  1. >you are Joey
  2. >just doing your morning rounds of feeding and cleaning up the pens
  3. >you see Isaac sitting alone watching the other fluffies play
  4. >he’s been looking so sad lately but why?
  5. >he’s been here for nearly a year and a half you don’t think he remembers his old home do you?
  6. >fluffies memories only stretch back a few days don’t they?
  7. >well, maybe most but perhaps some?
  8. >maybe that’s why he’s so depressed
  9. >can fluffies commit suicide? Gosh you sure hope not
  10. >when you give his pen their breakfast you scratch behind his ear and he smiles
  11. >well at least simple fluffy joys can still bring a smile to his face
  12. >you tussle his mane and continue with the other pens
  13. >first you feed then you clean
  14. >you store the fluffy shit in a wheelbarrow that you fill up the take out the back door
  15. >you dump it outside near the other piles
  16. >there are several piles outside each from different times of the day and ones nearly up to your waist
  17. >these things shit a lot for little fur balls
  18. >you and hailey are in charge of bagging the appropriate piles to sell as fertilizer
  19. >your boss Mark pretty much uses fluffies in any way he can
  20. >you return indoors to now tend to the mares in the breeding room
  21. >the breeding room has two purposes, breeding obviously and housing the bred
  22. >when a mare is first bred she is returned to her pen so you don’t waste too much space in the room
  23. >you can tell if the breeding was successful in a little less than a week
  24. >after a week or less time she is returned to the room and put in somewhat of a dog kennel
  25. >each mare gets their own kennel, with food water and litter box
  26. >they are separated from other preganant mares for the same reason they get separated from the pen, cant risk damaging the merchandise
  27. >some fluffies are too rough sometimes or just get the shit kicked out of them and could cause the growing foals to die
  28. >its been about two weeks and the cutie mark crusaders order dams are swelling pretty good
  29. >they can still walk but they waddle more than ever now, looks more like a penguin shuffle
  30. >other order mares are in the room too
  31. >”babbehs kick! Mumma feew dem!” says one fluffy as she smiles and puts her hooves to her belly
  32. >babbehs come soon!” says another full blown swollen mother, kicking her legs uselessly as they no longer touch the ground
  33. > and she’s right, you wager either overnight or by tomorrow morning she’ll be done
  34. >you think she’s supposed to have a spitfire fluffy, here’s hoping
  35. >but Hans can usually get them right
  36. >some mares have already foaled and the foals run happily around the pen
  37. >one mother smiles as she watches her 4 tikes play with a ball hailey put in the pen
  38. >the important fluffy of the batch is someones OC pony order
  39. >it’s a dark blue fluffy with lighter blue mane, nothing special but that’s how most of these OC pony orders are
  40. >the babies are about a week old and come next week will be weening time
  41. >he will be separated from his family and Mark will work with him for about 5 days teaching his potty training and manners
  42. >Mark is extremely good at training for someone who neither loves nor hates them
  43. >on the sixth day, Mark’s friend will come in to give a tattoo of the cutie mark the customers OC pony has
  44. >he’s Chinese (at least you think he is, either way you cant understand him and he cant understand English and he has to use some translator on his smartphone) and has some sort of tattoo gun that he uses except it changes the color of the fluffy that grows there making the mark permanent
  45. >along with a custom order, potty/manner training and a cutie mark, Mark makes a real killing off OC orders
  46. >and to keep them coming without them dying *ahemRICKahem* Mark gives you each a 10% cut of the payment
  47. >with OC orders picking up and an average of $250-300 charge, you cant complain
  48. >the fluffy will most likely go to a loving home where it will live many years of a happy life with a loving owner………or at least until it drowns in a ridiculous way
  49. >it’s siblings are not so lucky
  50. >they must pass a get 3 chances
  51. >the first is if they are colorful/healthy enough, if they are then Hans will decide if they can be used as breeders and will live out the rest of their lives here
  52. >second is if the customer would like more if not the rest of the bunch, they rarely do
  53. >third and final chance, all foals from a every 2 weeks the foals that are still around are put up for display at one of Mark’s “adopto-mania”
  54. >Mark has the foals rounded up and brought to some major event in the city like a car dealership anniversary, a stock show , a circus, a fair, anywhere theres lots of people
  55. >since fluffy shots and vaccines are dirt cheap all the foals are vaccinated and puts in playpens full of toys
  56. >the cute little critters crawl around and play, all part of a ploy Mark uses to draw in customers
  57. >to really convince the parent Marks sells each for $1, a bed and litterbox for 5$ and 2 weeks worth of kibble for free
  58. >even with that deal Mark still breaks even or makes profit
  59. >after all 3 chances are gone the foals go to Rick
  60. >you don’t even wanna guess what happens to the poor guys
  61. >that’s why you hope this project you and Marty got going will pull through
  62. >you finish your chores in the breeding room and head outside to help Hailey with the poo processing
  63. >god damn she’s hot, you wanna put your weiner in that
  64. >she came along not too long after you and Rick did
  65. >she immediately saw you as a friend when you were kind to the fluffies while Rick was not so much
  66. >dammit you hate Rick, why does Mark keep him around anyway?
  67. >before you reach for your shovel you feel your pocket buzz
  68. >check your phone and see a text from Marty
  69. >”good news, loan came through, we may just pull this off after all”
  70. >you cant help but smile at the news
  71. >good, perhaps you can help the little guys after all
