- The locks of the doors and windows hissed as they slid into place, barring any entry into the room. Wesselton breathed heavily, reclining in his seat. He tapped a button on his desk, the cheap fluorescent lights flickering into life.
- It wasn't supposed to be like this.
- The room was eerily silent, not a single soul nearby. But Wesselton knew that she was somewhere in here. He tried to slow his breathing, make himself less conspicuous. The footsteps were all he needed to know that wasn't happening. Maybe if he stacked his books up, hid his figure, he could buy some time. The guards could get here, subdue the girl.
- And then the banging began. It wasn't powerful, or even loud, but each thump made his heart skip a beat. Each strike covered the door in more ice. Wesselton whimpered, ever so slightly, as cracks began to show in the ice. Then small holes, enough to see her eye. A glowing, neon blue, shining through the dark. With three more strikes, the door crumbled into crystal fragments, giving a dull glow in the lights of the room.
- Each step of hers was slow and deliberate, a pool of icy shards forming around her feet. Her voice, monotone and cold, cut through the silence, the sheer bluntness of it piercing through any defenses Wesselton had prepared.
- "You die today."

- "C'mon Kris, these highways are boring!" Anna moaned, leaning on Kristoff's shoulder, as he drove down the desert roads.
- "I told you A, this road is the quickest." Kristoff responded, eyes on the road even with the slowly rising sun shining down on them. The light bounced off of Anna's glasses, giving her eyes a light glimmer.
- "Aww, please? Not even for me?" Anna made the cutest face she could muster, and though Kristoff gave a glance, he quickly focused on the road once more.
- "Nope." he said bluntly. Anna sighed and sat back in her seat, pouting. The drive was, as Anna had said, largely uneventful, with only the morning sun to keep the couple company. It had been at least an hour until Anna spied a figure on the side of the road.
- "Kris, stop the car!" Anna demanded suddenly. By instinct, Kristoff slammed down on the brakes, the car skidding slightly as Anna opened the door and leapt out, running to the figure.
- The mysterious figure could hear her approach, and began to speed up. Anna managed to catch up to the figure, grabbing them by the shoulder, ice-cold to the touch. The figure turned around, her platinum-blonde hair obscuring most of her face. Anna took a step back in shock.
- "E-Elsa?"
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Elsa sat at a small table, a purple, cheap-looking plastic thing that wobbled whenever she rested her arms on it. The lime-green chair was very much the same, as well as being a bit too small for her. Anna sat opposite her, chewing on an, as expected, cheap-looking burger. Kristoff had disappeared into the arcade, gazing into some screen with an oversized plastic gun in hand. Last Elsa saw of him, he was getting quarters back from the manager.
- "So..." Anna began, looking at Elsa between bites of her burger. Elsa stayed silent, a scarf wrapped around her face, and Kristoff's old jacket around her body. "Where... what happened to you? After the company was taken over by that Hans fella, I didn't see you at all."
- "...I don't want to talk about it." Elsa replied bluntly. Anna looked mildly shocked, reaching over to place her hand on Elsa's. Elsa simply withdrew her arms, letting them droop by her sides, covered by the massive jacket.
- "Come on Els, I'm your sister, you can tell me... right?"
- "Some things are better left unsaid."
- "Even to your nearest and dearest?" Anna said, with an almost pleading look.
- "I just can't say right now... or ever. At least in public... or private either."
- "This isn't funny, Elsa!" Anna shouted, slamming the table. The crowds around the pair were beginning to stare. Elsa retreated further into the jacket, covering most of her head with it as well now.
- "I'm not joking. But I can't say any more." Elsa responded firmly, in that sisterly tone that Anna couldn't help but hate. Both leaned back in their seats, glaring at one another.
- They sat like that for almost an hour.
