  5. TBRK:  "Hey!  Sorry I surprised you like that...it's just...wow, I've never seen a doe with wings before!  Or such a pretty colourful coat!  Or such strong legs!  Where are you from?  Are there other does with wings?"

  7. The young colt is practically bouncing up and down with excitement as he looks up at Fluttershy, who is still hanging from the branch, and pelts her with questions.  She calms down and loosens up a bit upon seeing what it is, and flutters gently to the ground.

  9. FSHY: "Oh my, um...actually, I'm not a deer.  I'm a pony.  And um, aren't you..."

  11. She contemplates his horns for a moment, and suddenly gasps in shock

  13. FSHY: "Oh my gosh, what are you doing out here?  Your parents must be worried sick!  Oh my oh my, we need to get you back over there right away!  Oh gosh, I hope they don't get mad at me..."

  15. Fluttershy fusses and runs around in a panic trying to gather up her saddlebag again.  Treebark gazes at her incredulously as she runs around, then he speaks up

  17. TBRK: "Hey, it's no big deal.  We wander around all the time.  As long as all the fawns get back before the sun goes down, they let us run around wherever we want!  Besides, I can take care of myself.  These antlers aren't just for show, heheh..."

  21. FSHY: "Oh...well, I suppose if it's alright with them...but um, why did you follow me all the way out here?"

  23. TBRK: "Because I've never seen a pony before!  Those wings are so cool!  Do all ponies have wings?  Hey, what are those things by your tail?  They look like butterflies!  Do all ponies have butterflies instead of spots like Does have?"

  79. BUCK TWO: You lie. We saw you at the clearing, about to pounce on those helpless fawns.
  80. SPIKE: Pounce?! My friends and I just wanted to see some deer, not cause any problems. We were trying not to scare them.
  81. BUCK TWO: Your friends? Since when do dragons have pony friends?
  82. SPIKE (pauses): Since me, I guess. All my friends are ponies. I don't really know any other dragons. I mean, I've met some, but things didn't go so well...
  83. TREEBARK (off screen): Tell me, what do dragons eat?
  84. BUCK ONE: Treebark, stay back! Dragons are dangerous. Look at it's fangs and claws!

  86. TREEBARK COMES INTO VIEW. TURNS OUT HE'S A PONY WITH TWIGS STRAPPED TO HIS HEAD TO LOOK LIKE A YOUNG BUCK.

  88. TREEBARK (to Buck One): I can see that, but this one looks like it's just a baby. (to Spike) I'm asking you again, what do dragons eat?
  89. SPIKE: Gemstones, mostly. I like rubies best, but sapphires are delicious, too.
  90. TREEBARK: So dragons don't eat deer?
  91. SPIKE (shocked): Eat them? I've never even met a deer before.
  92. TREEBARK: You have now. I'm Treebark.
  93. SPIKE: I'm Spike. Pleased to meet you. (looks at the bucks in a puzzled manner) I think.
  94. TREEBARK (to the bucks): I got this, guys. (to Spike) C'mon, Spike, let me show you around Whitetail Woods.
