  1. Day 3
  2.
  3. >WAKE UP
  4.
  5. >Hung over like a mother fucker, and Kite fucking bugles at sun up to go play. Damn dog.
  6. >You roll over out of bed, head pounding.
  7. "Not today, Kite. I'm not feeling well."
  8. >You clutch your head. God damn ponies and their drinking games.
  9. >That Rainbow Dash can sure hold her liquor.
  10. >Oh fuck. Gotta puke.
  11. >You rush out to the bathroom.
  12. >You don't make it.
  13. >Vomit goes everywhere.
  14.
  15. >CLANG
  16. >Twinkle drops a tray with a salad breakfast that she was bringing you.
  17. >"Oh Celestia! Anon!" Twinkle comes galloping over.
  18. "I'm fine... I'm fine.. I'm sorry about the mess.."
  19. >Your body shudders. Maybe not so fine.
  20. >You pass out.
  21.
  22. >You wake up in a hospital bed with a bright light shining in your eyes.
  23. >Above you, a pony wearing a nurse's  bonet with a red cross on it talks to Twinkle.
  24. >"Is he going to be okay? What happened to him?" Twinkle asks the nurse franticly.
  25. >"Calm down, sweetheart. He's going to be fine," the nurse tells her, trying to calm her down.
  26. >"But what happened?! Why is he sick?!" she practicly shouts at the nurse, visibly angry.
  27. >"Twinkle! Calm. Down. Look, he's waking up."
  28. >"Anon!"
  29. >You sit up slowly.
  30. "Hey. What happened?"
  31. >"We're not entirely sure. To be honest, we've never treated a... creature like you before. We took some blood and sent it to the vet. I hope that's okay. There results of the blood work should be back by tomorrow. Your case is a priority. In the mean time you need to relax to recover from the amount of blood we took from you. You know, you're lucky that Twinkle here got you here as fast as she did. It appears you ate something that didn't agree with you." Her voice was calm and comforting, despite the intense tone she had just had taken with Twinkle.
  32. >What could it have been? The berries? No. You'd have hospitalized before now if that were the case. The flower salad? No. Same problem. Who knows? Maybe it was that cake. Well, you should live.
  33. >"Nurse Redheartl, when does the vet get here? I'd really to take him home," her tone significantly less tense now.
  34. >Take you home? What are you? A pet?
  35. >Pet... OH SHIT. KITE!
  36. >You bolt up right
  37. >You're like a second away from panic.
  38. >That dog is the only thing that kept you from acknowledging the fact that the Universe seems to have screwed you royally.
  39. >Now that she's gone...
  40. "Where is Kite? Where is my dog?"
  41. >"Huh?" Twinkle looks at you confused.
  42. "I need to go. Thank you for the help, but I need to go."
  43. >You try to get up and out of the bed.
  44. >"No. You're not well!" Redheart puts her hooves on your chest.
  45. "I need to go... now!" You struggle.
  46. >After living so many years as a woodsman and martial arts training you are in quite good shape.
  47. >Nurse Redheart can't hold you on her own. She calls for Twinkle to help her, and then calls for somepony to get some sort of tranquillizer.
  48. >She then moves her hooves from your chest to your arms, with Twinkle holding your feet. Bad move #1.
  49. >A quick twist of the elbow and your arm is free. A strong shove and the rest of you is free.
  50. >You make a run for the door.
  51. >Two male ponies block your way.
  52. >You take a stance as they advance on you to restrain you.
  53. >The first one makes a grab for you. Bad move #2.
  54. >You do a quick shift of the hips, pull his hoof forward and and palm strike his ear.
  55. >Never fought a horse before, but a hit to the ear is pretty universal.
  56. >The second stallion takes the opportunity to grab you from behind. Bad move #3.
  57. >Years of Tui Shou meant you are very sensitive, and the moment he touches you, you slip under his grab.
  58. *Snake Creeps Downs*
  59. >Your strike hits home right to the jaw. It must have hurt.
  60. >You spin around the stallion and run out into the hall.
  61. >mindfulloffuck.jpeg
  62. >Where do you go?
  63. >Pain in the rear.
  64. >Turn around. See Twinkle mouth an apology.
  65. >Darkness
  66.
  67. >Wake up to find yourself tied down.
  68. >Well fuck.
  69. >"Anon..? Have you calmed down?" It's Twinkle.
  70. >You look at her.
  71. "I can't feel my hands..."
  72. >She inquires to what hands are. You show her. "Oh. Yeah, sorry about that. You kind of went a little crazy back there."
  73. "I want to see my dog."
