  1. First story, not sure how its going to turn out.
  2.
  3. >every morning was the same now
  4. >over 3 months since you woke up in the middle of some kind of enchanted forest
  5. >you get up and start your morning routine
  6. >shower, brush teeth, shave, cloth
  7. >it all seemed pretty useless, after all, everyone around you ran around naked all day anyways
  8. >though anyone might be the wrong word to use, considering "everyone" included pastel colored horses with tattoos on their asses
  9. >your house, a gift from celestia, was two stories and pretty average, with a few modifications that would make it easier for someone of your....height to walk through on a daily basis
  10. >as you walk into the kitchen to prepare your breakfast you notice a note left on your counter
  11. >you've been here long enough to know how to read pony writing, it was pretty much just cursive with a lot more squiggles and loops
  12. "Hey anon, are you still coming to the party for Apple Bloom's birthday? She was pretty excited when we told her you might be coming and it would be just awful if you didn't show up!"
  13. >instead of a signature or name, the bottom of the paper had a drawing of three brightly colored balloons
  14. >well pinkie obviously wanted you to come, and you owed it to your friends to at least show up and eat some cake, after all they're the reason you were able to adjust to life in this place
  15. >thinking back on the first few weeks here you remember how jarring the transition was, coupled with some weird flu-like illness and the weirdness of the whole situation, and you had the recipe for a mental breakdown
  16.
  17. >On the walk over to sugar cube corner, the sudden urge to reflect on your life here overtakes you
  18. >your house was bigger, more homey, and overall better than the one you had on earth
  19. >your job was much more interesting, fixing clocks and other mechanical devices, something your fingers were well suited for
  20. >your friends were....unique....
  21. >its hard to explain, other than the fact that they were talking horses
  22. >they just felt special, different, and overall more interesting than the others you met
  23. >you only really knew 3 ponies well enough to call them your close friends, but everyone around here seemed happy to call you their friend regardless of how long they had known you
  24. >first there was Rainbow Dash, a cyan colored pegasus bursting with energy and pride
  25. >she was the one who found you, wandering around on the outer rim of the forest you woke up in
  26. >after the initial shock of seeing not only a pegasus, but one that could talk, you unceremoniously lost consciousness
  27. >when you woke up you were in some kind of medical facility being tended to by even more talking horses
  28. >long story short you were treated for dehydration and kept in the hospital
  29. >during your stay you were visited by rainbow and one of her friends, rarity
  30. >rarity seemed pompous at first, but after you started to talk more and more you both warmed up to eachother
  31. >now she makes all of your clothes in return for help around her workshop and the occasional back rub
  32. >then there was pinkie
  33. >pinkie could best be described as an anomaly in space-time
  34. >apparently able to break the laws of physics out of sheer willpower, she decided to throw you a party when you were released
  35. >even though the party had to wait until after you had met with the ruling class, which ended very well much to your surprise, pinkie was still happy to bring you cupcakes and talk to you about parties from your home
  36.
  37. >through rainbow, rarity, and pinkie you met twilight sparkle, apple jack, spike, and fluttershy
  38. >at first you found it hard to say their names without snickering a little, but eventually you were shamed into keeping your mouth shut and accepting the different culture you have been plunged into
  39. >they seemed nice enough, but you didn't have much time to make a real connection with them
  40. >in between finding a job and finding a place to stay you didn't have time for much of anything
  41. >but now you found yourself settled and comfortable enough to risk taking time out to get to know new ponies
  42. >pinkie was ecstatic to hear this when you told her, so she decided to make it her job to introduce you to the whole town
  43. >she would drag you all over town starting conversations with ponies and then abruptly turn the conversation towards you
  44. >it usually ended up being about your height and hands, which were apparently very alien to the ponies you met
  45. >after that didn't work she started looking for new ways to get you to open up, the most recent of which was talking you up at various parties and getting you invited to other parties
  46.
