Title: Grysler's background Author: White_light Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/nZZL9zyW First Edit: Thursday 27th of August 2015 01:33:59 PM CDT Last Edit: Last edit on: Friday 4th of September 2015 05:26:31 PM CDT Despite his young age and inexperience compared to most other Talons, Grysler is one of the most entrusted gryphon scouts when it comes to keeping an eye on the equestrian wasteland for the Talons of Junction R7 or the nearby settlements, despite there being older, more experienced ponies/gryphons around, he frequently showed to be able to keep up with most in the scouting and survival department, Be it for scouting missions or scavenging through the rubble. Frequently trudging along the alleys, off the beaten path, and amok the dead plains to seek out points of interest, He had good pair of eyes, big ears and a steady aim, which made him popular among caravaners looking for a more experienced escort. Despite being affiliated with the Talons from birth and taking contracts with them he never really tried to settle in the Talon compound that was in Junction R7 or actively work in tandem with them, he preferred wandering the wasteland by himself, never stopping in one place more than necessary other than to unload/load supplies to a caravan or at a settlement, making pictures in a small shabby handbook and referring his findings for a small fee to anypony on the way or to the Talons, he loved his job. When news of the Badlands Talons asking for help came to Junction R7, offering a rather hefty payment as well, he was almost euphoric. He had never been to the badlands and had only as much as briefly glanced over it on the regional maps before, or heard rumors about Oasis here and there when the caravans arrived from it. Despite not really having experienced a desert before he eagerly accepted the contract with a grin on his beak, confident in his abilities of being able to help. And after giving a brief goodbye to her gruff old father he took as many supplies he could afford for the travel before awkwardly "flying" to meet the next Oasis caravan going to the badlands.
