  2. >You went back to the source of the voice.
  3. "Yes, Luna?"
  4. >She shuffled uncomfortably in her bed.
  5. >"The covers make me feel too hot."
  6. "I'm sorry, but you need them. Your temperature could change drastically if you took them off. Drink some more water if you need to."
  7. >You took the pitcher on her nightstand and poured her a glass.
  8. >Luna had caught some kind of bad fever last week, and it still hit her real bad.
  9. >So you'd been her helper throughout the illness' run.
  10. >She tried to take the glass in her magic, but was too weak.
  11. >You brought the glass over to her and let her take it in her hooves.
  12. >She tilted her head back and let the water run down into her mouth as she swallowed.
  13. >She handed you the glass, and you set it back on her nightstand.

  15. >Her voice was weak.
  16. "Yes?"
  17. >"Could you bring me more of your soup? I feel incredibly cold now..."
  18. "Yeah, I'll get it for you."
  19. >You went outside and reached under the tray you rolled around for this occasion.
  20. >The thermos was on the bottom shelf.
  21. >You poured some soup into a bowl, still piping hot, and grabbed a spoon.
  22. >Going back into the room, you carry the bowl to the sick night princess.
  23. "Here."
  24. >You dip the spoon into the bowl and get a bit of soup onto it.
  25. >You bring the spoon to Luna's lips.
  26. >She smells it (how little she can, anyways) and sips at it.
  27. >She smacks her lips lightly.
  28. >"Thank you, Anonymous. I appreciate you being so devoted to helping me."
  29. "Hey, anything for you, Luna."
  30. >You fed her half the bowl of soup, little by little.
  31. >She shivered between slurps.
  32. >"Okay, I think that's enough," she had said when she was done.
  33. >Now, her baggy eyes blinked slowly.
  34. >She yawned.
  35. >"I think I'll take a rest now..."
  36. >She pulled the covers of her bed tighter onto herself to keep warm.
  37. >She still shivered.
  38. >You went back out to your cart and grabbed an extra blanket.
  39. >You walked back in and laid the blanket on her.
  40. >She stopped shivering and fell asleep immediately afterwards.
  41. >You smile at the peaceful sight, despite the circumstances.
  42. >Her breathing slowed, and she was in a deep slumber by now.
  43. >You left the room, but remained vigilant for the next time she would call for you.
  44. >You wanted her to get better ASAP, and you would make sure she did.
