  18. I've mentioned 'Extended Finishers' for some monsters. What this means is that the monster continues to attack after Luka's H-Scene hit 0. For example, the Imp scenes. Since these don't show up as official H-Scenes, it'd be wrong to label them as such. If the info is incorrect, don't be afraid to alter it. I'm proofreading, not writing the entire walkthrough.

  25. My advice on Hard mode:

  27. Don't skip text in battle and during evaluation, it's often important information.
  28. Depending on how strong monster is, your first attack will usually be Thunder Thrust or calling Spirits.

  31. Sylph: Boosts can boost your evade. Works fine with plant monsters and status/effect attack such as gaze/scent moves.
  32. Gnome: Boosts damage slightly, boosts defence (halves damage from monsters) and struggle. (makes escape easier).

  35. Death Sword Chaos Star or Demon Skull Beheading?
  36.  
  37. Death Sword Chaos Star - 4SP: attack rapidly 5 times
  38.  
  39. Demon Skull Beheading - 3SP + you can climb something nearby and attack from above.

  41. Sometimes, Demon Skull Beheading is better. Why?
  42. After you attack, you will have SP to call spirits again faster. (Spirits remain 8 turns before fading)
  43. It's the key to winning
  44. But Death Sword Chaos Star is RNG-based, just using normal attacks and seeing how much damage you do.
  45. It's ill-advised in part 2 until you get much later in the game.

  47. Chaos is good for a faster win. Spirits > Chaos > SP > Chaos

  50. The heretical style of playing the game: First, <Surrender> to unlock the initial H-Scene and then check the Monsterpedia (From 'Extras')
  51. to see if everything has been unlocked for the monster. If not, <Surrender> again.

  54. Some monsters have more than one H-Scene. To find them, get an <Evaluation> after you lose the battle. They usually involve losing to different moves or while Luka is in a certain state.
