[17:24] <Anderson_Larhall>  he asked before standing and dropping a tip on the cafe owners counter before returning, his coffee thrown in the garbage empty.

[17:26] <Rinato_Cenere> "Well, I'm stayin' at this motel shoved in between alleys, just a short walk from here. I figure it's a pretty hidden place. Ain't sayin' much since I already got here, though."

[17:30] *Jerome_Miller* the real estate agent set you up with a converted warehouse in the waterfront

[17:31] <Jerome_Miller> My agent found this converted warehouse not far from here.

[17:32] <Anderson_Larhall> He frowns at the two, pursing his lips and looking dubious, its a little too convenient in his eyes but shakes his head and sighs, its a different place, no need to worry about these things here. “sure why not, I will probably need some space.”

[17:32] <Jerome_Miller> I'm heading there right now, if you guys want to follow, feel free!

[17:33] <Jerome_Miller> I'm Jerome Miller by the way, just got here from Quebec and I must say, the temperature is MUCH better! haha

[17:33] <Rinato_Cenere> "Sounds like a cool place to hang out, but I'm not gonna be lyin' down to sleep there. I already have a reservation at some motel nearby. Gonna check it out with you guys, sure." Rinato says, as he drops a tenner in the table, thinking it'll cover the bell.

[17:34] <Rinato_Cenere> "Name's Rinato Cenere. Hailin' from La Italia, true"

[17:34] <Jerome_Miller> Jerome hands money to the barman and heads out the door.

[17:35] <@lumiel> back out in the wharf again, the warehouse it north of here about 2 blocks

[17:35] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato follows Jerome, holding his headphones to his left ear.

[17:36] <Jerome_Miller> Making sure that the other two are following, Jerome heads straight for the warehouse.

[17:36] <Anderson_Larhall> Anderson Follows after giving the two his second name, he followed closely behind “I’ll take a nap in the warehouse, no point wasting money on a motel, you sure this is legit?” he asks as they moved.

[17:38] <Jerome_Miller> Sure, I'm not exactly rolling on money since I basically threw my old job away so I take all the help I can get...

[17:38] <Jerome_Miller> Jerome mutters to himself: No way I'm fucking going back there.

[17:38] <Rinato_Cenere> "That sounds real fuckin' sketchy, dude, no offense."

[17:39] <Jerome_Miller> Well, can't say I don't understand how you feel...

[17:40] <@lumiel> After a short walk you come to the warehouse the agent set up. This old brickwork warehouse is two stories high and has a large steel shutter, door and a small window out front and one door in the back. White Weather-beaten paint on the top right side of the building reads "Helvetica Std"

[17:41] <Rinato_Cenere> "Sweet. Let's open the sucker up"

[17:41] <Jerome_Miller> Jerome takes out the key he got from the agent and opens the door

[17:43] <@lumiel> Inside is a two story common area and sky light, stairs leading to the second floor,  either side of the first and second floors are lined with doors, 3 on each and a small hall that leads to the back, the previous owners have left a manky brown sofa and radio that sits atop a shoddy table in the common area.

[17:44] <Jerome_Miller> Well, this isn't... Perfect

[17:44] <Jerome_Miller> I guess it will have to do for a while!

[17:45] <Anderson_Larhall> “Better than I was expecting, no goons waiting to jump me” he says aloud to no one in particulate “dibs on the top floor” he tells the group before scaling the stares to check out the rooms.

[17:45] <Rinato_Cenere> "I guess." Rinato says as he tries the old radio.

[17:47] <Jerome_Miller> Jerome follows Anderson and checks out the rooms, picking a one with plenty of space for himself.

[17:47] <@lumiel> each room has a window and not much else, in one of the room you find some cots and woolen blankets. One room on each floor has a small bathroom in it.

[17:48] <@lumiel> The radio comes to life and you hear...

[17:48] <@lumiel> Coming at you this fine afternoon with a popular track courtesy of Cavalcade Chateau. I’m guessing most of you have heard this one already, but Sun Jump Radio has no prejudice! Mainstream or not, this is a song worthy of echoing through the streets of Velo City!

[17:53] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato listens to the tunes while he unpacks his stuff. He roots through miscellaneous stuff and digs out his skates. They're beat up and old, the wheels a mismatch of colors and models.

[17:54] <Rinato_Cenere> While the other guys are checking out the place, he puts on his wheels and tries them out inside the common area, just rolling around the floor, testing if they still spin well.

[17:54] <Jerome_Miller> So you are a skater huh?

[17:55] <Rinato_Cenere> "Yeah. Grew up riding on these since I have memory."

[17:56] <Rinato_Cenere> "You have wheels too?"

