- Boar: The Boar are a brutish and warlike race, driven by their devotion to their earth god (whose name is a well kept secret). They represent a larger presence in the Outer Kingdoms than within Celestia's Influence and they are infamous for their ruthlessness and history of unprovoked conflict, internal and external.
- Buffalo: Buffalo roam and stampede accross the Mild West and are a tribal race. Their leader is a cheiftain and the tribe is very loyal, doing what ever the cheif commands without question. They have a complex oral history, in which events that might seem fantastic to others are intertwined in historical fact. Notably, this involves some amount of ancestor worship, and the involvement of "white buffalo" which have magical abilites and usualy are born before times of great change.

- Hybrids: There are a variety of hybrid races in the Known World; the most common being Longmas (Dragon + Equine) and Hippogryphs (Griffin + Equine).
- Viewed as disgusting and sometimes mutant, there is much stigma associated with being a hybrid, particularly within the Celestine Empire. For this reason, many of them shy away from the spotlight, even flee West, to places where Hybrids are better tolerated (like Vaporia).
- Ibex: +2 wisdom/charisma
- The ibex are natura magi and the weakest in the class. Often, to make up for their shortcoming, they specialize in a subset of the core elements. The most common being metal, wood, steam or ink. Otherwise, they can choose to forgo magic for spirituality by pursuing qigong often as a basis for their martial art, Ib'quan.
- Kirin: The noble Kirin (aka Qilin) are chimerical creatures said to have descended from ancient carnivorae ancestry (feline), equines, and Fire/Frost dragons. They are the only race native to the Old World to frequent the Celestine Empire.
- Otherwise, few are still around, but they usually consort with the Llama or the Ibex. It is suspected that Emperor Xe (of Ib'xian) is a Kirin, since he has never been seen fully uncovered in public and has been witnessed using magic beyond the capacity of most Ibex.

- Penguin: A race of aquatic birds living in Frigus.
- Tapiri: The Tapiri are a superstituous and passive race. They are humble, reserved and call themselves the 'Pilgrims of Salamat' - named after their goddess of the void.
- Their homeland is in the Outer Kingdoms, nearest to the border of the Old World.
- Wolves: Little is known about the wolves. They are depicted in legend as monsters and demons, often cruel and cunning. Of any other race among the Lost, the wolves are the only race confirmed to still exist within the known world.
- Their tendency to be cryptic and elusive doesn't help their reputation.

They are respected and feared for their resourcefulness and greed.

- Deer +3 dexterity +2 charisma improved natural ability to run, jump, swim
- The deer are regal and proud race, said to have descended from the God King himself. Unlike the elk, the deer are not averse to travel and can usually be found anywhere– mainly (but not exclusively) in temperate climates.
