PrincessStocking: Am I talking to one of the mods or the admin?
Frank: There is no "admin", just five mods

PrincessStocking: Well, I'm rhe Admin of /hga/. I recently heard of some "commotion" that some of our people caused there so I wanted to look into it.
Frank: I see.
Frank: Well, we had some people come here from /hga/ that weren't so desirable, but we let a bunch stay around
Frank: They didn't like it much on the other board, seemed to be the general consensus
PrincessStocking: They weren't very desirable on /hga/ either.
Frank: I see.
Frank: Is there anything you needed to know about them?
Frank: Or anything else I can help you with?
Frank: It was pretty cut and dry, a shitposter was banned, a few left with that one, but most stayed.
PrincessStocking: I just wanted to make sure there weren't any misunderstandings of the sort.
PrincessStocking: Talk thing sout in case there are any future problems.

PrincessStocking: We at /hga/ have a set purpose and we have some rules and social norms that are kept to keep us on track. Some people aren't really interested in the Games and circlejerk, which isn't looked down upon but is unfavorable while the games are in session. We have a rules we enforce to keep derailments from happening or behavoir that makes the other users uncomfortable. Some bans happened, they got agressive, we reacting accordingly and their "group" so to say made big exit speeches and seemingly went off the map.

Frank: I've been to your board, I can understand why some people would choose to leave
Frank: But we've got no interboard war going on or anything
Frank: In fact we kind of discouraged bringing large sums of people over

Frank: Because your mods are as stiff as the average american male in the morning
Frank: I have seen literal bans for kissing
Frank: It's not my place to critique your board, ours isn't perfect

Frank: I saw the context. I was in the thread. And I think that from a board originating from /b/ you guys are weirdly SFW
PrincessStocking: We have a history with nsfw, and it's rather not needed for what we have. We allowed it before in separate thread, but some members of the community. Gets to levels of cringe you wouldn't believe.

PrincessStocking: And the ban was a warning ban.

PrincessStocking: They like to make it a big deal for no reason.
Frank: It doesn't really matter how long the ban was. It was modstroking, and for something that didn't violate any real rules. I get that NSFW isn't always appreciated, but on an RP board, with an 18+ rating, from /b/ of all places
Frank: It feels irritatingly restricting
Frank: and this isn't just my words
Frank: this is the words of many people who use /hga/
Frank: Both on and off our board
Frank: Again, it's not really my place to say anything about your board, and this is just the opinon of one person

Frank: I mean, obviously if you spam every single thread you're in with ERP, you'll get a nudge in chat
Frank: But we're adamant on not using mod powers unless rules are directly violated
Frank: We got enough of Redwood jerking us on /co/ with his modboner
PrincessStocking: We've got quite the history ourselves, I've been here since March when it all started. /hga/ was never meant to be our primary board, with the bans on 4Chan we've got no where else to go and such.
Frank: I know those feels.
PrincessStocking: I mean
Frank: Our board was born for ban evasions, too.
PrincessStocking: It's hard with such a split community.
PrincessStocking: I let ERP go freely
PrincessStocking: And our "good" members start leaving.
PrincessStocking: And for the games we're trying to run, we can't be a free for all. We ket that happen before and things absutely went out of control.
Frank: The games thing is kind of redundant on an RP board anyway

Frank: I guess I see the point there
PrincessStocking: We were on 4chan and 8chan was to let everyone do what they want.
PrincessStocking: But now everyone is there and we don't really have a choice lol.
Frank: But making an RP board restricted to a halfwater browser game with mods breathing down your neck isn't really "anything they want"

Frank: You either need to keep your gimmick interesting or change the status quo

Frank: You can't dig your heels in forever
PrincessStocking: I know I'm listening to someone with more experience, and I don't disagree.
PrincessStocking: But we've slowly been evolving and a lot has changed.
PrincessStocking: Hard to explain.
PrincessStocking: What the games are.
PrincessStocking: What they can be.
PrincessStocking: Without it, this is just and empty shell.

Frank: Speaking on a literary level, if your board is an empty husk without a game to write content for it, it really didn't have much value to begin with

Frank: But uh, we let it go, and our shit got better
Frank: The only skirmish we ever had was with the mod who "appointed" himself because he made the board

Frank: We told him to fuck off because he breathed down our neck about certain threads. We then voted in a cast of mods.
Frank: Four people, no more say than the other
Frank: and bans, outside of violating preestablished rules we all voted on, are made by the whole group
