  1. Perhaps you are still browsing this thread when this post is made, and your phone goes off, yelling at you to answer the call of an unlisted number. The strange forces of fate drive your hand to pick it up, and the first words uttered from the speakers send a chill down your spine.
  2.
  3. "You are being followed. Follow my instructions, if you want to survive."
  4.
  5. You make a frantic circle around the room with your phone pressed firmly against your head, checking any and all areas of entry for cracks or gaps for the signs of an intruder. Nothing could be found. Suddenly, there is a knock at your door.
  6.
  7. "Let me in. I need to have a talk with you."
  8.
  9. The caller barks an order at you. "Whatever you do, do not open that door. Climb out of the window to your right, and take the fire escape."
  10.
  11. Following the phone's orders, you hop out of the window, and start your way down the fire escape. Behind you, a dull, rhythmic thud can be heard from your window, followed by the sharp crackling of splitting wood. You hasten your escape, and when you reach the bottom, the phone begins to shout directions.
  12.
  13. "Go on, left! Right! Straight ahead! Into that restaurant!"
  14.
  15. With a heroic yelp, you tumble through the revolving door of what seems to be a fancy Italian restaurant. The employees stare at you with a curious expression as you make a mad dash for the kitchen.
  16.
  17. "Through the kitchen, now! Turn on the gas on your way out, but do not, I repeat, do not ignite it!"
  18.
  19. You follow his orders, but accidentally trip over a stray pan, and tumble through the metal doors.
  20.
  21. "Get off your ass, and move!" The phone shouts, before being rudely interrupted by an exploding kitchen. The doors are blown off their hinges, and shield your body from the roaring flames. As the ringing in your ears fades away, you hear someone singing your name.
  22.
  23. "Come on out, I know you're hiding."
  24.
  25. The phone buzzes in. "What the hell just happened?! Sweet Ilias, she's right next to you! Head [BZZZZT], HEAD [BZZZZZT]!"
  26.
  27. Oh god, I'm gonna die!
  28.
  29. In a panicked fit, you throw your phone off to the side, and kick the door away from you.
  30.
  31. "Ah, there you are!"
  32.
  33. Shit. Well, at least you can get a good look at your pursuer before you die.
  34.
  35. Before you stands a womanly figure, with a slightly cocked head, and green scales on the sides of her face. Her legs are nothing more than a scaly green tail. She has humanoid arms, which are crossed over her wedding dress.
  36.
  37. "Like what you see?" She asks with a seductive wag of the tongue. "Because I certainly like what I'm seeing." Her eyes widen, and smoke leaks from her nostrils as she smiles, and slithers toward you.
  38.
  39. Mother of Ilias, this thing is crazy. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's damn good-looking, but she is certainly not waifu material. It doesn't look like she cares about your phone, though. Perhaps you could distract her.
  40.
  41. Gathering your inner strength, your clutch the metal door with both of your mighty fists, and hurl it in the monster's direction. Normally, you'd yell out a snazzy one-liner, but you couldn't think of one on time. You roll toward your phone when the lamia shifts her attention toward the door.
  42.
  43. The lamia opens her mouth, and catches the door by her teeth, and takes a healthy bite out of it. Meanwhile, you've already got the phone pressed firmly against your ear. After a short delay, the phone barks out another order.
  44.
  45. "Run."
  46.
  47. You run away from the deranged lamia. You lose sight of her, but you know that you haven't escaped.
  48.
  49. "Go into that building, and head for the roof. Do not take the elevator."
  50.
  51. Much to your dismay, this building is approximately thirty stories (or storeys) high.
  52.
  53. You let out a pained sigh, and begin your ascent up thirty flights of stairs. The stairs seem to trail on endlessly. You wonder if maybe, just maybe, this is all an illusion. A spiritual journey that your mind has set you upon. Perhaps you should not seek escape, but enlightenment. Are you really fighting for your life? What are you fighting for, if you are even fighting at all? You stop to catch your breath, and the deranged lamia bursts through the wall, hissing furiously. No, this certainly isn't an inner pilgrimage.
  54.
  55. With a fresh burst of adrenaline, you sprint up more flights of stairs, with the lamia hot on your trail.
  56.
  57. "Ssssstop running, or I'll have to hurt you!"
  58.
  59. Like hell you're gonna stop running. Who in their right mind wouldn't run from a deranged, metal-chomping gorgon? Well, other than some kind of deviant.
  60.
  61. The lamia opens her mouth, and sprays forth a stream of molten metal that tags your shoulder, and sets your clothes ablaze. Abandoning your clothing, you praise Ilias for giving humans a temporary insensitivity to pain in times like this.