  47. >this would be the first one you attended, mostly because by the time you finished work it was very late
  48. >there was a fucking massive amount of broken clocks in this town for some reason
  49. >with the backlog cleared and your calendar free you decided to indulge your friends and join in on their party
  50. >as you round the corner you see the party is in full swing, loud music and ponies galore
  51. >you decide to not burst in the door announcing your presence ala pinkie, deciding that you should scope out the scene through one of the windows before making your grandiose appearance
  52. >you look in one of the higher windows and look around, seeing at least 20 fillies and colts dancing around having a great time, including apple bloom, who had decided you were her favorite pony upon meeting you
  53. >further investigation rewarded you with a view of a table surrounded by your close friends and acquaintances
  54. >in between bites of cake and drinking you can see they are talking pretty animatedly
  55. >you decide to listen in on the conversation, whats the worst that could happen?
  56.
  57. "-can barely stand him! You guys brought him down to the farm and he kept stammering and avoiding lookin' at me! I've never seen anypony that pathetic in all my years in ponyville!"
  58. >despite not knowing her that well, her words hurt more than you would have thought possible, probably because you've become used to being around such friendly people during your time here
  59. >you continue listening and hear twilight speak up
  60. "Maybe that's just human nature, applejack. I've been reading a lot about monkeys recently to see if i could learn more about him and he seems to be what my books call a "beta-male", which means they're very submissive and prone to following orders. He seems more like a dumb animal than anything else, which is too bad because i was looking forward to learning something from him."
  61. >twilight never struck you as this much of a bitch in person, but what she's saying really hits a nerve
  62. >more hurtful words are being spoken, this time from fluttershy
  63. "I wouldn't call him a dumb animal, i happen to know a lot of dumb animals and they really put anon to shame!"
  64. >as they laugh you hear rarity speak up, finally someone is going to defend you!
  65. "Now now guys, it's not fair to compare fluttershy's creatures to anon. They're wild animals and from what anon tells me, he used to be part of a pretty civilized community, which surprises me because i couldn't find a single civilized thing about him! Aside from his hands i see no reason to even keep him around, save for a laugh now and again."
  66. >no...
  67.
  68. >your friends wouldn't say something like that about you, would they?
  69. >while you contemplate your next move rainbow speaks up
  70. "Hey i'm not very civilized, that doesn't make a pony bad-"
  71. >you feel relief at hearing this, at least someone is-
  72. "Being a lazy moron does!"
  73. >the blows keep coming
  74. >pinkie speaks up
  75. "Hey guys, i didn't invite all of you here to make fun of anon behind his back, i invited you guys here because i can't stand being around him without somepony else to see what i put up with!"
  76. >thats it then
  77. >you slump back and fall onto the ground, not sure what you're going to do next
  78.
  79. >you lie there for what seems like an eternity
  80. >why would they say those things about you?
  81. >weren't they supposed to be the elements of harmony? the essence of friendship and caring?
  82. >you are interrupted when you hear one of them say
  83. "Did anyone else hear that?"
  84. >shit
  85. "Yeah it sounded like a sack of apples hitting the ground"
  86. >you quickly get up and try to make your way around the corner of the building, but you can't seem to muster the strength to get up
  87. >you can see somepony looking through the window, eventually spotting you lying on the ground
  88. "is that.....anon?"
  89. >you reply by slowly standing, making sure to face away from the window
  90. >with a wave you start walking
  91. >you hear some kind of commotion and twilight speaking
  92. "Oh no, that was anon i think he heard-"
  93. >with that you turn a corner and can't hear the end of her sentence
  94. >hiding seems like the best option at this point, you can't do much of anything in your current state
  95. >numb, destitute, and friendless, you sulk away and hide from your life, from everyone you know
  96. >just like home
  97.
  98. >your "hiding place" is no more than a small outcropping of trees by your house, small enough to not get lost in, but large enough to obscure the view from the side and above
  99. >you expect to hear some kind of search party, or at the very least your group of "friends" walking around looking for you
  100. >nothing comes, not a single pony ventures out to look for you. you catch a glimpse of rainbow flying to your house and looking in a couple windows, but she quickly gives up and flies back to town.
  101. >why did this surprise you? what did you expect to happen after a lifetime of indifference and hate?
  102. >you are filled with question
  103. >questions that are threatening to consume your mind and heart
  104. >how long was this going to go on before they cut contact with you?
