >"Quit being such a filly," said Rarity. "It's not that bad."
  753. >Your ass it's not that bad.
  754.
  755. >Thankfully, it was over as quickly as it started.
  756. >But the burning sensation lingered a little longer than you would've like.
  757. >The two mares proceeded to wrap you in gauze, and wrapped some ice packs underneath to help with the swelling.
  758. >You probably looked like a burn victim with all the bandages wrapped around your face.
  759. >"Now just change his bandages everyday for a week, and he should be fine after that," said Rarity to Fluttershy.
  760. >Fluttershy gave her an annoyed look.
  761. >She already knew this.
  762. >After all, she's probably the best pony who's not a doctor when it comes to first aid.
  763. >Rarity magicked a large coil of scrap cloth into a saddle bag and put it on Fluttershy.
  764. --
  765. >Rarity saw the two of you to the door, but before she waved you off, she had to ask.
  766. >"What exactly happened to you, Anon?"
  767. >You looked down to Fluttershy, who nodded at you.
  768. >You looked back to Rarity, and through the gap in your bandages, explained everything the best you could.
  769. >There were tears in Rarity's eyes before you got halfway through your story.
  770. >When you finally finished, she jumped up to you and hugged you, much to your discomfort.
  771. >A bandage-muffled groan of pain caused Rarity to release you.
  772. >"Whoops. Sorry about that," she said, embarassed.
  773.
  774. >"You are a real hero, Anonymous!" exclaimed Rarity. "To defend a mare's honor and innocence at risk of your own life and destruction of your own body..."
  775. >Rarity trailed off, tears forming in her eyes again.
  776. >You really don't like being called a hero.
  777. >There was nothing heroic about it.
  778. >Yeah, you saved Fluttershy from a horrific experience, and kicked the offender's ass and threw him in jail, but is that really heroic?
  779. >Maybe it's just the way you were explaining it.
  780. >Rarity gave you another painful hug before finally sending the two of you on your way.
  781. >"So..." started Fluttershy. "Should we just go home?"
  782. >You nod in response.
  783. >That was probably for the best.
  784. --
  785. >You walk through town and the ponies, some who hadn't saw you earlier, were questioning everything.
  786. >A lot of them ran up to the two of you, asking about what happened.
  787. >You promptly respond to each of them through your bandages,
  788. "Nothing."
  789. >Fluttershy followed your lead and was also telling everypony that it was nothing.
  790. >Of course, they refused to believe it.
  791. >One just doesn't get their whole face wrapped in bandages for nothing.
  792. >It wasn't even Nightmare Night yet.
  793.
  794. >In the crowd, watching you, you spot the brown earth pony.
  795. >You give him a deadpan stare as you pass.
  796. >His ears fold down, and he backs away.
  797. >After seeing the results of yours and his buddy's little altercation, he wants no part in this anymore.
  798. >You could probably try to get his ass thrown in jail as well.
