Twilight Sparkle and her friends (and all of Ponyville) is hit with the neutral virus.  It makes them not care for anything at all.  It takes a herculean effort for Twilight and her friends to cure the virus.  By doing what they normally do.  Half-assed and lazy.

LONGER STORY:

 

Field Junior Mayor Anon  works to better the pony community, but at the cost of being a fukkin' dick (and has low PR to boot).  To boost his PR, he is led to volunteer at the retard community, where he has to put up with Derpy, Screwball, and Screwloose's shennanigans.  He hates his new position, only pretending (and poorly) to care for them.  Feels start to ensue.

 

DREAMTIME ARC:

 

Cadence is worried with Anon and Twilight being 'vitrolic best buds', and tries to use a love spell to patch things up between the two.  When the spell fails, it's up to Shining Armor to keep Cadence from going crazy from the revelation that she may have lost her groove.

Bonus Points:  Cadence becomes emo after her 'cutie mark failure' syndrome.

Anon eats Pinkie Pie's tutti frutti, and gets so high off it from its sugar that he starts going on a spiritual journey, with giant eagles, heavy metal references, and adventure time!  Pinkie Pie tries and fails to keep Anon in check.  "Fly like an eagle, through the breeze.  Fly like an eagle into the future."

- bunyip is a dream creature, an abomination between a swamp elemental and a nightmare.

- when in close proximity to a pony settlement, it can enter ponies dreams and eat their cutie marks, partly for nutrition, partly for baiting them when they come to get their marks back

- bunyips gain part of the natural talent of the cutie mark holder, the rest is slowly digested for nutrition

- it has an elongated crocodile like smile, with glassy eyes, but is like a hominoid gorilla otherwise. entirely made of swampwater, reeds, marsh, and the bad dreams of ponies.  it smells of methane and metal.  currently infesting evergreen due to overpopulation, a direct result from Luna's 1000 yr absence.

- swamp elemental (elemetnals can only be defeated by their weakness.  in this case, it's not fire (like a wood elemental), but it's extreme heat)  defeating a bunyip this way causes you to lose the abilities it had gained

- if you can get a bunyip to throw up, you'll regain your abilities

- if you win a challenge with a bunyip, it is forced to follow its word

- bunyips are normally dumb, but they can talk

- bunyips like to eat ponies even more than their cutie marks

>this bunyip has these additonal abilities:

- has twilight's raw power, but can only blast magic bolts from fist

- is much faster, but is grounded

- can do fluttershy's stare to command animals

- able to find and manipulate gems (more money)

ANON CHARACTER:

Anon is ambitious, but when mundane jobs appear, he tries to pawn them off to others, or goofs of in mind or spirit when anon does something he feels boring.  Gets easily distracted.  Wants to open his own repair shop, but needs money for a house, workshop, tools.  The only exception is mechanical stuff, where he is a natural at using a wrench or hammer.  Anon comes from a planet with both technology and magic.  4Chan exists in his world as a literal bulletin board, and he can state IRL web humor occasionally.  Sarcastic when he doesn't get his way or gets scared.  As a result, he can make things worse.  A good planner, but terrible at dynamically adapting to situations.

 

ANON'S INTERACTIONS WITH MANE 6:

Applejack: worker at the apple farm, decent worker. AJ thinks he complains a lot, but likes his no-nonsense attitude, when he isn't goofing off.  Applejack spends a good deal of what little of her spare time hanging with anon.

 

Rainbow Dash: anon has a fear of heights, and a hatrid of books, doesn't talk with dash much.  Doesn't care if she's a cunt, admires RD's confidence.  Just never had any common ground.

 

Twilight:  Bores anon when she explains shit, twilight and anon don't get along well.  When the two have to talk, it's usually via sarcasm.

 

Pinkie Pie:  Anon loves being random with Pinkie Pie and building all sorts of crazy steampunk contraptions with her.  Between the two of them, they've developed the mini-pinkie cannon.

 

Fluttershy:  Anon thinks she's cute.  Platonically.  Turns to absolute jelly around her.  Fluttershy knows this, and keeps abuse to a minimum.  (if she does, see just for sidekicks as to how she would do it)

 

Rarity:  Anon respects her charisma and her ambition.  Doesn't hang around much due to the whole dresses thing, but does work for her when applejack can't afford help/rarity needs some time off.  Doesn't like her drama shit though, and calls it out on her often.

 

VARIATIONS ON ORIGINAL FLAVOR

Applejack: Drinks with Anon on a regular basis.  Doesn't spend all her time on the farm.  Emphasis on making apple cider.  Anon loves the truffes that she gets from the pigs on a regular basis.

 

Twilight: Emphasis more on being unable to pick up on social cues, showing her witty side with anon.  Is the only one to grasp anon's 4chan side(pinkie pie doesn't understand it). Is quite the taskmaster though.

 

Pinkie Pie: More of a builder, can be an inventer if she didn't want to create a Rudenburg machine every time.  Anon keeps her from doing this.  Best baker.  She can make any job fun, execpt anon's job, much to his chagrin.

 

Rarity: Advertises much more, and shows natural talent at doing so.  Also helps advertise other's efforts as well.  Twilight helps her schedule her time.

 

Rainbow Dash: Occasionally boozes with Applejack, constantly tries to get Fluttershy out of her shell, with disasterous results.  Considers herself a player.  Only one because pegasi don't come down too often, and is considered a 'Rarity' no pun intended, please don't kill me.  Best exotic chef.

 

Fluttershy: Shows the most stealth once anon shows her how (use scouts, use her wings to fly silently, but is still afraid of surprises), best chef.  Her and RD cook often.