  105. >have they been like this since you arrived here?
  106. >was everything they told you a lie?
  107. >the questions pile on and on, no end in sight.
  108. >you sit against a tree for hours, until what little light was able to reach you vanishes
  109. >sleepiness slowly sets in as you slump further into the dirt
  110. >before you lose consciousness you have the unmistakable feel that you are now being watched, but you can't seem to bring yourself to care
  111.
  112. >you awake with gasp, coughing up a leaf and bolting upright
  113. >you dreamed of two dark blue eyes, staring at you intently
  114. >not a single blink or movement, they looked as if they could be glass eyes suspended in the air
  115. >for the longest time you started back, hoping to find meaning or answers, but nothing came
  116. >suddenly you felt a rush of emotions, both good and bad, flood your mind
  117. >that is when you woke
  118. >the events of the previous day come back to you like a tsunami
  119. >your "friends" had betrayed you, treated you like a joke, then seemingly dumped you as fast as they had befriended you
  120. >maybe the inhabitants of this world were no different from earth
  121. >if that was the case what point was there?
  122. >you had lost every connection you had when you came here, your family was out of reach and everything in your old life that comforted you was a distant memory at best
  123. >what point was there in living in a world where you were not only alone, but despised?
  124.
  125. >no
  126. >no, fuck that.
  127. >you are worth more than that, you are not worthless.
  128. >you deserve answers, you deserve a full explanation and apology.
  129. >standing up is more of a challenge than you thought it would be
  130. >stiff joints creak and crack as you stand and stretch
  131. >after a brief panic, you find your way out of the small outcropping and enter your house
  132. >mornings are boring
  133. >you think this repeatedly as you shower, brush your teeth, change cloths, and eat
  134. >mornings are boring, but this morning was going to be different.
  135. >looking out the window you see an overcast sky, filled with pegasi scrambling to disperse the clouds, to no effect
  136. "i wonder where rainbow dash is"
  137. >great now you're talking to yourself, this can only end well.
  138. >steeling your resolve, you throw open the door and start up the path leading into town
  139. >nobody gives you a second glance, most ponies around here know you and are generally accepting of your...different nature
  140. >you have a list, with the names of your six "friends" in order of the insults you heard
  141. >you feel confident you can get this done today, but the real question is: will the answers you get satisfy you, or crush you?
  142.
  143. >first on the list is that bitch with the apples on her ass
  144. >boy this should get real interesting real fast
  145. >walking through the archway that marks the entrance to sweet apple acres, you feel a tug on your pants
  146. >you look down and see apple bloom with a bucket of apples in her mouth, tugging on your jeans to get your attention
  147. "Hey apple bloom, whats up?"
  148. >she spits out the bucket and replies
  149. "Nothing much anon, say why did you miss my party last night? Pinkie said you would show up!"
  150. >she doesn't seem all that upset, but you feel pretty bad for missing her party
  151. "Sorry apple bloom, something happened and i couldn't make it."
  152. >she doesnt look satisfied with that answer, so you add
  153. "But i'll make it up to you, next week you can have me for a whole day, does that sound fair?"
  154. >she immediately smiles and nods, picking up her bucket
  155. "Say, is your sister around anywhere?"
  156. >she nods and points her hooves at the barn before trotting off to deliver the apples to wherever they needed to be
  157. >you make your way into the barn, making sure anyone inside knows that someone has entered
  158. "Just a second big mac I'm almost done with these"
  159. >you cut her off
  160. "Whats your problem with me, aj?"
  161. >you can't see her face, but she stops in her tracks at the sound of your voice
  162. "I want an answer, and i won't be leaving until i get one"
  163. >she shuffles around to face you, her eyes hidden behind her hat
  164.
  165. "I don' know what ta' say anon, i didn't know you were listenin' and i was just so caught up in the whole situation"
  166. >Not exactly what you wanted to hear, but its a start
  167. "Caught up in the situation? What the hell does that mean? do you guys always talk about me behind my back like that?"
