  1. >The warmth of your dream that was previously enveloping you has shifted away, only to be replaced by a cool soothing nudge.
  2. >It prods your cheek as you stir awake and peel your eyes open for the new day.
  3. >The sight you witness is not one to relieve you, only cause you great distress.
  4. >A large white mass of feathers rests lightly, dowsing you in shade and warmth.
  5. >It takes you a few seconds to do the math and comprehend what was going on.
  6. >You immediately roll out from underneath what was first interpreted as a blanket of comfort, to a prison of anxiety.
  7. >Shaken by your sudden motion, a disheveled ivory princess scrunches her face in surprise.
  8. >”Good morning Anonymous, how was your rest? “
  9. >You don’t even acknowledge her as you make your way to the bathroom for your daily routine.
  10. >”Anonymous!” She shouts in a singsong voice, fluttering down from the air to the floor in front of you.
  11. >You just now take notice to how high the roof was in this room.
  12. “Please leave me alone Celestia, I want nothing to do with you.”
  13. >Your words hit like a ton of bricks, you can see her disposition warp from a somewhat cheery to a crooked smile and a squinted eye.
  14. >”Very well Anonymous, as you wish.”
  15. >If you blink you would have missed it, she vanished from thin air. I suppose if she can bring me into my own mind, teleporting isn’t that much of a leap.
  16. “This place is weird.” You say to the thin air, not expecting any response.
  17.
  18.
  19. >”That it is.” Accompanied by a chuckle comes from nowhere.
  20. >You take notice to sparks falling out of the air where Celestia just was.
  21. >You huff out loud as you enter the bathroom and lock the door behind you.
  22. >After your usual process of shitting and showering, it was brought to your attention that there were no razors.
  23. >A light bulb must have flicked on over your head as you snap your fingers and a razor poofs into existence.
  24. >5 minutes later you are fully dressed and looking rather sharp.
  25. >You take your time opening the door and peaking around to look for anything out of the ordinary.
  26. >One thing sticks out to you, a single large tray lays docile on your bed, a silver dome covering it.
  27. >Slowly you make your way to the suspicious looking platter.
  28. >When you arrive at the bed you look around it and there doesn’t seem to be anything out of place.
  29. “Why not?”
  30. >You peel the top from the plate and take notice to the bounty of food that lay in front of you.
  31. >2 eggs over medium it looks with home fries, diced carrots, and white toast.
  32. >You can’t help the amount of saliva building up in your mouth as you lower a hand to it and scoop up some of the food on toast and bite into it.
  33. >While stuffing your face, you take no notice to your surroundings.
  34. >As you stuff the last bite into your gullet you turn to the silver dome that lay disheveled on the bed, and take notice to a card trimmed with gold leaf.
  35. >All it says is “Sorry”
  36.
  37.
  38. >You shake your head in frustration.
  39. “If this was poisoned, I’m going to haunt the shit out of her.”
  40. >You slip on your shoes and leave the room.
  41. >After walking for about 5 minutes you realize you have no idea where you were trying to go.
  42. >All of these hallways are identical. Gold trim and paintings of tranquil meadows and babbling brooks coat the walls, mahogany wood furniture with red upholstery.
  43. >You take a seat on a rather large red cushion and relax for a bit, maybe someone will come along and help you escape from this maze.
  44. >After what feels like hours you see a familiar face.
  45. “JARVIS!”
  46. >”Oh hello anonymous, what are you doing all the way out here?”
  47. “I got lost”
  48. >you mumble out and hang your head low.
  49. >”It’s not a big deal Anon, this is really large castle, the biggest I have ever cared for.”
  50. “You think you could get me out of here?”
  51. >He shakes his brown head up and down.
  52. “Hehe, lead the way.”
  53. >You walk at a moderate pace for about 10 minutes making small talk and exchanging stories.
  54. >He tells you about his family, his wife and 2 kids. You explain to him your current predicament with Celestia and he gives you the same explanation that Luna gave you.
  55. >There was no way you were just going to forgive Celestia.
  56. >Besides, if she keeps giving you stuff like this, you have it made.
  57. >Speak of the devil, as you round a corner into the large hallway that leads to the throne room, you see Celestia with a darker tint of white than you remembered.
  58.
  59.
  60. >You can feel the sadness oozing from her being.
  61. >It’s contagious.
  62. “Look, Celestia I can’t have you moping around like this. It’s not setting a good example for your “children”. I am willing to forgive you under one condition.”
  63. >Her face does a 180 with a smile that you assume is powered by the sun.
  64. >”What is it?!?!?!”
  65. “I need you to stop apologizing to me. Just help me get on my feet so I can start doing something around here.”
  66. >She has mixed looks on her face, between happiness and though flowing through her face she would wince every now and then.
  67. >Then she stopped, it was like watching the wheel spin on jeopardy, and you landed on jackpot.
  68. >Her smile returned in full force as she galloped closer to you.
  69. “My rule still stands.”
  70. >She stops dead in her tracks, remembering what you said about her horn.
  71. >”I have a few ideas on things I could do for you, but I will have to think it over. I will let you know Anonymous.”
  72. >When she stops talking sparks dribble from her horn and you feel like you are being squeezed.
  73. >Naturally you start panicking, but when you look down you see two purple things resembling arms wrapped around your torso.
  74. >She is crafty, you didn’t see that coming.
  75. >Well, might as well. You hug back the arms and she smiles warmly.
  76. “Don’t get too cheeky with me Tia, I’m still upset with you.
