- Hi! My name is Isaac Clarke, I'm 16 years old and I live with my mom and dad, well my dad isn't around a lot though, he's always has to go away on work, and well, my mom spends most of her time doing at church, it's something to do with making people holes? So I spend most of my time by myself. Anyway! I'm studying to become an engineer at my high school USG Ishimura and today is my first day and I'm going to be LATE..?!
- I quickly grab a piece of toast, put it in my mouth, snatch my school bag and rush out the door. As I speed round the corner, I get the feeling that everything is going to be great. "My name is Isaac Clarke and I'm going to be the greatest engineer ever!" I take a jump into the air, I feel the air sawing around me as I suspend my gravitational mass with my leg muscles.
- I had to run otherwise I would miss the early Maglift train and which means I would have wait for a whole hour! I tried to eat the toast in my mouth but it isn't really easy if you are trying rush past the crowds so I could get that train.
- *WACK* was the sound of my head hitting something hard. I fell back onto my ass.
- "Owwwwwch, watch where you are going you baka!" said a female voice. I looked up, see her brown hair and her blue eyes. "Um, I could say the same for yourself." I said as I got up, I offered her a hand to help her up. "Ugh, I don't need anyone's help. Just stay out of my way you baka." She stood up, I notice that she had a Titan Station High School badge. "Hey, do you go to TSHS?" I asked out of curiosity. I asked out of curiosity. "What's it to you?" her eyes narrow as she asks. "Oh, well I go to USG Ishimura." I didn't really know why I was making conversation with her as I was late...
- >What do /tg/?
- >keep talking
- >run to school so you can get the maglift
- >other
- "Oh, right." She said, the lack of interest was clearly in her voice you could tell. You opened up your RIG to check the time, 0758! You've got to hurry or you are going to be late. "Sorry, I've got to go otherwise I'm going to be late! What's your name by the way?" You asked as you began to turn around to sprint to the Maglift. "Ellie! It's Ellie Langford!" she said, you gave her a quick smile before replying back with your name, "My name is Isaac Clarke!" She was already walking away by the time you had finished saying your name.
- You see the tall spire getting closer as you run to the transit building below, it's very crowded. You see the Maglift that you want is about to leave. You quickly approach the boarding gate. You can see there is one more space for you left on the Maglift. Just before you could step on the barrier in front locks and the guard says: "Sorry kid, no more room."
- >disagree with guard and point out that there is room
- >agree with guard and say you will wait for the next one
- >other
- "But I NEED to get to school!" You say to the guard, he stops. Well, everything. He literally freezes as if his whole existence begins to warp around that one sentence. He begins to stutter: "Oh, um sorry kid for that. I don't know what came over me. Here, take 50 credits as an apology. He hits a button on the barrier and lets you through, much to the disgruntlement of everyone else behind out. He asks you if you want him to do anything else for you. He seems to be in a very suggestible state.
- >say no thanks
- >ask him that you want to sit in the cockpit
- >other
- "No thanks."
- He leaves the now full Maglift. You take your seat and pull down the restraints tightly down onto your body. The Maglift's VI begins going on about a safety brief, you don't really care. You begin to drift off in your own thoughts until the Maglift jerks as the breaks let go and the motors take over to push it up into the sky. You feel a little tired and start to drift off. You begin to wake to the noise of the VI speaking: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are beginning our final approach to... USG Ishimura High School, please ensure you have all belonging with you as anything item is not claim on disembarkation will be destroyed for your safety." You check your RIG, it shows the time is 0905. Somehow you've made an hour's journey in less then five minutes. Now thanks your magical speed you have 25 minutes till class, that's plenty of time to kick around. You step off the Maglift. You can see dozens of people going about their daily life moving about in the transit hall, most of them consist of high schoolers your age. Although.. most of them are female..
- >go to homeroom
- >other
- Even though you and Kendra have been friends since pre-school, she hasn't always acted as a friend. You take remember the first time you should her USS Star Destroyer and how she had called it 'unrealistic', 'childish' and how 'you can't have 10, 000 lazer guns turrets.' You put your heart and soul into that ship and you trusted her when you showed to her. She broke that trust. You give a pathetic wave back and begin to walk towards her. She's your friend even if she is a dick.
- >Hey Kendra how's it going?
- >Why did you make fun of my ship in 5 grade bitch?
- >other
- You walk over to Kendra, she's wearing the typical USG Ishimura High School girl uniform. A simple shirt, jacket and skirt with the USG Ishimura badge on the front of the jacket. "Hey Kendra, didn't expect to see you here, among all these people." She looks up to you and smiles, "agreed, but I didn't think I would really have a better chance of spotting you then here. Ugh, let's go somewhere else."
- >homeroom
- >refectory
- >other
- "Homeroom."
- "Makes sense I guess, we wouldn't want to be late." She says to you as she gets up from the bench. You both begin to walk towards... Oh, that's right you didn't know where your homeroom was, you quickly load up your RIG. The VI gives you a small beam to head the direction of your homeroom. As you walk along next to Kendra in the brightly lit corridors, you take notice that on every feasible place for a poster to stuck up, there is one for the Unitology Club. You see the end of the beam beside what seems to be your homeroom. Facing opposite is one of the Unitology Club posters.
- >Ignore the poster and go into your homeroom
- >inspect the poster
- >other
- You rip it off the wall, clearly whatever this poster did to you must justify your level of action. As an aspiring engineer your RIG does come equipped with a small welding torch. You gleefully activate the torch and put it under the poster. The poster strangely shows no sign of burning, not even a glimmer of the flame taking hold. Kendra, who's been standing next to you this whole time says: "Uh, Isaac do realise that is laminated right?" You turn to her and give a "Oh..." She rolls her eyes and says: "You are such a baka, you know that right?" You reply with "whatever." Before chucking it to the ground before stomping on it. Again, still no sign of damage.
- >Give up and go into homeroom
- >other