  168. >she thinks for a moment before responding
  169. "No it isn't that sugar cube it-"
  170. >you interrupt
  171. "don't call me sugar cube."
  172. >she looks worried, but continues her sentence
  173. "alright, sorry anon. Its just that we're girls and we like to gossip, mind you we usually aren't so mean. Somepony just mentioned you and it kind of got out of control. I'm mighty sorry anon, I don't know if you can forgive me but I hope you'll try."
  174. >that wasn't exactly what you were expecting at all
  175. >you expected her to side-step the question and give you some bullshit answers
  176. >i guess being the embodiment of honestly is more literal than figurative
  177. "I'll think about it"
  178. >and with that edgy remark, you leave the barn and walk down path
  179. >thinking about what she said you realize that she was caught in a conversation she didn't start, and maybe wasn't completely interested in
  180. >time to go speak with book whore.
  181.
  182. >you walk up to the library and knock on the door, not knowing what to expect
  183. >spike opens the door and extends a fist, a gesture you reciprocate
  184. "Whats going on anon, you need a book?"
  185. >spike was your bro
  186. "no thanks spike, I'm here to speak with book who- i mean twilight."
  187. >whoops
  188. "oh alright, shes upstairs"
  189. >and with that he goes back to reading the comic book he was reading before you knocked
  190. >you close the door and walk upstairs, expecting to get a one on one with the book whore when to your surprise, you see flutterslut sitting with her on a comfy looking couch
  191. >twilight puts her book down and looks at you, an action fluttershy mirrors
  192. "oh h-hey anon"
  193. >they both speak at once, stuttering out of surprise
  194. "Are you guys going to tell me what your problems are with me or am i wasting my time here?"
  195. >fluttershy stares at her front hooves while twilight speaks up
  196. "Anon there is no need to jump to conclusions, we can explain"
  197. >exactly what you expected, she was going to try to pawn you off with some retarded story blaming it on her autism
  198. "Yeah why don't you go ahead and do that for this beta monkey, make sure you use small words so i don't get confused"
  199. >Twilight was now mirroring fluttershy, she obviously did not think you heard everything
  200. "I don't know what to say anon, the whole conversation started when rarity was talking about your hands and it went downhill from there"
  201. >my hands? what do my hands have to do with this?
  202. >fluttershy speaks up
  203. "It didn't start bad at all anon! We were talking about how talented you were with your hands when somepony started changing the subject."
  204. >gotta give it to her, she sounded very kind when she spoke, but after what she said you were unsure.
  205. "What about not comparing me to your animals? Aren't you supposed to be the embodiment of kindness?"
  206.
  207. >she responds quickly
  208. "Oh you heard that? I'm ever so sorry, I don't know what came over me! I was just repeating stuff that i was told, it was more of a joke than anything!"
  209. >she sounds genuinely apologetic, which makes you feel a little better
  210. >you look at twilight, waiting for her to chime in
  211. "Listen anon, we don't know each other very well and i'm not sure if you'll understand, but what i said was not meant as an insult."
  212. >okay, so twilight thinks you're stupid enough to fall for the old "I was just repeating facts!" trick
  213. "I admit calling you a dumb animal was uncalled for, but the rest was just what i pulled from my books. If it makes you feel any better about it i wasn't researching monkeys because i thought you were one, i was doing it because rainbow told me that's what you told her you were descended from!"
  214. >you recall vaguely mentioning monkeys to rainbow when you were talking about your history, but why would she tell twilight that when she knew full-well that i would take it as an insult?
  215. "If you're both sorry you'll prove it to me right now, alright?"
  216. >they look at each other and nod, standing up to listen to your request
  217. "I need to be able to walk on clouds, and i need to be able to get up to rainbow's house before the end of the day. Can you guys help me with that?"
  218. >they both nod
  219. "alright, its a deal then. I'll be back when i'm done talking to rarity and pinkie."
  220. >with that you turn around to leave when a pink ball of energy slams into your chest, throwing you to the floor with a loud thump
  221. "Hi anon! i was looking for you all night! where did you go?! You missed the whole party you silly monkey!"
  222.
