'Procrastination' excerpt:
Her eyes went wide with horror as she gagged on him. His tongue slurped out of her throat, out of her mouth. It undulated, nearly a foot long and prehensile, dripping with saliva as he eyed her hungrily.
The whites of his eyes had gone black as night, while his dark brown irises had turned a luminescent, greedy golden. She realized that whatever was pinning her down, staring at her, was no longer entirely her love.
He forced his tongue into her again, twisting and pulsing it. Her throat felt warm and numb after a few seconds, as if something in his saliva was affecting her. She tried to pry her hands loose, but the thing on top of her was stronger than he had ever been.
"...Honey, I don't know what's happening," he whimpered after withdrawing. "I read something and now I understand, but, I don't. I...can't think. I think I'm going to have to do things to you, and I think it might hurt, but you'll understand when I'm finished. Becoming, whatever it is I'm about to be."
"The glyphs, they said I'd change, I'd be...MORE. And you'd be lucky. To be chosen to experience what I'm becoming, bringing back into the world."
He raised his hands, no longer pale and human, but turning a light red color, lengthening. The last joints on his fingers had swollen, and his nails had curved and retracted back into the muscle like claws. Seemingly stunned, his claws slid out, and he gently pricked up the bottom of her t-shirt.
With an inhuman quickness, he ripped her shirt in half, baring her round belly and small breasts in less than a second. She tried to scream in fear, but the strange warmness in her throat froze it before she could breathe.
Sympathetic, he stated, "The glyphs...told me...my kiss was powerful. That it would...warm, inflame, you." She couldn't believe the words he was saying, but it was right. Her tongue suddenly licked at the air, and her lips ached at every breath. They WANTED him back.
