1. There are 24 main matches a season with 6 losers matches that happen after every forth match. There are also many side games to pad the time between these matches.
2. For main matches, characters have to be /co/-related. Some animes are allowed, but only if they have aired on Toonami. Take note that all kinds of franchises have official /co/ adaptions if you want to nominate something that isn't /co/ in origin, but still might be relevant to /co/.
3. Each character gets two chances in the main matches and two in the losers matches. If a character makes it into the top three of a main match or the top four of a losers match, the character cannot get into any more main matches or losers matches.
4. Hosts have to announce the times for nominations ahead of time. Names and tripcodes can be used, but they are not necessary; the best way to gain trust is to deliver at all in the first place.
5. For main matches and losers matches, characters will have to be named along with their sources. This makes it easier to identify if they count as being /co/-related or not. This is also obligatory for sidegames and off-season matches.
6. When it comes to webcomics, webmangas (webcomics that are Japanese in origin) do not count. A webcomic will count if it is an actual series of comics by one or more artists/authors, not just some random one-off comic that is found wherever. Basically, if you can't name the title of it and it's not a series, it probably won't count.
7. In-season, game times begin on Friday night (usually around 8-9 PM EST) and end on Sunday nights. During the off-season there are usually no Friday threads.