  223. >twilight and fluttershy gasp
  224. >but you have a feeling pinkie didn't know what she just said, let alone meant to hurt you with it
  225. "Pinkie, who told you to call me a monkey?"
  226. >she tilts her head slightly
  227. "Rainbow dash, duh! Shes always poking fun at you and making up nicknames for you!"
  228. >you smile
  229. >thinking back on it, the way pinkie was talking it didn't sound like she was insulting you, it sounded like she was acting incredulous that you could be such a goofy guy.
  230. "Thanks pinky, that's all i needed to hear"
  231. >you pull her into a hug
  232. "Someones sappy! Say anon, apple bloom told me she was going to get you all to herself for a full day next week, why don't we have a party?!"
  233. >how could you ever think pinkie would be so callous to you? there isn't a single droplet of hate in her body.
  234. "Sure pinkie, that sounds great. I need to go have a word with rarity though, so we'll have to pick this up again some other time."
  235. >she looks a little upset, but goes back to smiling soon after
  236. "Alright silly, i'll be making a cake for the party if you need me!"
  237. >and with that she disappears out the door in a flurry of confetti
  238. >time to do see marshmallow bitch, can't wait to hear her explanation
  239.
  240. >you enter the boutique without knocking, its business hours so knocking would be redundant
  241. "One moment please, I'll be out in a second!"
  242. >you sit down in one of the small chairs littering the boutique, it creaks loudly
  243. "I said I'll be out in a moment! The nerve of some ponies..."
  244. >after waiting for a couple minutes you see rarity turning a corner, muttering about rude ponies interrupting her work
  245. >that's when the chair you're sitting on shatters and you bash your head on the counter
  246. >when you come to you are lying on a soft pile of fabric, with rarity fussing over the wound on your head
  247. "Oh dear oh dear oh dear, i am not good with this medicine stuff at all!"
  248. >open your eyes and look at her, apparently startling her
  249. "Oh goodness! Anon you scared me! Are you alright? I walk in and all I find is you bleeding on my floor! Do you have any idea how worried I was?"
  250. >this surprised you
  251. "I thought i was a stupid animal, only fit to be laughed at?"
  252. >she goes beet red with embarrassment
  253. "Oh you.....you heard that did you?"
  254. >she takes a deep breath
  255. "well you see anon i......well i was at the part and......uh well i was talking about your lovely hands when i got up to get a drink and.....well i don't know how to explain this..."
  256. >it might be the blood loss affecting your judgement, but you can't help but feel bad watching her stammer and otherwise struggle to speak
  257. "What, are you going to tell me you were drunk?"
  258. >she looks surprised
  259. "Yes! How did you know?"
  260. >you've never seen alcohol around here before, but i doubt she would be able to use it as an excuse if she didn't know what being drunk was
  261. "Rarity I've been here for months and i have never seen a single ounce of alcohol, why are you lying to me?"
  262. >thinking you have her trapped, you smirk
  263. "But you have anon, the apples sell alcoholic cider!"
  264. >wait what
  265.
  266. "Then why have we never drank it together?"
  267. >she looks confused
  268. "But we have! The first time you came to me to request some cloths we drank almost half a barrel!"
  269. >you remember that the cider tasted slightly different than cider back home, but it didn't taste alcoholic
  270. >then you remember how much smaller ponies are than people
  271. >now the massages make a lot more sense, rarity always seemed to get more mellow when she drank cider
  272. "So what, you got drunk and started trash talking me because it would be fun?"
  273. >she wets a piece of fabric and sponges the blood accumulating on your forehead
  274. "No, i was doing it to shut rainbow up! She kept going on and on about how you were a klutz and a brute and kept and i thought she would stop as soon if somepony agreed with her."
  275. >that is the most ridiculous thing you have heard so far
  276. "So you're telling me you got into an alcoholic drink, then insulted me to shut rainbow up?"
  277. >she nods
  278. >before you can reply you remember all the stupid shit you have done while drunk
  279. >like that time you had a fist fight with a snowman because he looked at you the wrong way
  280. >or the time you accidentally fell down two flights of stairs while trying to carry six glasses of punch
  281. "Alright I'm willing to believe you on one condition."