  74. >"You know, she's nearly as dangerous as you are. She's locked in a store room, keeping everybody scared. She went berzerk when you tried to break out." She gives a weak laugh.
  75. "That's my girl," you mumble to yourself, swallowing a heavy lump in your throat.
  76. >Quite a pickle you've got yourself into. This sucks.
  77. >Twinkle notices your distress and walks over, placing the top of her head on yours.
  78. >She's clearly upset by your being upset and trying to comfort you.
  79. >"You can see her as soon as the vet clears you."
  80. >Suddenly a knock on the door. Two large ponies decked out in golden armor walk through, followed by two white unicorns, similarly dressed.
  81. >They surround you.
  82. >One of them gives what you assume is the all clear.
  83. >A light yellow pony with a blue mane dressed in a lab coat walks in. "Hello, Anon. I'm Dr. Goodall."
  84. >She smiles at you.
  85. >"I hear you had a little melt down." That smile. You can't help be feel safe. "Twinkle, sweetie, I'm going to need you to move."
  86. >Twinkle nods silently and backs off.
  87. >Goodall strokes your hair. "I'm going to check your tempature, but I'm going to need a little help. I'm going to need you to tell me if your tempature is healthy, okay?"
  88. "Okay."
  89. >She puts a thermamitor in your mouth, waits a minute, takes it out and reads it. "It says 32 degrees. What's the healthy tempature for... what are you?"
  90. >That feel when you never bothered to tell anybody what your species is called.
  91. "Human."
  92. >You fight down another lump in the throat.
  93. "It depends on what tempature water boils at. What tempature does it boil at?"
  94. >Dr. Goodall looks at you funny for a moment, like you're kidding. "Uh, 100 degrees."
  95. "Yeah, that's normal."
  96.
  97. >"About the same as a pony. That's convenient. Just hold on a little longer. You're being very brave."
  98. >Goodall turns to one of the unicorns. "I think it's okay to remove the restraints. You're not going to hurt anybody, are you?" She pets you.
  99. >That lump in your throat is gone, and you're starting to get offended.
  100. >Still, probably not a good idea to pick a fight with the pony treating you, especially after what happened earlier, so you just nod politely.
  101. >The unicorn's horn glows, so do the ropes that bind you, and within 10 seconds you wear untied.
  102. >"Alright, little guy, I'm just going to perform a physical exam and Twinkle is free to take you home," Dr. Goodall says to you, in her soothing manner.
  103. >Okay. Now you ARE offended. You keep your mouth shut though, for obvious reasons.
  104. >"Okay Twinkle, can you help me with his clothes?"
  105. >Twiinkle starts to move towards you.
  106. "Um, excuse me?"
  107. >"Oh, I need to be able to examine you, and I can't very well do that while you have clothes on."
  108. >Fucking pony thinks you're retarded.
  109. "No, I got that. What I mean is, how about asking me if that's okay?"
  110. >Dr. Goodall looks at you confused.
  111. "Look. I mean no offense, but nudity, where I come from, it is required that one asks before removing a person's clothes."
  112. >She clearly doesn't get why this is, but not wanting to upset you she asks your permission.
  113. "I'm going to have to say no. It's just that I feel no pain, and I just saw my own doctor, a HUMAN doctor, back when I was still in the land I come from."
  114. >Twinkle speaks up. "Anon, you need to let the vet examine you. What if there is something wrong?"
  115. "Twinkle, I appreciate the concern, I do, but here's the thing; when has she EVER examined a human before? Never. She wouldn't know if something is wrong if there was anything. What ever was wrong with me this morning, my body purged it. I feel much better now. Honest."
  116. >"Anon, I think-" Dr. Goodall begins to say.
  117. You cut her off. "Please, Dr. Goodall. I know you're trying to help, but really, I just need get my dog and be by myself a little bit. Please just let me go," you plead with her, the lump in your throat starting to return.
  118. >Dr. Goodall pauses to think for a moment before saying, "Okay, but Twinkle, I want you to bring him back for a follow-up in a week."
  119. >You're too emotionally drained to argue the follow-up.
  120. >Twinkle agrees and hangs back to talk with Dr. Goodall while you walk out into the hallway, before catching up.
  121.
  122. >After a minute you reach a closet with barking coming from behind it.
  123. >Without a word you walk over, knock on the door in the pattern you have always used to let Kite know it was you coming in, and open it.
  124. >Kite comes barreling out, a stops in front of you, her entire body wiggling and the biggest, happiest doggie grin even to meet the eyes of man.
  125. >You instantly feel better.
  126. >Leaning down to hug and pet her you say to her, "Come on, girl. Let's go."
  127.
  128. >The walk home is quiet.
