Controlled Chaos (DISCONTINUED)

>It's that time of year again.

>You're visiting Canterlot for Hearths Warming Eve.

>It's always a nice place, even if you're not the biggest fan of the city.

>The girls weren't performing this year but they still wanted to see the play, you're also looking out for a nice gift.

>After a nice day of looking at gifts and tromping around in the snow, you and Shy decide to take a walk through the royal gardens.

>As you two walk about taking in the scenery, you stumble across 2 guards arguing in the area with all the statues.

>You have no idea what they're on about at first, but once you realize they're both guard captains, you figure it's probably a over who's the better leader or some such.

>Whatever the reason, it's getting pretty heated.

>You'd rather not get involved, but you're starting to worry you may have to, when suddenly, it moves to blows.

>The earth one quickly dominates the pegasus by holding him down.

>You move in to break it up, but you're beaten to it by a crashing sound.

>The guards join you and Shy in looking around, duty beating out pride.

>The noise is coming from Discord's prison.

>The guards go wide-eyed and run....to rally the troops you hope.

>Shy just keeps muttering "nononononononono"

>You pick her up and run to find the others.

>Nobody quite knew how he escaped last time, but now you have an idea.

I've mentioned to Celestia a thousand times to move that fucking thing.

 

>As you bolt to the throne room, you see Discord fly away overhead.

>Celestia was waiting for you, the guards got there first.

>Twilight, AJ, and Rarity are promptly arrive, Pinkie and Dash aren't there yet.

>You accompany them to retrieve the elements.

>Discord is there. He smashes the elements and teleports the remains out and Dash and Pinkie in.

>They're grayed out, Pinkie is making threats of violence against Dash for ignoring her.

>They're once more teleported away, you have no idea where, along with the princesses.

>Discord then runs and begins changing the land.

>TS: Alright everyp0ny, we need to find the others and get them back to normal, and we need to find what's left of the elements, hopefully we can repair them.

>TS: Rarity and I will split up and search the town. Applejack, you handle the gardens. Fluttershy, you and Anon search the castle.

Is it really a good idea to split up? How will we find each oth-

>TS: Alright, go.

>And they're off.

Well Shy, let's get searching.

>FS: Al...alright.

 

>You look for HOURS.

Nothing, does Celestia really need all this shit? Most of it seems to be empty space.

>You return to the throne room.

>DC: Well hello there.

>He wasn't there a second ago.

>You whirl around. Shy has been magically bound to the wall. She's trying to speak, but can't.

>DC: The others are down Fluttershy....You were the only one I couldn't break last time.

>DC: But I know how to do it this time! *SNIFF* Can you smell the love? Because I can.

What....what are you talking about?

>He grins.

>DC: Why, I'm gonna tear you apart while she watches! I can sense how she feels about you, so it's perfect.

>DC: Oh don't be upset. You're a new race, was gonna tear you apart anyway, *He motions to his mismatched body* so I can get your species abilities.

>He gets right in your face.

>DC: Why, you should feel lucky.

>He's much bigger than you, but you're gonna fight anyway.

>You grab his horns and before he can react, you twist with all your might.

*CRACK*

>His neck breaks, and Discord slumps to the ground, dead.

 

>Suddenly, a strange energy shoots from his corpse and engulfs you.

>You're on your knees, and your head is throbbing.

>The last thing you see as you fade out is the world returning to normal and Shy galloping towards you.

>You wake to a the princesses and the girls standing over you, along with MANY guards.

>You note that all of them seem upset, including a few guards who you know.

>Shy especially seems to be doing everything she can not to cry.

UGH MY HEAD! What's going on?

>Shy perks up and throws herself into a hug on you, only to be pulled away by Celestia.

>PC: BACK! We can't be sure of that....thing.

>Tears are now rolling down her eyes.

Does...anyone care to explain what's going on?

>TS: He seems to be the same. He looks the same, talks the same, I think acts the same.

>PL: Tis deceit, it attempts to fool us.

>PC: Anonymous, stay put and I will explain.

>You decide it's best to do as told for now, and stay where you are.

>The others step back, allowing you a look around.

>You're in a large room devoid of decoration, it lacks any windows to the outside, save for a large one way window by the door. The door is large, secure, and metal.

>There's a toilet and shower with a privacy screen, a chair, and the simple bed you're laying on.

>This is a cell.