  77. >”I understand, it is just a step in a good direction. You don’t know how much it pains me to have one of my children upset with me.”
  78.
  79.
  80. >She considers you one of her children? Dam, now you kind of feel like an asshole.
  81. >You look around for a little bit and then your eyes meet.
  82. “Well, I’m going to go find Luna, do you happen to know where she is?”
  83. >”Check the lower gardens, she is usually close to the balcony overlooking the ravine.”
  84. >You thank her for the help and make your leave, but not before saying good by to Jarvis.
  85. >Sort of forgot he was standing there.
  86. >He flashes you a warm smile before leaving on his way.
  87. “Hey, which way is the garden?”
  88. >C:” Down those stairs to the left, you should see a large ivory gate with vines. That will lead you to her.”
  89. “Thanks again.”
  90. >You turn and make your way for your friend in the night.
  91. >After a sort walk through a beautiful myriad of shrubbery and sculptures, one resembling Discord, you see the mare you were looking for.
  92. >There she sits, wings spread, head up to the stars, front arms in the air.
  93. >It takes you a bit to notice, but the stars seem to be moving along with her arms.
  94. >You let out a small laugh and she turns and faces you with a smile.
  95. “Were you just moving those?”
  96. >”Yes, I was, but please do not sneak up on me like that.”
  97. “Sorry about that. That’s crazy, you really move the stars? What else can you do?”
  98. >She says nothing, simply turns around and restarts her position pointing at the night sky.
  99. >She hums softly as you take notice to a large white object peering over the horizon.
  100. >It slowly makes it way over the mountains, bringing a new found light to the landscape that laid before you.
  101.
  102.
  103. >You could see for miles, forest stretched out for a distance, only breaking away to desert and then into ocean.
  104. >Out in the distance you could see what you assumed were small settlements shining away.
  105. >”Anonymous, you are drooling…” she chortles and you blush.
  106. “That’s amazing. You control the moon and the stars? Is it hard?”
  107. >”It’s an acquired talent. It took much practice. And I had 1000 years of it.”
  108. >Her smile fades into a distant look.
  109. >You wipe the drool from your mouth and take a seat next to her.
  110. >After what feels like an eternity you break the silence.
  111. “I accepted Celestias apology today.”
  112. >Her face lights up “This is very good news! I had feared she would lose it. She was starting to scare me.”
  113. “I’m still upset with her, but I needed her to stop moping around.”
  114. >”Thank you Anonymous.”
  115. >It’s pretty cold out here at night, you take notice as you shiver.
  116. >She wraps a wing around you.
  117. >You were going to say something, but it was warm and soft and you didn’t want it to leave.
  118. “So what do you think Celestia is going to do with me?”
  119. >”I could find out, but at the time being I have no idea.”
  120. >You just sit there looking at the beauty that sat all around you.
  121. >Your smile never fading.
  122. >Come to think of it, smiling was something that happened very rarely back on earth, and here it is almost constant.
  123. “I like it here, it’s much nicer than back on earth.”
  124. >”How so?”
  125. “Back on earth I had no one, and no one was nearly as open as you ponies are. Everyone back there seemed to be locked away from strangers.”
  126.
  127.
  128. >She remains quiet.
  129. “Well I think I’m going to go find my room Luna, I’m rather tired.”
  130. >She stands up and crouches down and looks back at you.
  131. >”Climb on”
  132. >It takes you a little while to figure out what she meant, but you comply when it clicks.
  133. “Are you sure about this?”
  134. >”Positive. Now stop being such a foal and hop on.” She smiles.
  135. >You jump up on and grab hold around her neck.
  136. >She extends her wings and flutters up, wobbly at first, but she gains her balance. She probably wasn’t used to that much added weight.
  137. >You take off in the direction of the room.
  138. >It feels good to have the wind blowing through your hair.
  139. >The moon acts like a spotlight, leading the way to where you are going.
  140. >She floats down onto the balcony and you climb off.
  141. “That was fun, we need to do that again some time.”
  142. >”Yes we will. Good night Anonymous.”
  143. “Call me Anon.”
  144. >She smiles wide. “Okay Anon.” getting a feel for the word.
  145. >You reach in for a hug and she hugs back.
  146. “Goodnight Luna.”
  147. >You let go and walk to the living room.
  148. >You see a note on the bed.
  149. >From Celestia,
  150. Dear Anonymous, in regard to what will be going on with you I have decided. I will elaborate to you in the morning, but you are being relocated. Goodnight Anonymous.
  151. >you don’t know if you like the sound of that, but nothing you can do about it now.
  152. >So you retire to the bathroom and bathe for the night.
  153. >No bubbles tonight, you just soak up the heat and relax.
  154. >After changing into a robe you make your way to the bed and belly flop onto the softness.
  155.
  156.
  157. >Sleep is instantaneous on this cloud they call a bed.
  158. >Surprise surprise. Your buddy Discord decides to break up your dreams again tonight.
  159. >”Anon, we need to talk.”
  160. >”It’s about your relocation.”
  161. “Go for it, lay it on me.”
  162. >”I need you to get stronger. It is the only way to get me out of here.”
  163. >”When you get there, make friends with them and do what I sent you out there for.”
  164. “Mkay, now can you put me back in my dream I was enjoying that.”
  165. >He looks at you stoic before snapping his fingers and you slipping back onto Luna’s back.
  166. >You’re flying through an underwater coral formation, observing the beauty that lays underneath.
  167. >Flying is fun, and you will do it again before you are relocated.
  168. >As your dreams fade away you slip into darkness and sleep heavily.
