  1. >You sit on the grass as you look off to the water
  2. >You’re under an old oak
  3. >Your feet sway back and forth on the mini cliff separating land from water
  4. >Both of your hands are behind your back, and angle yourself up
  5. >Your fingers are wrapped in between the soft grass and earth
  6. >Just a couple of inches under you is the clear water
  7. >You look under and see the sand, mud and a couple of small rocks inches under the surface of the water
  8. >You come here often when you just want up be alone, or to relax
  9. >You gaze at the stars; they always seem to surprise you, even though you’ve seen them a million times
  10. >Every time you look up, you feel as though you see something new, and that always gets you
  11. >You begin to wonder what it would be like
  12. >To live off on some different planet, or to travel amongst the stars
  13. >You wonder if anyone is out there, that maybe someone far off is wondering the same thing
  14. “Well to you out there, don't worry, I'm here, I’m alive and sure I have ups and downs but I’m living, and I’m happy, so you don’t have to think too hard"
  15. “Don’t think too hard.” You tell yourself
  16. >The cool night breeze, the crickets chirping, and the lush grass that bobbed up and down in waves
  17. >No one knew about this place, and you were gonna keep it this way
  18. >You would definitely show your girlfriend....if you ever had one
  19. >The thought made you a little sad, but soon after, you started smiling after realizing how simple life is without one
  20. >And besides, you wouldn't be able to get one anyways
  21. >You seem to have this special ability to be friend-zoned by any and every girl you know
  22. >You smile knowing that lucky girl will come along
  23. >It's a beautiful moonlit night
  24. >You look in the sky to your left at it
  25. >And a full moon to be exact
  26. >Because this, you're able to see the lake and surrounding tree line
  27. >The lake never looked this beautiful
  28. >The reflection of the moon ripples across the water
  29. >It illuminated the shore line to your right
  30. >Its feels like time is standing still
  31. >You want to live in this moment forever
  32. >As you look up, a shooting star appears
  33. >The sight makes you a little sad
  34. >You've seen many shooting stars in your lifetime, this would number the seventh
  35. >Your past wishes include asking for money or wishing for that awesome vacation you saw that one time on a commercial
  36. >You've wished for that extremely fast car......which name eludes you completely right now, and it kinda bothers you that you forgot
  37. >But out of all the trivial things you wish for there's one thing that was very important to you
  38. >Was
  39. >It was that one girl that you used to know
  40. >No it wasn’t that prep or that that hot girl that sat to your right in English class
  41. >It was that one derpy girl, the cute one
  42. >She was a little too young for you, but you had a feeling that somehow, she felt the same
  43. >You used to be neighbors when you were younger, then she moved
  44. >A couple of years later you ended up hanging out with your friend and his girlfriend
  45. >At his Gf’s house, you see that her little sister was hanging out with a familiar face
  46. >And there she was again, and you didn’t know how much you'd end up feeling for her
  47. >But that was years ago, you wasted three shooting stars on her
  48. >You even wished to have your first kiss with her
  49. >You look at this shooting star as it streaks across the sky with resentment
  50. >You still never had your first kiss
  51. >Just before this shooting star disappears you know exactly what you want
  52. >Even though you haven't said it yet, or even thought of it as a matter of fact
  53. >You feel it
  54. >You want to be proven wrong
  55. >That all those wishes weren't for nothing
  56. >That magic still exists and that amazing things can happen
  57. >Just then, something actually happens
  58. >Just under the moon, a circle of rainbows comes in to existence it was about two stories high
  59. >You lean in to look at it
  60. >It grew to one and a half meters in diameter
  61. >And just like that, with a flash, it vanished
  62. >That was enough to get you to believe again, as you look with wide eyes
  63. >It didn’t prepare you for what was to come
  64. >You then notice the outline of something
  65. >It must have come from inside the halo produced by the circles of rainbow
  66. >It’s traveling with speed and hits the water with a forceful slap, and then the whooshing sound of moving water that was displaced
  67. >In the second you were able to glance at it, you make out something
  68. >You could make our hair, and wings…you think
  69. >It was a little more than half your size
  70. >You have a delayed reaction as you look at the waves and water that splash up and around the hole as it closes
  71. >You try to process what just happened; from when you sat down gazing at the stars to this very moment
  72. >Try to
  73. >Something inside you emerges
  74. >It starts screaming at you
  75. >“GO GO GO!!!!”
  76. >You had to go in the water, you had to see it for yourself and that you couldn't waste any more time
  77. >Fuck processing shit
  78. >You slide off from where you sat without stopping to take your clothes off or your shoes.