  62.
  63. You make it to the top of the building, where a helicopter with a mildly distressed pilot awaits you. Grabbing onto the ladder, your nude body dangles as you are carried away to safety. After landing on a remote island, the helicopter pilot removes her helmet, revealing a pair of fuzzy, foxy ears.
  64.
  65. You are overcome by a strong wave of exhaustion as the helicopter touches down. The last thing you hear is the distressed yelp of the helicopter pilot when she sees you tumble onto the coarse sand. A distant, unfamiliar memory calls out to you.
  66.
  67. “...Vinthent.”
  68.
  69. Vinthent? Is that your name? You open your eyes. The sun's absurdly bright light blinds you momentarily, bringing back a faint memory of your identity.
  70.
  71. Your name is Vincent. You're an indoors-only kind of person, and as such, you're not very fond of the light. Your cold, calculated expressions and actions have scared off everyone who has ever wanted to befriend you. Well, not 'everyone'.
  72.
  73. “Vinthent? Are you okay?”
  74.
  75. That one person, who just so happens to be hovering over your lying body, is Ca...Ca...
  76.
  77. “Vinthent? Are you thtill alive?”
  78.
  79. Okay, you know that her name has a 'Ca' in there somewhere. She's probably not a very important person. You let her know that you are, in fact, alive.
  80.
  81. “Phew. Thank goodneth. For a thecond, I thought I had killed you.”
  82.
  83. You don't understand what she's talking about. You have no visible injuries, and you don't feel ill. You ask her about what happened.
  84.
  85. “It wath awful! Thothe mean guyth cornered you in the hallway, and they beat you until you pathed out!”
  86.
  87. You wonder how you could've made friends with such a terrible liar. You decide to have a little fun with her, and ask how she was involved in that story.
  88.
  89. “Don't you remember? Thothe guyth were jealouth of you. I don't thee why they wouldn't be. After all, you've got thuch a cute, thekthy girl at your heelth.”
  90.
  91. Jokingly, you ask her about the 'pretty girl'.
  92.
  93. “What?! You don't know about her? How hard did thothe bullieth hit you? A-anyway, maybe you're better off not knowing her. Sssshe'th thuch a bitch. Y-y'know, maybe we could-”
  94.
  95. You interrupt her rambling with another question. This time, you ask her about the lack of visible damage to your body.
  96.
  97. “Oh, that. Well, I... er... y'know... did 'that' to you.”
  98.
  99. You patiently wait for her to provide a straightforward answer.
  100.
  101. “Oh, come on! Can we go one day without you prething me for information?”
  102. You shake your head.
  103.
  104. “F-fine! I ssssshared a few intimate momentth with your unconchuth body, and nurthed you back to health.”
  105.
  106. You pray to Ilias that her use of 'intimate' is hyperbolic. To give your first to a lamia...
  107.
  108. Wait. Lamia? Your true self tugs at your sleeve, but you do not move. The scenery around you fades, and you now stand before 'Ca'-whosawhatsit in a large classroom, with a herd of students behind you. 'Ca'-what'sherface brings a megaphone up to her mouth, and broadcasts a message that echoes throughout the entire school.
  109.
  110. “ATTENTION, THTUDENTTH. MY NAME ITH CATHANDRA ████████, AND I LOVE VINTHENT VERY MUCH. DO NOT COME NEAR MY VINTHENT, OR YOU WILL BE PUNITHCHED. UNDERTHTAND?” Dropping the megaphone, she runs up to you, and hugs you tight. With an expression of raw, unfiltered lust, she asks you a critical question. “Vinthent, do you love me?”
  111.
  112. This is your most important day. Do not fail.
  113.
  114. You tell Cassandra that you're not interested in being anything more than friends.
  115.
  116. With a banshee-like shriek of despair, Cassandra flees the premises.
  117.
  118. Now is the time. Do not fail.
  119.
  120. Almost immediately after she leaves the classroom, you head downstairs, to the room below, and leap out of the window. You land perfectly unharmed, until Cassandra slams on top of your body, and shatters your delicate frame.
  121.
  122. You awaken from the trance-like state, sitting before the helicopter pilot. It is late at night, and a campfire crackles between the two of you. You ask the pilot where she has taken you.
  123.
  124. “Why, you're on Lady Cassandra's Island Resort! I was given orders- and plenty of money- to bring you here. By the way, what's your name?”
  125.
  126. You tell her that your name is 'Dot'.
  127.
  128. Wanna contact me? Hate my guts? Wanna complain about the lack of smut? Is it kitsune time already? [email protected]
