- >You wake up in a bed, your cold feet tell you it's too small for your height.
- >Someone is standing over you with a damp cloth of you're forehead.
- "M-mom?"
- >"There, there. It's going to be fine. You just hit you're head is all."
- "I had the craziest dream."
- >You laugh a little in the dark room when you feel it.
- >A hoof is pressing down on your chest.
- "A... hoof?"
- >"Well of course dear, what else would a pony have?"
- >You close your eyes again and take in a deep breath.
- "Now when I open my eyes, I won't be dreaming anymore."
- >You open your eyes and find them staring at the poofy pink mane of a perplexed pink pony.
- >"Hi, I'm Pi-"
- "Pinkie Pie, yes I know you."
- >"-nkie Pie. What are you, and why are you here? You sure are a strange looking... thing?"
- >Here it comes, the endless stream of useless prattle that is Pinkie Pie.
- "Well, as of yet, I don't even know how I got here, and what I am is a Hu-."
- >"A Humming Bird? Silly-willie. You aren't a bird, you don't even have wings."
- "If you would let me finish, I was saying that I am a Human."
- >"A Human?"
- >Twilight Sparkle is standing by the doorway leading out.
- >"What is your name?"
- "My name is...."
- >You dig in your memories for your name.
- >"He has no cutie mark, just a blank flank."
- >Pinkie has pulled the covers back and it is around this time you notice that you are naked.
- >Pinkie giggles as you scramble to pull the covers over yourself.
- >Nurse Redheart's expression hasn't changed, but Twilight is blushing and smiling.
- >Pinkie Pie is giggling like mad.
- >You are just curled up in a ball, eyes wide as you try to remember you're name.
- "M-my name."
- >Silence fills the room as the ponies around you pick up on you're confusion.
- >"It's okay. I'm sure you'll remember it eventually!"
- >Pinkie's words do little to encourage you.
- >They mostly make you realize what it was you have lost.
- >Identity, some might say personality, and the core of your being.
- >A name.
- >It dawns on you that you have none.
- >You came here as a blank slate. A... Blank Flank, as Pinkie put it.
- "My name was my identity, and now I have none...."
- >Twilight comes forward and rests her hoof on your shoulder, attempting to make you feel better.
- "I suppose you can call me Anonymous."
- >You let out a sigh and roll onto you're back again.
- >Staring at the roof as Nurse Redheart forces the other ponies out of the room.
- "I've lost control of my life."
- >"Tell me about it. They won't let me leave this damn room."
- >You jump at the other ponies voice.
- >You thought you had this room alone.
- >A plum colored hoof reaches around the dividing cloth wall and pulls it back.
- >You see her lying there, a sour look on her face and her mulberry mane in disarray.
- >Berry Punch, the alcoholic of Ponyville is your hospital-mate.
- >"Oh, you're not what I expected...."
- "I don't know how to respond to that."
- >Berry Punch shrugs and goes back to laying on her back, staring at the roof.
- >The silence of the neighboring pony is getting annoying.
- "You here cause you drank too much or something?"
- >"Yeah. This happens pretty much weekly to me."
- >You laugh and sit up, sliding back against the wall to cover your feet in the short bed.
- "I'm here cause I got drunk too."
- >You shake your head at the thought of how you ended up here and laugh a little.
- >You feel something land on the bed next to your hand.
- >You pick it up and hold it up.
- >A Flask.
- >"From my special reserve."
- >You hold the flask up in salute and she does the same.
- "Cheers"
- >"What?"
- "Never mind...."
- >You both tip the flask back and drink deep.
- >The purplish liquid hits your tongue and you regret the decision to drink immediately.
- >You hardly got a sip before you started coughing like mad.
- "Dear lord, this is strong."
- >Berry Punch downed her whole flask and produced another one from somewhere and laughs at you.
- >"Aw, come now. Ya jus' gotta get used ta it s'all."
- >You shrug and take another sip, this one not as bad as the first now that you know what to expect.
- >After what feels like a very short time, you are pretty far gone.
- >That was some powerful stuff.
- >Berry Punch and you are laughing hysterically, you forgot what was funny, but it was funny.
- >You come in and out of coherence.
- >And finally, you black out.
