[!] Status Update (06/05)

I'm about 10k words into the final chapter, but not yet at the halfway point. I'm seriously trying to keep the word count down but there's a lot of ground to cover.

 

I dunno guys, at this point I think I only have a 50% shot of making the deadline. But I'm going to keep trying. I'm writing in the evenings and editing last night's section before I go to work each morning. I'm happy with how things are shaping up, and I haven't even gotten to the good part yet!

 

Still no final word count estimate since I'm not far enough in, but I am starting to get concerned that I'll need to split the chapter in the same style as I Dream of Luna's finale. The key difference will be that if it happens, both parts will be released simultaneously. I hate cliffhangers, and I know most of you do too.

Hey guys,

 

Just a quick update. Same deal as last time - I'm hoping to have the final chapter completed a week from now on 06/09. Don't know if I'm going to actually meet that deadline or not, but I'm going to try.

 

The final chapter has 7 major sections, 2 of which are finished, but this doesn't give a good indication of progress as some of these are going to be gigantic and others smaller. At this point I don't have a final word count estimate other than 'as many as it takes to get this done', but I can tell you that I'm very excited about how it's shaping up so far.

 

It's been a hell of a ride working on this story over the past four months, but it's finally coming to an end. Maybe then I'll be able to get off the goddamn ride, or maybe not. I guess we'll see, won't we?
