>be swimming in ocean like any other Saturday

>decide to go sand dollar diving so you swim about 400 yards out

>just enough so you cant really make out any of the people on the beach, but whatever, your a strong swimmer and you dont afraid of any water

>after successfully catching 7 sand dollars you decide to swim back to shore and get some ice cream because fuck eating right

>you finally get close to the shore and it seems that instead of the normal Yankee tourists that crowd up your beach their are small cartoon ponys

>they are all over the beach

>just like people they are playing soccer, jumping in the water, and tanning

>how dose that even work

>as you start to walk out of the waves the beach ponys start to point at you and scream

>some are calling you a "sea monster" and others are gathering their young and fleeing

> several life guard ponies jump off their stands and rush over to you

>lucky then pushes a button on his office phone

>the door to the office then swings open and in walks in a dragon

>the dragon was a light orange color, and stood abot five foot tall

>the dragon starts to say something but is cut off by the chief

>out of instinct you lean in for a hand shake

>radar grabs your hand and gives a firm handshake that would even rival a cowboy

>the dragon picked up the letter off the table held it up in the air

>and he shot bright green fire out of his mouth and onto the letter

>the dragon then sent more green fire flying a out of his mouth along with a new letter that dropped onto lucky's desk

>as lucky picked up the letter, and radar finished his sentence

>"balefire so it doesn't burn up the paper

>lucky looks up at the two of you

>"princess clestia says she will be here tommrow morning"

>"until then you can stay here at the police station we'll give you one of the nice cells"

>you had thought he was joking when he said he was giving you a nice cell  

>it actually was a nice cell as far a prison cells go

>you didnt expect them too but they left the cell door open all night

 

>the next morning you woke up with a pain in your back and a ravenous hunger

>you hadn't realized it yet yet but you hadn't eater since yesterday morning

>you take a walk out of the cell and find the nearest clock

>its 7:00 o'clock

>it looks like most of the police ponies are here and working so you figure chief lucky is already here

>you go to start to walk past the other cells and up to luckys office when one of the caged ponies shouts

>one of the officers walks by and tells them to calm down and you supposed to be here

"well they have us all caged up but monsters can just walk free, that makes a whole lot of sense"

>you make your way up to luckys office and tap on the door and walk in

morning chief, any idea where i can get some food

>"well apparently we are discussing your presence over brunch with the princess"

great i could eat a horse

>it was a hard's night sleep mainly because the bed you were sleeping in was half as big as it need to be

>you had woken up early

>after that you decided to go for a run

>you loved running on the beach

>today was easy and you had even chatted with a blue earth pony while you worked

>at the end of the day your boss, a brown gruff pony, handed you an envelope with 100 bits in it

>you had guessed it was a good amount, but you still didn't have a very good knowledge of the equestrian monetary system

>you would have to go to the market district tomorrow, because every thing was closed when you got off
