  1. AiE Chapter 3: Dreams aren't always nightmares
  2.
  3. >At first, everything was alright
  4. >You weren't sure anything was happening
  5. >Of course that was before you started to see Him
  6. >well, you assume it's him. It looks like a pony diving into two other ponies, and then being crushed by rubble
  7. >Oh..so that's the hero pony.
  8. >The dead, hero pony..
  9. >You killed him..
  10. >Feelsbadman.jpg
  11. >Now there's running
  12. >Who's running?
  13. >Or, more like what's running.
  14. >It looks like a blue bear running with something behind it.
  15. >Blue bear? Hehe..
  16. >Then you realize that whatever's chasing it, is a lot bigger, with a dark purple color.
  17. >Purty colors..
  18. >And then you awake with a jump. No clue why your dreams suck like that, but whatever.
  19. >It seems the jump was caused by someone knocking on the door.
  20. >You see no reason to sleep any longer, and decide to get up, regardless of whether you're a zombie or not.
  21. >Getting up there's a small basket outside the room with a card that reads "Basic hygiene is appreciated!"
  22. >Ah..you probably smell like shit.
  23. >After a quick shower, which was surprisingly hard to use, you take a step outside of your room.
  24. >fuck.jpg
  25. >So..AFTER you head back in, and put your pants on, you head back out.
  26. >An occasional guard or scribe looks at you funny, probably has something to do with you being human..
  27. >Nah
  28. >After stumbling about thinking about nothing in particular, you find what appears to be the gardens.
  29. >The gardens themselves were nice, but you didn't really care. You were focused on Celestia standing in the middle of them, near some fountain.
  30. >After approaching her, she responds in such a nice tone "Good morning Anonymous, I hope you slept well?"
  31. Well, for an alien I'd have to say so..
  32. >This elicits that grin you've come to see so often in such a short time.
  33. >"Well, then I hope the trip won't shake you from your mood."
  34. Wha..trip?
  35. >"Anonymous, for the sake of learning more about our world I've decided to send you to Ponyville, under the eye of my trusted student, Twilight sparkle. You'll be provided a room, and basic needs. You leave this afternoon, say hello to Twilight for me, Anonymous."
  36. >Poof. Not like Poof your happy mood, but like poof. She's gone.
  37. >Damnit..
  38. >After packing what few items you had, you head out and towards the train station, being guided by Celestias Royal guard.
  39. >Ticket in hand, you hop on the train, and the rest just blurs together.
  40. >Nothing really exciting, nor fun happens on board. Just the scenery, a LOT of scenery.
  41. >You weren't really complaining though, you enjoyed seeing the country, and the mountains.
  42. >It was proof that nature with still out there, even if you didn't live in it.
  43. >A loud whistle chimes overhead, and you take that as your signal to get off. Well, that and the announcer..
  44. >Stepping off the train, you see a seemingly lost purple unicorn standing around, looking every direction.
  45. >Upon spotting you, she stops looking..
  46. >In the most uncomfortable tone you can fathom, you hear "Oh, um..you must be Anonymous?"
  47. Yeps..Just call me Anon though. You must be Twilight? The princess says hello.
  48. >She seems to lighten up just a bit, and then tells you to follow her back to her house, for your room and some grub.
  49. >The trip over there isn't all that exciting though, as not many ponies are around. You see a large gathering and assume it's a carnival or something. Whatever.
  50. >Twilight leads you to the worlds largest tree house, and apologizes for the mess, something about her dragon not being around.
  51. >Ignoring the obvious wut you realize this is a library or something..
  52. Is this a library or something?
  53. >"Yes actually, welcome to the ponyville library, and, well..my home as well."
  54. >She cringes at that last part, almost like she was about to be judged for something.
  55. Cool..
  56. >A little shocked at first, she moves on to show you your room.
  57. >"Here you are Anonymous. Let me know if you need anything!"
  58. Thanks twilight, I'll just unpack for now, and head to bed. See you in the morning.
  59. >And with that, you lay your surprisingly sleepy self down..When did you become so exhausted?
  60. >Why is sleep so nice? You'll just have those nightmares again..
  61. >Fuck, you're already asleep.
  62. >Your dreams show a meadow, and then you hear laughter. It sounds like a girl, but it's hard to tell.
  63. >You just notice a young pony running through a field, and then into the forest.
  64. >There's a snarl, and then a scream, and you see the young pony run out with an older pony soon behind. There's some blood around him, but he seems fine, and the yound pony just runs.
  65. >Then this giant lion looking thing pops out, and the old pony turns around, starting to yell at it. It's like he's trying to scare it away or something, and it seems to be working.
  66. >Everything seems like you're watching it happen, and you can't be sure as to what is really going on. The young pony, you learn to be a colt, just blasts through you crying and sobbing.
  67. >The entire time, the old pony, who seems to be female, is still yelling for a good minute, before the lion goes away.
  68. >You wake up when you see the old mare collapse on the ground, not sure what just happened.
  69. >You need a psychiatrist..
