He played them off as being “comfortable,’ but, in reality, he was trying his hardest to score himself a mate. He wanted cute boys to notice him, which just didn’t seem to be happening. As fate would have it, it must have been Bass’ lucky day, as a rather interesting looking male walked not too far behind him, checking him out from only a few meters away. “Show off.” Called the voice from behind him. Bass craned his neck to look back at what seemed to be a deer. The curious feline perked his ears up and stared rather wide-eyed at his antlers. He couldn’t bring himself to respond, but he didn’t want the strange man to walk away. He turned around to face him. He wasn’t exactly the most muscular looking dude he’d ever seen, but he had a rather nice figure, thick thighs, a bit of an ass, which was more than welcome, and a small bit of a gut. His face was rather inviting. Even though the deer did look quite pissed off, there was a semblance of gentleness in his face, and looked rather young, likely not any older than Bass. Cupid was quite uncomfortable with the cat staring at him, even though it would be a lie to say that he wasn’t interested. Being arrogant as he was, Cupid wasn’t about to just sit idly by and let this happen. “Excuse me, do you need something?” Asked the deer, rather annoyed.  Bass jumped ever so slightly at this, his tail flicking up as well. He was hopelessly frightened, feeling a large weight on his chest that prevented him from speaking. It pained him so, because he really didn’t want to miss this opportunity, but he was just such a dumb, timid little kitten…  Cupid was able to pick up on the cat’s interest, and began to approach him, walking rather nonchalantly, as not to seem aggressive. Bass stood still, paralyzed with anxiety. Cupid loved watching stand there, so horribly uncomfortable. He’d never seen something so-… adorable like that before. He figured he’d take his chances, since Cupid was kind of the in the middle of a dry spell himself. “Come on, catboy, don’t be shy. I know you’re just dying for me to talk to you. My name’s Cupid, the pleasure’s all yours.” The deer looked down at him condescendingly, asserting quite a bit of dominance, even though he wasn’t certain if Bass genuinely did like him or if he was just shy. The cat started to open his mouth, very subtly, to say something, but he just clasped his hands at his chest and folded his elbows inward, his knees pressing together, and looking down. He couldn’t bear to speak, he was so beside himself trying not to ruin this moment. He gulped, looking back up at the deer, and hesitated a few moments longer. Thankfully, Cupid helped him along. “My, it’s almost as if they named me Cupid for a reason…~” He smiled enticingly at the cat, who seemed to return the affection. Bass’ ears relaxed, and put his arms behind his back, standing up a bit straighter. “M- my name’s, Bass…” The cat spoke with difficulty, and immediately looked away after finishing, even groaning softly. He was glad he spoke up, but wasn’t exactly ready to follow it up. “Well, Bass… I do like your shorts, but, I think you’d look much better with them off.” Cupid gave him the smolder of a lifetime. Without pause, Bass already felt the fluttering in his stomach, and he couldn’t fight it much longer. With each passing second, the flustered little kitten wanted it more and more.
