  1.         Rena tugged at the hem of her dress, hoping that the tablecloth and her nervous smile hid the motion from Cynthia’s eyes.  She dearly loved the dress, the high waist flattering her non-existent hips and bust and the dark purple color doing wonders with her red hair, but the criminally short hemline was doing nothing for her paranoia.  She fidgeted again, trying to get the fabric somewhere in the neighborhood of her knees, then sighed in defeat as she saw the villain give her a dirty little smirk, “Liking the dress, Rena?  I did owe you an outfit after our little incident, so I thought I’d choose one that showed off your…assets.”
  2.         Rena resisted the urge to sink into her chair only because they were in a restaurant that looked like something out of the movies, and she desperately didn’t want to embarrass herself any further by being kicked out.  It was frustrating really, how Cynthia knew exactly which buttons to push to make her blush.  “You didn’t need to get something this nice though and bring me to a place like this,” she replied, trying to steer the conversation towards something that didn’t involve her body or ruined clothing.
  3.         Her companion shrugged, saying offhandedly, “Oh I don’t mind, I’ve got so much money that I don’t really know what to do with it.  You can only invest so much into secret bases that keep getting blown up before you decide that there are better things to spend it on.”
  4.         She paused and leaned over the table, looking Rena up and down unabashedly before saying, “And anyway, I would have paid anything to get you into that dress.  You look positively delicious in it, I could just eat you up.”
  5.         And there was the blush, Rena though dazedly as she tried not to squirm under Cynthia’s leering.  “I thought we decided that biting me or drinking blood was off limits,” she said nervously.
  6. Her back suddenly straightened as she finally figured out that she had something to hold over her partner’s head.  “You wouldn’t get any snuggling if you ate me, so quit your teasing,” she said confidently, a victorious smile pulling at her lips.
  7.         Cynthia stopped her leering, staring at Rena in utter surprise, before laughing at the unexpected counterattack.  “You’ve got me there, you evil woman.  Though I could think of better uses for your body than food,” she said with a lascivious smirk.
  8.         The sound of someone clearing their throat dragged Rena’s attention from the flirting, and she turned to face what she assumed was their waiter with an embarrassed smile.  All color drained from her face as she noted the leotard, thigh highs, and furious expression.  Oh god, it was Bridgette.  Rena desperately cycled through excuses in her mind, trying to find anything that could possibly make this situation better than ‘all-encompassing disaster’, and turned to Cynthia with the hope that the villain could come up with something.
  9.         Cynthia had leaned back into her chair languidly, and said with pointed politeness, “Why hello, dear sister.  I don’t think that you properly dressed for this restaurant.  Could you go?  I’m having a date with Rena.”
  10.         Bridgette glared at Cynthia like she wanted nothing more to strangle her right there in her seat, and said, “Excuse me, -dear sister-, what did you just say about my girlfriend’s body?”
  11.         The older woman smiled sweetly and said, “My my, she’s your girlfriend now?  And here I was under the impression that you were just calling her your ‘nemesis’, not labeling your relationship and all that.  Really now, don’t look so angry, how was I to know that you wanted her exclusively?”
  12.         This seemed to make something snap in Bridgette and two balls of fire appeared in her hands.  “Change into your costume.  I’m so done with all this shit,” she growled as the patrons around them began to panic.
  13.         Cynthia’s smile took on a hard edge, and she swept upright elegantly to face her sister.  She pressed her morpher, and the long, elegant dress she had been wearing was replaced by her usual cheongsam.  “So quick to anger!  And here I was thinking that I was being a good sister by keeping an eye on your little romantic interest,” she purred, snake coils growing from beneath the hem of her dress.
  14.         “Um guys, maybe we should-,” Rena interjected, trying to calm the situation before they destroyed the place.
  15.         Bridgette completely ignored her, throwing a ball of flames at her sister before snapping, “I thought I told you to keep out of my life!  I can be with Rena without you constantly interfering and testing her to make sure she’s loyal to me.  I like her how she is!”