  79. >You stride awkwardly as the water comes up to your knees
  80. >The water feels gentle and cool
  81. >You then start swimming
  82. >You make sure to keep the shore in view
  83. >There's no way you would be able to get out of the water from where your came from
  84. >Especially if you ended up having to drag something out
  85. >The shore was a little further away, but it had a gradual slope up and was definitely a better idea
  86. >You swim your way to where the impact happened
  87. >You take a deep breath and plunge into the water
  88. >It takes you a moment to adjust
  89. >You could see everything as clearly as if the water wasn't there
  90. >It was a 12 foot drop to the lake floor
  91. >You look around and see the most amazing sight
  92. >It looked unreal, but so real at the same time
  93. >The very first thing that catches your attention were those magnificent wings
  94. >They were outstretched, fully extended
  95. >It looked like an angel or a fallen angel.....a demon
  96. >You freeze up for a second and look at it in awe
  97. >Everything is still
  98. >You realize your holding your breath
  99. >Its sinking and you have to pull it up before you take your next breath
  100. >Getting closer, you notice hooves, it’s a four legged creature with wings
  101. >It’s seemed to have some humanistic features
  102. >Its front legs were stretched out like arms wide open
  103. >You grab one of its front legs and pull
  104. >Its extremely difficult because of the awkward position you’re in
  105. >You feel a choking sensation in your lungs, but you try not to think about it
  106. >You use all the strength in you to reach the surface
  107. >You exhale all the air in your lungs as you break the surface and quickly gasp
  108. >You’re breathing really hard trying to catch your breath
  109. >You catch your breath
  110. >You switch positions and now your arm is hugging its belly
  111. >You cannot breathe in this position, but you're able to swim faster
  112. >Your body is in over drive and your heart beats like crazy
  113. >You know it’s a life or death situation
  114. >The thing wasn't moving when you got to it
  115. >Again you feel like you have to gasp for air
  116. >You find the strength in you to push on
  117. >You then feel something slowing you down
  118. >The lake floor was coming up, and was tugging on its legs
  119. >You let go and crawl up to your feet and out of the water
  120. >You start to hyperventilate
  121. >Quickly, you turn around stick both your arms in the water
  122. >You grab its front legs and start dragging it to shore
  123. >As its face comes out of the water, you notice its rainbow colored hair
  124. >It shined bright in the moonlight
  125. >Although the hair was everywhere, most of it covered its face
  126. >You’re on the grass now
  127. >Just feet from the shore lines at a safe distance now
  128. >You drop to your knees
  129. >Your haven't stopped for a break, but now you're breathing hard and trying to think what you’re gonna do next
  130. >You place your ear on top its chest
  131. >You hold your breath and neither hear, nor feel anything
  132. >You then put your ears near its mouth but hear nothing
  133. >You confirm you previous thoughts, its dead
  134. >You have to resuscitate it
  135. >Your part its hair and see its lips
  136. >You see a small bloody cut on its lips
  137. >You move all its hair to the side to uncover its face
  138. >It has a couple of scrapes and scratches in its face
  139. >It was a she
  140. >She looked at peace
  141. >Like she finally found her rest, and she didn't need to struggle anymore
  142. >You start CPR
  143. >It’s been a long time since you've learned it in high school
  144. >leaning over, you breathe into her, and position yourself on top of her
  145. >You take both hands and place them on her chest, then take the palm of your left hands and position it where you think her heart is
  146. >putting your right hand on top of your left and interlace your fingers, You count as you compress her chest
  147. >“1
  148. >2
  149. >3
  150. >4”
  151. >You count under your breath
  152. >Your hands feel sticky and this is where you realize its blood
  153. >Her mane is soaked with blood and water.
  154. >You can't tell if it’s her blood or someone else’s
  155. >“30”
  156. >Your go in for another breath
  157. >In any other circumstance you would have felt awkward putting your lips close to anyone’s
  158. >“1
  159. >2
  160. >3
  161. >4”
  162. >You keep thinking to yourself, wondering what’s gonna happen next
  163. >Nothing is happing
  164. >mabye im doing it wrong! its been suck a while
  165. >In the back of your mind, you wonder if you’re doing it wrong
  166. >How long am I supposed to keep it up?
  167. >At a certain point is it useless??
  168. >“30”
  169. >You go in for another breath, and to you shock, water rushes in to your mouth
  170. >She alive, and coughing up water
  171. >being caught of guard, you nearly fall backwards
  172. >In my mouth!!
  173. >Your coughing up water, she’s coughing up water
  174. >What an awkward sight you're thinking
  175. >Still coughing a little, you get behind her, and pick up her shoulders then adjust her so that she’s sitting up-right
  176. >She grows more conscious and you put your arm around her belly to make sure she doesn’t fall
  177. >She regains her strength
  178. >fear and rage envelops her
  179. >with a sudden outburst, you hear her screams
  180. >“GET OFF ME!!!!”
