  1. >At last, she had done it!
  2. >She had eluded Celestia's goons
  3. >Made off with the Tome of the Flameseeker
  4. >And now, she had completed the ritual and bathed in the blood of the a hundred dragons and now baptized herself in flames
  5. >The fires burned and seared her hide, she wanted to scream but she endured
  6. >She had come too far for this
  7. >another pain stirred inside her flesh, inside her bones and broke her stoic mask
  8. >"It hurts! Some one! Anyone! Help me! Celestia, I'm sorry! I was wrong! PLEASE SAVE ME!"
  9. >She cried, she screamed, she begged, and pleaded for a savior, then for a simple end to her torment
  10. >The pain of the ritual would warp her mind as well as her body
  11. >From out the lava's surface, an orange claw broke and cracked the volcanic rock, dragging up the draconic, hybrid body with it
  12. >Born from flames and blood, the being once known as sunset shimmer howled to renounce her former race
  13. >"I!"
  14. >"AM!"
  15. >"THE DRAGON QUEEN!"
  16.
  17. >She stood amongst them
  18. >Before them
  19. >Above them
  20. >"Dragons of Equestria, rise and hear your new queen! I Sunset Shimmer, The new bearer of the Flameseeker mantle and the keeper of the draconomicon! You will yield to me!"
  21. >The dragons rose their head from the volcanic rock to briefly find the source of who disturbed their migration rest
  22. >And just as soon lowered their heads in disinterest
  23. >"HOW DARE YOU IGNORE YOUR QUEEN! I AM YOUR PATH TO GREATN-AHHHH!"
  24. >She was quickly shut up when a powerful blast of hot hair sent the draconified unicorn tumbling from the air and slamming onto the mountainside
  25. >"Those insolent fools! How dare they- Wow, actually listening to myself I really do sound kind of ridiculous."
  26. >"And totally lame!"
  27. >She was surrounded by dragons, smaller, younger, adolescent dragons wearing a condescending smirk.
  28. >"You think you're one of us, but you're not! You're just another namby pamby pony come to crib off the coolest on this planet."
  29. >She was not amused or intimidated in the slightest, but decided to humor them
  30. >"Well how do you propose I gain the worship of the dragons?"
  31. >The red one stepped forward with a lecherous smirk
  32. >"Well, maybe not worship but you can raise yourself to the position of the clan bicycle."
  33. >She felt a hand on her rump and moving towards her cleft and just smirked
  34. >"I have a better idea..."
  35. >A flare of magic and ever young dragon in the area doubled over in pain
  36. >"I think what I needed was to just work with a much younger crowd."
  37. >A trembling albino dragon cause Shimmer's eye and with ethereal chains she pulled him forward.
  38. >Perhaps it was her new, partially draconic anatomy, but there was something about this dragon that aroused her
  39. >"You, what's your name?"
  40. >"F-Fizzle."
  41. >"Well every good queen needs a king, up for a bit of a political marriage?"
  42. >"Just please make the hurting stop and I'll do anything you say"
  43. >"I can tell you were an ideal husband before I had to even break you in."
  44.
  45. >Dozens of young dragons stood shoulder to shoulder, bound in ethereal shackles, salivating at the massive fire ruby set before them
  46. >But not one dared to move
  47. >Not when HER orders had been clear
  48. >Not when the occasional dead body amongst them testified of what became of those who defied HER
  49. >Fizzle looked on this from a distanced and nervously asked his Queen "Say, Shimmer, is this really necessary to, uh... Why are you doing this?"
  50. >"Operant Conditioning." She answered, fizzle still unsure what she even meant
  51. >"right, well, does it really have to condition like this? I mean these are my friends."
  52. >Sunset Shimmer then looked up at her designated King with an expression that read 'seriously?'
  53. >Immediately, Fizzle remembered being the bottom of the social totem pole, being the butt of every joke, insulted behind his back and to his face, his own horde regularly being raided and withdrew that defense
  54. >"Well they're still good dragons, they don-"
  55. >The Albion dragon cut himself off and thought of everything his 'friends' had done to eachother, other races, and even older dragons
  56. >"Okay, yeah, they deserve this."
  57. >"I think they deserve a little bit more. And it's time they learn to respect you as their king."
  58. >The chained dragons suddenly noticed the familiar face of Fizzle approaching them, made strange by his confident smile
  59. >He leisurely passed his enervated peers who went wild with pleads and begs to be set free when they saw the chain rune in one claw and several large gemstones in the other
  60. >"Now now! Everyone can little food, but first..."
  61. >Fizzle's eyes set on his chief tormenter
  62. >"Garble, tell me... Why am I awesome?"
  63. >The red dragon became incredulous
  64. >"What? How can a faggot like you ever be considered awesome?"
  65. >CHOMP!
  66. >Fizzle ate one of the gemstones
  67. >"Well why don't you tell me what made you so much cooler than me?"
  68. >Garble was starting to feel a few worried stares towards him
  69. >"Uh, well, you could have been, you know, less... You and more like me?"
  70. >CHOMP! and another gemstone vanished
  71. >"I don't think you're getting this, Garble. Let's try this one last time. Shall we?"
  72. >The worried stares turned to glares
  73. >"Garble, get on your knees and bow to me! Bow to your king!"
  74. >Under the weight of Fizzle's now aggressive presence as well as the burning stares of his fellow dragons, the red dragon lowered one knee, shaking
  75. >"I can't!"
  76. >Garble stood up
  77. >"You're still the same fag you've always been! You're only where you are because when that freakpony wanted a bitch, she found the biggest bitch of all in you!"
  78. >Fizzle seemed unfazed and with a deft motion of his hand, there were no more gems
  79. >"Well... That was delicious! If only I could have shared that with someone. Oh, well!"
  80. >As Fizzle walked back to his grinning pony mistress, he heard Garble come under the angry assault of his own, former friends
  81. >It's good to be king
  82.
  83. >Her fledgling court was growing exceptionally
  84. >Fear brought them under her, but conditioned loyalty made them stay
  85. >Still, Sunset Shimmer's court felt strangely incomplete
  86. >Empty
  87. >Inside
  88. >"No..." She whispered as she felt an ache in her stomach and her draconic aspect clawing at her instincts
  89. >The onset of heat had been making itself clear for days, she had just been able to ignore it
  90. >But the urge, the desire to feel life inside of her-
  91. >"No! I am their queen! I am above such base instincts!"
  92. >"Well, your Majesty, mind telling your king what's on your mind?"
  93. >Fizzle stepped into Shimmer's chambers, blithely chewing on some enormous gemstone, not noticing his queen's gaze
  94. >"You alright, Sunset? You been kind of spacey for the past few days? You're normally pretty focused."
  95. >He was her king as she was his queen.
  96. >She stepped forward with a lecherous smile
  97. >"Uh, Sunset, you listening to me?"
  98. >It's only natural, it was the missing part of their court afterall
  99. >"Sunset? Hello! Earth to-, uh.. You're starting to creep me out with that slow, predatory stock towards me and half-lidded eyes-whoa!"
  100. >They needed their own prince or princess
  101. >"Holy! This is new but I can't complain!"
  102. >Preferably both
  103. >"Lemme show you something, sunset."
  104. >Or a dozen of each
  105. >She definitely could learn to enjoy making them