  16.         The older villain dodged the attack with ease, though the table behind her was not so lucky.  The tablecloth and oiled wood went up like a torch, quickly spreading to the carpet as the civilians began to stampede out of the restaurant.  Cynthia tilted her head and took on an offended tone, “Such accusations!  I’m done with trying to change her.  And I like her as she is too, especially the way she makes this little sound in the back of her throat when I rub her the right way.”
  17.         A deadly silence fell on the restaurant as Bridgette’s eyes widened in shock and fury, while Rena sank in her seat in terror and embarrassment.  This situation was far beyond being fixed by words alone, and she saw no way this would end without blood.  Bridgette began hurling fireballs wildly, screaming, “You did WHAT to Rena?”
  18.         Cynthia moved almost too fast to see, slipping around behind her sister and pinning Bridgette’s arms to her sides with a coil of her tail.  “Just a dalliance here and there, a kiss, a torn shirt, my hand moving up her thigh…”
  19.         The rock that Rena had been hiding in her purse struck Cynthia squarely between the eyes, and both sisters stopped their struggle in confusion.  Rena stormed up to them both, anger practically radiating from her form, and she shouted, “Enough!  Stop competing over me, stop talking about me like I’m not here, and stop treating me like some prize to be won!”
  20.         She turned to Cynthia first, face twisted in embarrassment and anger, “Stop trying to provoke Bridgette!  She’s the one that’s been treating me like an equal at the very least, and I fell in love with her before anything happened with you.”
  21.         The word ‘love’ stopped both villains before they could bring up any arguments, and Rena turned next to Bridgette, “And I do love you, but I need more than to be just your nemesis.  Why did it take you being jealous about your sister flirting with me to get you to call me your girlfriend?”
  22.         Taking advantage of both of their stunned expressions, she continued, “I like –both- of you!  But you two always just attack me or take control of a situation and never ask what I’m feeling!  Can we just sit down and talk this out like normal humans for once?  I don’t want to lose either of you, so could you please stop fighting?”
  23.         Her ranting finally over, she glared at them both and crossed her arms and tapped her foot, obviously waiting for a response.  For a few seconds, the only sound was the crackling of the fire as it spread from table to table and up the no doubt horridly expensive curtains.  “You actually love-,” Cynthia began, a crestfallen expression on her face.
  24.         “Yes,” Rena snapped.
  25.         “You slept with-,” Bridgette said in utter shock before Rena cut her off as well.
  26.         “Yes!  Because it involved of one of her stupid plots to control our relationship that I warned you about, which you did nothing to stop by the way, and because I like her too,” she said firmly, the anger slowly leaking out of her.
  27.         Both sisters looked completely bewildered, lost, and hurt, which replaced what anger Rena still had with the urge to comfort them both.  She closed the last few paces and wrapped both of them in a hug.  “We’ll talk it out when we get home,” she said wearily, and pointed towards the door, “Can we go now?  I don’t want to die in a fire.”
  28.         To her surprise, they meekly nodded and went without complaint as she wrapped an arm around their waists and guided them to the front of the restaurant.  Maybe she should get angry more often, she though with tired bemusement, it seemed that it was the way to get through both of these women’s egos.  Figuring that she might as well take advantage of her control of the situation, as well as send a…message to Bridgette, she turned to Cynthia as they went through the front door and said loudly to be heard over the roaring fire, “Also, no more dictating what I can and can’t do with your sister.  What we do in the bedroom is our own business.”
  29.         She stopped dead in her tracks as the flash of what felt like a million different cameras went off, and a crowd of reporters began scribbling what she had just said into their notebooks.  Rena looked desperately to both of her companions as questions about the details of her relationship with the sisters began to be shouted out.  “I’ll take care of them,” the two said simultaneously, glared at each other, then launched themselves towards the group as if in a race to show who could help Rena first.
  30.         Rena watched the devastation worriedly as she realized that now Bridgette and Cynthia were directly competing with each other for her.  She wasn’t sure whether to be ecstatic or to fear for the planet.