  181. >She uses her wings to push you back
  182. >the force of it knocks you down, but you do not lose sight of her
  183. >finaly, as she turns quickly and you see her eyes for the first time
  184. >They are an amazing rosy hue
  185. >She looks at you for a second
  186. >It feels way longer
  187. >She is bewildered by your sight, and then all of her thoughts come back
  188. >She winces at the pain she is in
  189. >>be Rainbow Dash<<
  190. >my body hurts everywhere
  191. >Flashes come up in your head, you remember the pain you were in and who caused it, then you feel something around your waist and you can’t stop coughing
  192. >Water?!??
  193. >You have no idea where you are, but you're scared and just want to fly
  194. >Fly
  195. >And never look back
  196. >You now realize you're being held, and to this you get angry….even though you’re scared as hell
  197. >With all the force you can muster
  198. >“GET OFF ME!!!!”
  199. >You stretch your wings out, they feel numb, but you know you’re moving them
  200. >The thing that was holding on to you is knocked back
  201. >What you thought would be a quick glance was not
  202. >It stops you dead in your tracks
  203. >Sacred, confused, you’ve never see anything like it
  204. >As you look, you don’t want to turn away…for some reason, but your conscious yells at you to fly away, fly as fast as you can
  205. >Think later!
  206. >Get the Fuck out of here!
  207. >MOVE you tell yourself as you turn and take a couple of strides and jump
  208. >You open you wings, and your left flaps, but your right does not
  209. >Its broken, and you feel the shock waves all throughout your body
  210. >>be Anon<<
  211. >It talked!?!!
  212. >She talked
  213. >You watch as the creature tries to run, it then opens it's wings and jumps
  214. >Part of you is scared of what’s to come, what if you never end up seeing it again?
  215. >Look at it's condition
  216. >She**
  217. >One of the wings folds under the pressure and she falls to the ground
  218. >You get up and slowly walk to it
  219. >It starts struggling to get up, flap its wings sporadically
  220. >>be Rainbow Dash<<
  221. >Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck
  222. >You’re on the ground
  223. >Running on shear will power, you shake as you bring yourself to your knees
  224. >Your flapping as hard as you can, the pain is incredible
  225. >With each forcefull gust of wind and each shock wave of pure pain, you are brought closer to tears, your body has given up on you but you keep doing it
  226. >You’re consciously putting yourself in extreme pain because you want to hurt yourself more
  227. >I guess to punish your body for giving up on you
  228. >Emotions fill your eyes with tears, not the pain
  229. >Everything starts turning fuzzy and dimming out, darker then the starlit sky is gone
  230. >You try to get up to your feet and as you do your body completely quits
  231. >Try as you might, you longer move anything, and your body falls onto the soft grass
  232. >Pitch black...everything is Pitch black!
  233. >Tears still stream down your furry cheeks
  234. >You can smell the scent of grass and earth and feel its softness on your face
  235. >then... nothing
  236. >You’re unconscious
  237. >>be Anon<<
  238. >Oh gods, its flapping its wings
  239. >Maybe it was a fluke, maybe it’s actually gonna fly now
  240. >Maybe I’ll never see it again
  241. >A part of you is selfish hoping that it will fail
  242. >the fact that you don’t want it to leave The thought of your life going back to normal scares you
  243. >HER**
  244. >Her wings keep fluttering, but do nothing
  245. >She gets to her knees
  246. >You’re scared to get any closer but you inch your way up, and see her glance at you, you can see the glow of her tears reflecting in the moonlight
  247. >You then notice that one of the wings, although flapping, was not fully erect, its most likly factures or even borken
  248. >She gets up, and looks like she going to run, but instead she falls face first to the ground
  249. >Her breathing sounds like a bull, you almost don't want to step any closer
  250. >You go around her and see her face….her eyes are wide open staring into space
  251. >They were eyes you’ve never seen before, beautiful
  252. >Her breathing starts to slow and she closes them
  253. >She's knocked out cold, thank god shes still breathing though
  254. >You're left there wondering what to do
  255. >Well leaving her here isn't an option, and you kneel to your knees as you roll her over onto her back
  256. >You put your left arm under her neck and your right arm under her legs and get up
  257. >Her wing extends to the ground and you’re caught off balance
  258. >You take off your long sleeve shirt
  259. >You grab the sleeve and wrap them around her; it would be more than enough length
  260. >You get over and proceed to lift her up just as you did before
  261. >It’s a walk to my car
  262. AND IT WAS ALL A DREAM
