Azurill in Equestria (Day 1)

You have come to the end of your life. You are about to close your eyes for the last time when a figure appears in front of you. He gives you an offer for your soul to be transported to Equestria. However, there is a catch; you will not be human in Equestria and you cannot reincarnate into a pony.

 

"I want to be an Azurill!"

>The figure gives you a puzzled look, probably questioning why you want to be a Pokemon

>He nods, and steps back

>He raises his scythe, and removes your soul from your body

>As you go higher and your body gets smaller, you feel yourself slowly leaving this dimension

>You're positive you heard him say "welcome back to the ride"

>You are finally able to leave this world and fulfil your dream

>Eventually you arrive at your destination

>You didn't arrive on solid ground though

>You hit the ground with an ungraceful thud

>It takes a few minutes to feel better

>Looking around, you see that you are not too far from Ponyville

>You aren't too far from Canterlot either

 

>You hear a noise behind you

>It's Cadence

>A dragon is behind her

>"You picked the wrong day for a stroll, missy."

>"Get away from me, you criminal!"

>"You aren't much without you precious Shiny, are you?"

>You decide to try and take hold of the matter

"Let her go!"

>They both turn around

>"Oh look at this little thing."

>The dragon picks you up

>"Let go of him!"

>"Oh? Well why didn't you say so?"

>His foot moves backwards

>This won't end well

>His grip on you is released, and you are battered by a kick sending you flying

>You land on the floor with a bounce

>Before you black out, you see Shining Armor leap over you

>"Cadence!"

 

>You awaken on a hospital bed, presumably in Canterlot, given that the nearest ponies to you when you black out were royalty

>"Oh, you're awake!"

"How long have I been here?"

>"Just over a few hours, you were carried here by Princess Cadence shortly after you passed out."

>Even though you're a Pokemon, people can still understand you

>"What's your name anyway?"

>You decide against using your old name, as this is a new life, a new ride

>Instantly a new name appears in your head, as if by magic

"My name is Penor Muffin."

>"Strange name."

"Where I came from, I don't share the same naming customs as you do."

>"Well, now we know everything is fine, I suppose we can let you go."

>Cadence is waiting just outside

>"You OK?"

"Yes, I'm fine"

>"Wanna stay around longer? I'll show you around town if you like"

>Cue montage of you and Cadence at different landmarks around the city, including inside the castle

>The tour ends just outside the castle

>"Got anywhere to sleep for the night?"

"No."

>"There may be a few spare rooms in the castle to use, if you want to."

 

>Wait a minute

>You're a Pokemon in Equestria and nobody has questioned what you are yet

"Any reason why nobody has asked me what I am?"

>"There are so many different species in Equestria, some stranger than others, and it wouldn't be a surprise if there are more from different lands."

"So where is this room I'm going to be in?"

>The corridors seem to stretch on forever

>"It's in here."

>It's an unimpressive spare bedroom with one bed

>Better than nothing

>"You don't have leave early in the morning."

"Wasn't planning on it."

>"Want anything to eat?"

>With perfect timing, your stomach rumbles

"I guess so."

>"Do you have any specific diet?"

"No, just take whatever is there."

>She comes back with a sandwich

>It's actually not that bad

 

>It's dark now

>Only thing to do now is sleep

>You're tired from the events of the day

>Eventually you find yourself drifting out of reality

>Everything goes dark and you're asleep