 

This is a cell! The hell is going on here Celestia?

>PC: You killed Discord.

So? Was I supposed to let him tear me apart?

>PC: You're not in trouble for murder. The problem is that Discord is a god, he can't be killed.

He obviously can, because I did it.

>PC: I mean, when his body dies, he just possesses a new one and keeps going.. We couldn't kill him, so we had to contain him.

>PL: Tis why we had to raise the elements against him.

>PC: Yes, but with you, something seems to have gone wrong. Seems. Normally, he instantly takes over, but you passed out and seem to still be yourself.

So can I go then?

>PL: We must run many tests to ensure that this tis not a trick.

>The door opens, and Shining Armor trots in.

>PC: Excellent, we now have some of the strongest mages here. I assume you all know what to do.

>They all nod. Celestia, Luna, Shining, and Twilight all charge their horns and begin just, hovering them over you.

What are you doing.

>PC: Scanning you.

>They finish and look at each other. Celestia's face hardened.

>PC: You're giving off intense amounts of magic. You didn't give off ANY before, but now you're seeping it. Yet, other than that, everything about you is the same.

So what does that mean for me.

>PC: I'm unsure, there's no traces of Discord himself, or.....ANYTHING besides the magic. I believe it would be best to hold you.

 

Hold me? For how long?

>PC: I'm unsure.

What about Shy?

>Celestia takes a moment to think.

>PC: If she's comfortable doing so, she will be allowed normal and *ahem* conjugal visits.

>Shy jumps onto the bed and embraces you once again, you return it. Nobody breaks you up this time.

>PC: Alright, first test, I want you to try using a power.

Like what?

>PP: OOOOOH! ME! He always made cotton candy clouds that rained chocolate milk! Try that! Please? Please please please?

>PC: Sounds innocent enough, try it.

>You wonder how. You decide to just focus on it, imagine it.

*POOF*

>Everyone looks around.

>PP: Aww, you couldn't....wait, I smell it....

>She begins running in circles tracking the smell until she falls on her back. The tip of her mane lands in her mouth.

>PP: Hmm? My mane is... *Chomp* CANDY!

>The bite chunk instantly grows back.

>PP: *GASP* SPLENDIFEROUS! UNLIMITED CANDY!

>She begins sucking on her mane, but goes wide eyed.

>PP: And it leaks chocolate milk!

>She almost teleports to you.

>PP: Thanks Anon! This is the best thing anyp0ny's ever given me ever!

>Rarity touches it.

>RT: And yet it's not sticky at all, impressive.

 

>TS: So how could Anon end up with Discord's power? Where's Discord.

>PC: Assuming he is Anon of course. Perhaps luck, something about Anon's species, or something about Discord "Not being part human yet" as Fluttershy mentioned.

>PC: But I'd guess it involves Anon's otherworldly origin. As for Discord, if his mind lost out to Anon's, then he's likely finally dead.

>PC: I lament celebrating anyp0ny's death, but Discord was a menace who ruined and mentally violated others for his amusement.

>If she's not in the cell, she's near.

>You're always being watched so you're not intimate often, rather just enjoying her company.

>You refine your new abilities, such as shape shifting. You still keep your normal form though.

>The changeling bit inside lets you get a little more from your time. It's no threat in moderation, and you sample rather than leech, so she doesn't mind.

>You occasionally sneak from your cell, it's supposed to be magic proofed, but it didn't work.

>At the end of the month, the elements have been reformed.

>PC: So they'll use the elements, if you're still you, you'll be fine, and you'll be free to go.

>The girls are ready, if hesitant. Shy especially is pouring tears.

>You see the rainbow coming. It hits and everything goes white and......

Nothing. I'm fine!

>Shy is already on you, hugging and kissing.

 

>PC: So as long as you don't cause undue mischief, you're free to go.

>PC: I really must thank you, as it stands, you've rid Equestria of one of it's worst and oldest menaces. I can trust we're not gaining a new one.

Don't worry, I've no desire to be trapped in stone.

>PC: One last thing...You're immortal now, so if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you.

>You look at Shy.

>You reach down and touch her. There's a flash and she's about a third larger.

>Fluttershy is now an alicorn.

You're not allowed to die on me Shy.

>She's shocked, but soon recovers and gives you a smile.

>FS: I wouldn't dream of it Anon.

>You set her on your back and start the long trip home.