[17:57] <Anderson_Larhall> Anderson Dumps his rucksack and shoulder bag on the ground of one of the top floors room, he shoves on some grip shoes and his gloves before leaning over the balcony overlooking the common area, he smirks and hangs there with one hand lowering himself down to the next level without using the stars.

[17:57] <Anderson_Larhall> “skater eh? Plenty of them back home, mostly a bunch of punks, but you look cool.”

[17:57] <Jerome_Miller> I'm a dabbling skateboarder

[17:58] <Rinato_Cenere> "So, a boarder, and from that sick move you just pulled I'm guessin' you're a runner?"

[17:59] <Anderson_Larhall> “Climber mostly, used to get into some pretty sore spots for people trying to keep me out.” he tells them crouched on the edge of the first floors ledge.

[17:59] <Anderson_Larhall> “don't get me wrong though, I can keep up with the best of them.” he tells them with a smirk, they both hear a flick and the sound of flint and see him lighting up above them.

[18:00] <Jerome_Miller> Pretty slick moves you got there Anderson!

[18:02] <Rinato_Cenere> "Heh. You're pretty fast, alright."Rinato adjusts his orange beanie, covering his forehead, showing only the bottom half of his face from the eyes down. "Can you really keep up with actual wheels, though?""

[18:03] <Anderson_Larhall> “I just dropped down, its nothing fancy, just wait till you see me leaping buildings and Bus surfing, i doubt you can keep up with somone who can move in a straight line through and over an entire city.” he tells them with  chuckle before falling silent “go on, keep talking about your blades, I'm just killing time till I can go pick up the rest of my stuff.”

[18:14] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato slings his arm over the shoulder of Jerome, a grin on his face. "Heh, that's the spirit! What about you, Anders?"

[18:17] <Anderson_Larhall> “Been a while since I last did anything just to show off. Why not.” he stood quietly and then leapt down, doing a small roll as he lands to ease the landing before standing and crossing his arms “where's a good spot do you think? If its one thing I know, you can't just show up to a public place and take it for your own without attracting attention, we need to scope out the

[18:18] <Rinato_Cenere> "Yeah, some scoutin' would be a good idea. What do you say we go cruisin' over to downtown to scope out the place?"

[18:20] <Rinato_Cenere> "West side of Velo's only got ports, warehouses and smog spewers. So what do you say we go on over to Midtown?"

[18:21] <Anderson_Larhall> He doesn't reply but starts off towards the doorway, leaving it open behind him for the two others.

[18:21] <Anderson_Larhall> “First one to midtown doesn't pay rent for the month” he shouts behind him, as he sprints towards the closest building in the direction of midtown.

[18:21] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato laughs. "It's fuckin' on, I'm broke as shit!"

[18:21] <@lumiel> Buses run all around the city, and go more places the the subway, but its slower. The Subway runs under Velo City and under the roads on the bridges and is the fastest way to get between west, central and east Velo.but only stop at a few places in each.

[18:22] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato sprints off in his skates towards the nearest subway station.

[18:23] <Rinato_Cenere> He emerges from the warehouse. What's the area look like, and where's the subway?

[18:23] <Jerome_Miller> At least wait for me to lock the goddamn door!!

[18:24] <Jerome_Miller> Dropping his board to his feet, Jerome kicks out of the warehouse, making sure to lock the door on his way out!

[18:24] <@lumiel> Looking around you see a subway sign about 500 meter from the warehouse, and a bus stop and the end of the street

[18:26] <Anderson_Larhall> Anderson smirks, it was just like back home, he climbed up  a stop sign and waited a few moments before leaping onto a moving bus, sitting on its roof as he waited for to take him where he wanted, planning to leap from bus to keep moving.

[18:27] <Rinato_Cenere> Rinato speeds along the wharf. Spying a nice rail along the edge, he jumps to it and attempts to grind it.

[22:18] <Anderson_Larhall> “Call it what you want but you guys lost, so did I for that matter, but the guy deserved the win, take it on the chin or fuck off.” he tells the group crossing his arms and baring their path.

[22:19] <Rinato_Cenere> Using stored momentum (29), adding 10 energy bonus to it for 39, and activating his Perk: Burning Adrenaline, Explosive Flair. For 10 energy, He'll add one more degree of success to his Style, which he'll add to the roll for 44 total.

[22:20] <@lumiel> "you'll regret this" he says as he hands the $50 over and starts his way down

[22:21] <Jerome_Miller> Well, this sure went better than what I expected!

[22:21] <Rinato_Cenere> You can almost see the burn marks his skates leave on the smokestack. He does one final jump from it and lands with his body on the catwalk. He gets up and pumps his fist into the air. "Oraaa!!"

[22:22] <Anderson_Larhall> Anderson leans against the wall waiting for rinato to finish showing off “Very very pretty! We should probably clear off and get something to eat.” he shouts up a smile on his lips as he waits for rinato to come down.