  282. >she smiles and continues treating your head wound
  283. "I want you to tell me how long this has been going on"
  284.
  285. >she perks up and finishes applying a large rectangle of gauze to you head
  286. "Well I would say it started the day after you were found, dash had come over and told me what happened. She seemed very energetic and excited and was talking about the strange clothing you were wearing."
  287. >you try to remember what was so special about your clothes but you continue listening
  288. "She kept begging me to come visit you, so i packed up my things and followed her to the hospital to see what the fuss was about."
  289. >she sits down next to you
  290. "When we got there and I saw you for the first time i was very confused, i thought she had been talking about another pony when she told me she found somepony outside the everfree forest! After i got a good look at you i noticed you were wearing clothes, so I assumed you were on your way somewhere important."
  291. >you may have forgotten ponies only wear clothes to special occasions
  292. "And rainbow was so excited to show me your shirt, so i she pulled back your covers and showed it to me. There was some kind of machine on it, but I was much more interested in the excellent stitching! It all looked so uniform and perfect that I wanted to ask you how they were done!"
  293. >you were confused when you heard this, after all ponies use sewing machines very similar to the ones used back home
  294. >then you realize
  295. >hands
  296. >hands are taken for granted by everyone, not many realizing how dexterous and useful they were. Perfect for straight stitching and working with small parts.
  297. "When we left dash just kept going on and on about your shirt and how you must be a flier, but since you didn't have any wings i had no idea what she was on about!"
  298. >she gets up and goes over to the counter, pulling out a mug to fill with cider
  299. "Do you want any, anon?"
  300. >lost in thought it takes you a moment to reply
  301. "No thanks, I'm good."
  302. >what was it about that shirt that she was so interested in?
  303. >then it hit you
  304. >the shirt you were wearing had an image of a jet flying through the clouds
  305.
  306. "Hey rarity i need to go, thanks for the apology and explanation."
  307. >she puts down the mug and waves
  308. "Dreadfully sorry about those awful things I said, I'll try to find a way to make it up to you!"
  309. >you walk out of the boutique towards the library
  310. >while walking you ponder over why rainbow dash would say all this shit about you behind your back to the other ponies, but not to your face?
  311. >and for that matter, why did the only two apologies that sounded legitimately apologetic come from rarity and pinkie (Despite her not needing to apologize)?
  312. >it was time to find out what was going on, one way or another you were going to get your answers before the end of the day.
  313. >you don't bother knocking, instead you open the door and go directly upstairs
  314. "Hey book wh- i mean twilight, fluttershy, i need those favors now"
  315. >they stop what they were doing, which appears to be related to the small white rabbit floating around the room, and look at you
  316. "Alright anon, i have a few spells that could help you. One will make you light as a feather so fluttershy here can lift you, and the other will make you able to walk on clouds. Am i missing anything?"
  317. >you hadn't thought of how fluttershy would be able to carry you to rainbow's house, good thing twilight thought of that.
  318. >after all the magic was done you felt different
  319. >very different
  320. >you could easily jump 5 feet, and you fell a lot slower than normal
  321. "Alright, these spells should last a few hours, so make sure you get back onto the ground before then or you're probably going to be in for a very nasty fall"
  322. >fluttershy flies above you, motioning for you to lift your arms
  323. "Good luck anon, hope you're not still upset with me about those things i said!"
  324. >you give her a false smile and a wave before fluttershy flies you through the sky towards rainbow's house
  325. >hopefully your search for answers is close to an end
  326.
  327. >you arrive at what can only be described as a palace made of clouds in minutes
  328. >you thank fluttershy as she drops you off on the clouds, as she leaves all you hear is stammered apologies and her wings slowly flapping
  329. >you take a deep breath as you walk over to the large door
  330. >you knock loudly, making sure that it can be heard throughout the property
  331. >there are multiple loud, sudden crashes along with muttered horse-swears along with a very angry sounding "hold on!"
  332. >you decide to keep knocking
  333. >after a few seconds the door flies open
  334. >there she is, standing right in front of you with her eyes wide open, staring in disbelief
  335. >rainbow cunt
  336. "A-anon hey whats up?"
