<Kaos-Machina> okay guys what if
<Kaos-Machina> now hear me out
<Kaos-Machina> what if
<Kaos-Machina> superman was the ship
<Kaos-Machina> like
<Kaos-Machina> the last son of krypton was a robot that jor-el considered his son
<Kaos-Machina> 'cause I've had this idea rolling around in my head for a few hours now
<Kaos-Machina> granted, I also had the idea that it'd have a twist with krypton not actually being dead and him being sent away because learning robots were illegal on krypton and he had to send him off with false memories so that he wouldn't come back and be in danger
<Kaos-Machina> and the odds of DC actually accepting this idea and letting me do this some kind of professionally is somewhere between slim and none
<Kaos-Machina> so I'm debating if I should even bother writing these ideas out, you know
<Maru> an elseworld perhaps
<Maru> zod is the military AI maybe?
<Kaos-Machina> I was honestly going to go with Zod being, more or less, still Zod
<Maru> oh
<Kaos-Machina> and there was gonna be an incident with a kryptonian-made AI called Brainiac that caused the ban
<Kaos-Machina> which is how I know my idea isn't really that good, I suppose
<Kaos-Machina> that and having Clark Kent still be a character, but he's a kid living out on a farm with his grandparents who finds the robot ship
<Kaos-Machina> some part of me realizes I'm basically writing superman as the iron giant without the whole 'giant' aspect
<Maru> clark kent teaching robosupes
<Maru> no
<Maru> you are writing terminator 2
<Kaos-Machina> that too
<Maru> the final scene has to have superman giving a thumbs up
<Maru> and the final panel is every character just staring at the reader
<Kaos-Machina> ha
