youve been thinking of going back into learning your old techniques. you were trained in sword fighting thanks to your grandfather when you were young.

 

you are suprized that ponies even make swords, let alone shields.

 

you have just bought something that resembled your sword you had back home. it was a bit longer and brouder though, yet you were able to lift it up with one hand.

that was the thought of a sword.

the day started like it normally does.

 

it takes you getting celestia prepaired and ready for the day.

 

you wheel her to breakfast.

 

luna is there waiting as usual.

 

C: hello luna.

 

L: sister, anon.

 

you have allways wondered how she is able to stay up... eternally now.

 

luna knotices your gaze.

 

L: sleep is not needed anon, it is a lucsery.

 

>your saying that all those times i invited you to parties, you could have showed up?

 

L: a really good lucsury.

 

luna has toned down the old fasioned voice for awhile now. i think she is getting more used to the times.

 

its breakfast and they are surving waffles, fruits, and other vegeterian things. apparently flowers were considered a dessert sometimes. over the years of being here, you still could not understand that.

 

C: what do you have to do today luna?

 

L: well today-

 

this is the part you usually tune out. you tend to zone out these days. you tend to zone out, and ramble. good god, are you becoming old? your only 24, and 30 isnt exactly old either.

 

well none the less you are still rambling, even if its all in your head.

 

C: -isnt that right anon?

 

well, it seems you missed something.

C: i had figured you had zoned off, so i asked you if you did.

L: honestly, i wish another human came here, landed in MY room, and was MY special sompony....

wow, they actually act like women. them being princesses, you have never really seem them like this untill... well you know.

celestia has a heartly laugh with her sister while you are a little flustered.

she was standing right infront of you, she was just dazzeled at the fact that a human just landed into her throne room out of nowhere.

C: getting back to the point anon, i am able to wheel myself now, you should be able to do what you want to do now.

C: i think you need time to yourself as well sometimes.

L: i will. she wants to get back into some order of buisness.

 

you consider this for a moment, then you are slapped in the face with a pancake.

she levetates a napkin over to your face and whipes it.

 

if i dont say it enough already..... she is a cheeky mare.

you havent been here in quite some time.

 

you thought that they would have done something with it by now.

 

there are gaurds watching you. they havent seen you in action in a long time.

 

Gaurds: sir!

gaurd: sir... we would be most honored if you allowed us to... watch. our younger members have not gotten to see you.

in your yard, you have two cases lined up by each other at the very end of the wall.

 

you open up the first one.

 

it is your sword and sheild.

 

you had been given a new sword and shield when you actually inlisted in celestia's gaurd.

 

the sword was more longer than the last one you had. the shield was fitted as a guantlet.

 

in the second case was a dummy. a wooden dummy that you had made twilight bring to life. she made him indestructable as well so i didnt trash the thing. you cant even count the many good sparring matches you have had with this thing. he goes back to being inadimate when he goes back into the box.

 

>hay their max, havent seen you in awhile.

 

max hopps out with a gleeful look. he had his own wooden version of your sword and shield in his mock hands.

 

>i may be a little rusty, so go easy on me max.

 

you start off like you allways did.

 

you and max bring your swords together as a greeting to the match and to tell each other good luck.

 

the match begins when he unleashes a flury of swipes and slashes at you.

 

>i thought i told you to go easy.

 

it didnt matter to max as long as you dodged or parried.

 

among all the swipes, you see a sweet spot and you take it.

 

you jab your shield at his sword while you strike him at the base of his hip.

 

he goes into a swaying motion as he is thrown off ballance.

 

you take this moment to fallow him with your blade clashing down onto his head.

 

the gaurds ooh and awe at how quickly you took the moment.

 

you guess you still had the spirit in you.

 

max gets back up. he seems peppy.

 

once again you exchange your greetings, and you start over.

 

it feels nice to be able to get back into this, it makes you feel a bit of normalsy.

after 30 minutes of sparring with max, you had to call it quits. it was fun, but you needed a stopping point. if it wasnt a real fight, you couldnt keep going. it just didnt seem like it had a point if you just kept going without it having a meaning to it.

 

your old squad had been there the whole time, you and the reminise in all of the good and bad times you had.

 

they all strike up the one time you actually became their wingman for one night, that was a terrible night for you. why? you found out that equestria did not have anything like, or resembling alcohol. you didnt want to get drunk... god no... you just wanted a good time. all they have here in equestria is water, milk, cider, juices, and soda. apparently ponies can get drunk off of sweet things, while sweet things for you can lead to a sugar rush.

 

your rambling again.

 

you say your goodbyes and you make your way back to your room, you needed a shower and you needed it bad.

 

you start it up and you can instantly feel the warmth of the touch of the water. it hits you with enough streangth to be considered a masage. you allways start with your hair. your hair is long. its okay though, celestia likes it long.

 

*creaaaaaak*

 

C: anon, are you in here?

 

>im in the shower.

 

you hear her wheels being rolled by the door, and then into your bathroom.

 

>wow, you didnt even knock.

 

it falls silent for awhile.

 

>tia?

 

C: sorry... um, how did your training go?

 

>i... i liked it.

 

C: very good.

 

>howed your day go with your sister?

 

C: im very proud of what she has become anon.

 

she is closer to the curtain now. you can make out her shadow.

 

>tia....

 

C: i know that you may feel that i might be taking this a bit too fast, i mean even i do...

 

you fall silent to let her finish.

 

C: but we both love each other, right?

 

>.... yeah.....

 

C: anonymous.... i really hope i get through this sooner. i really look foreward to what we can have together then.

 

>.... yeah.

 

you and her had these moments now and then.

 

you found them..... cute.

 

C: well... im going to head off to bed... you are welcome to come join me.

staring into her eyes.

 

your head is close to hers but is not touching her horn.

 

she was able to get up onto the bed herself this time.

 

she is getting better faster than you expected she would.

 

faster than anyone expected she would.

 

she said something corny along the lines of "its because i love you so much."

 

no matter how corny that was... it actually touched your heart.

she gets really red.

you go to kiss her on the lips.

 

she is hesitant at first, but closes her eyes and lets it happen.

 

C: do you think you could flip me over so we could actually... snuggle this time?

 

without question you help her over and wrap your left arm over her. her wing is drapped over her shoulder just a little bit. just enough to touch your arm. her breathing synchs in with yours. your head is right next to hers.

 

you could have sworn you could hear the words "first kiss" come from her as you fell into sleep.