  337. >you just stand there, staring
  338. "Err i'm sorry about what happened last night, thats why your here right?"
  339. >you enter her house without saying a word
  340. "Hey i didn't say you could come in, why won't you talk to me?"
  341. >there are no visible staircases, just balconies without guardrails around doorways
  342. >you jump from balcony to balcony thanks to the feather spell and eventually find what you assume is her room
  343. "Wow that's pretty cool, how are you doing that, anon?"
  344. >you continue ignoring her, eventually making your way to the horse equivalent of a closet
  345. >rainbow cunt starts getting nervous
  346. "Hey anon, thats private, what are you looking for?"
  347. >after some digging you find it
  348. >the shirt you came to this place in
  349.
  350. >you turn around and hold it up in front of her
  351. >she looks very embarrassed
  352. "Why do you have this"
  353. >no answer
  354. "Why have you been telling your friends its okay to call me a dumb monkey?"
  355. >she lowers her head, still no answer
  356. "You will either tell me what i want to know or i will jump off of this cloud right now."
  357. >risky business threatening someone with your own death, and only really effective if the person you are threatening has feelings for you
  358. >still no reply from rainbow cunt
  359. "Have it your way"
  360. >you jump down off of the balcony, rainbow following closely deep in thought
  361. >you make your way to the edge of the cloud and throw the shirt on the cloud next to you, it doesn't fall through for some reason
  362. >you turn around to look at rainbow, and make sure to make it look like you are going to say something
  363. >then you took a step back and started falling
  364.
  365. >now what happens next was expected
  366. >rainbow cunt yelled and then flew down to grab you
  367. >after she grabs you, you pry her hooves off of you, causing you to continue falling
  368. "Why are you doing this anon? What do you want?!"
  369. >she is visibly upset, most likely on the verge of tears
  370. "I want to know why!"
  371. >you yell back
  372. >a few seconds pass, you get closer and closer to the ground
  373. >you know you are in no danger, the speed at which you are falling is slow enough that at most you would twist your ankle if you landed wrong
  374. >But rainbow cunt doesn't know this, all she knows is the last time you fell off of your roof you were out cold for a almost two days, she knows falling this far would kill you
  375. "Clocks ticking"
  376. >she grabs ahold of you one last time and yells into your ears
  377. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND THE THOUGHT OF YOU WITH ANYPONY ELSE IS A NIGHTMARE"
  378.
  379. >happy with your answer, you let her carry you back up to her cloud
  380. >she sits you down on a cloud and collapses next to you
  381. >sitting on the edge, you look over and see tears running down her face
  382. >you stand up and grab your shirt off of the cloud, you look inside
  383. >cyan fur and feathers covering the inside
  384. "I wear it when i go to sleep, it reminds me of you"
  385. >you look over at the pony lying in a huddled mess of tears
  386. "Why didn't you tell me? Why did you go through the trouble of telling your friends i was a dumb animal who wasn't worth their time?"
  387. >she covers her eyes with her hooves
  388. "So what, you were making sure none of them would be interested in me so you had no competition?"
  389. >she continues hiding behind her hooves
  390. "Why couldn't you just tell me how you felt?"
  391. >at this she looks up, wiping tears from her eyes
  392. "because you only saw me as a friend...i thought that if you were alone you would warm up to me, and eventually we could be together"
  393. >not surprising, the fact that the other ponies seemed surprised that you were insulted when you heard them talking about you was a big hint.
  394. >they had no idea who you were other than what rainbow had told them, as far as they knew you loved being treated like an animal
  395. "That is maybe one of the worst excuses i have ever heard in my entire life, rainbow."
  396. >she looked utterly destroyed
  397. "Its going to take a long time to fix this, you know."
  398. >she perks up slightly, staring at you intently
  399. "Do you mind going inside and grabbing me a bite to eat? I haven't eaten all day"
  400. >in a flash she is up and inside her house
  401. >you look around and think to yourself
  402. >"You figured it out, what a smart cookie! you deserve a reward!"
  403. >and with that, you slid yourself off of the cloud and enjoyed the fall