  129. >Kite heels to your side without being told.
  130. >Twinkle trots along next to you on the other side.
  131. You break the silence. "I'm never going home, am I?"
  132. >There is a sharp intake of breath.
  133. >"Hasn't even been three days. I'm sure Twilight will come up with something," Twinkle offers.
  134. >You know she's just trying to give you hope.
  135. >It doesn't work and she can tell.
  136. >"Is it really that bad here though? The Princesses take good care of us here."
  137. >You think about this for a moment. You can't get past the fact that you're never going to fight with your sisters and brothers again.
  138. >You're never going to train with your Shifu again.
  139. >You'll never get to taste your mother's sunday meal, or share a drink with your father ever again.
  140. >You suddenly feel extremely depressed.
  141. >"Anon?"
  142. "Yeah?"
  143. >"Dr. Goodall told me that I should bring you to talk to her about all this, and I think I'm going to."
  144. >Okay. That's it. You've had a clusterfuck of a day, and you're sick and tired of this patronizing shit.
  145. "What makes you think that you can take me anywhere? What gives you the right to tell me what to do? I've know you for, as you said, less than three days! Who do you think you are treating me like some sort of child?" you spout at her angrily.
  146. >Twinkle looks taken aback. You've been nothing but polite, your earlier breakdown aside, but you can tell it's more than just that.
  147. >"I'm a pony. Look," she motions to her hind-quarters. There is what appears to be a tattoo on it" "I have a cutie mark. I'm sorry that your species isn't advanced enough to have them, but since mine is, it is my duty to take care of you," she shoots back.
  148. >In her voice you can tell that she is trying to be comforting and calming, but this just serves to infuriate you.
  149. "I don't have-" You pull off your shirt and turn around to show her your back.
  150. >On it there is a large tattoo involving a dragon, eagle, tiger and a ying-yang.
  151. "What's this look like? You think just because I don't show it off, I don't have one?" you snarl at her. You're bluffing of course, having no idea what a cutie mark is, but anger makes you convincing.
  152. >"I- I'm sorry. I didn't know... We're taught that only ponies have cutie marks," she replies with a slight tremor in her voice.
  153. >You put your shirt on.
  154. "It's fine."
  155. >The rest of the walk is in complete silence.
  156.
  157. >By the time you get back to Twinkle's house you're no longer angry at her, but you still don't talk to her and head straight upstairs.
  158. >The minute the door closes the flood gates open.
  159. >Every bit of sorrow and dispair you've gathered up over the fact that you're not going home pours out in a flood of tears.
  160. >You collapse onto Kite, who sits there stoicly, letting you unload onto her.
  161. >As you cry she pushes her nose through your hands and tries to lick your face.
  162. >What a good companion. At least you still have your best friend and loyal companion Kite with you.
  163. >An hour long self-pity fest later and you feel much better.
  164. >You realize that what Twinkle said was true.
  165. >From everything you've seen, their "Princesses" do in fact take very good care of the ponies.
  166. >You decide to go down and appologize.
  167. "Kite, stay."
  168.
  169. >You hear sobs from behind Twinkle's door, and the voice of Twilight... at least you think it's Twilight.
  170. >"... he doesn't hate you. He's just upset. "
  171. "B-but *sob* he w-was so angry! *sob* All I *choke* wanted to d-do... help!" She sounds really upset.
  172. >"He was just angry because he felt that he was being treated as less than he is. You yourself said he has a cutie mark on his back."
  173. "H-how will he ever *choke* forgive me?"
  174. >"It was a simple mistake. He'll forgive you." That's your cue.
  175.
  176. You knock on the door. "Excuse me, Twinkle? Hi Twilight. Can we talk?"
  177. >"See? I told you," Twilight smiles at Twinkle. "I'll let you two talk."
  178. "Thank you."
  179. >Twilight walks out of the room, shutting the door behind her.
  180. >"Where's Kite?" Twinkle asks, having calmed her sobs.
  181. >Her eyes are incredibly bloodshot.
  182. >She looks fairly vulnurable sitting on the couch.
  183. "She's upstairs. Listen, I want to appologize. I'm really sorry for the way I acted toward you. It's not your fault I'm here, and that's what it was all about."
  184. >"You're not mad at me?" she asks, perking up slightly.
  185. "No.. it was all me. Can you forgive me?" You can't look her in the eye you feel so bad.
  186. >"Of course" She smiles, but you don't register it.
  187. "Thanks..." you say as you turn to leave in defeat.
  188. >"Anon..?"
  189. >You turn to look at Twinkle.
  190. >"Do you want some dinner?"
  191. "That would be nice, yeah."
