>The fire crackles away calmly in the fireplace, bringing light to the dark interior of Golden Oak Library
>It’s rapidly approaching midnight in Ponyville
>A blizzard is raging outside, but luckily, you and Twilight are curled up next to each other indoors
>Both of you are sitting next to one another underneath a luxuriously comfortable blanket
>The two of you are just staring in bliss at the fireplace, watching the flames grow and recede
>You’re holding a piping hot cup of cocoa in your hands
>You were never a cocoa kind of person, but it’s grown on you since your arrival in Equestria
“Twilight… this is wonderful.”   
>The lavender mare turns to you and smiles in response
>”Agreed.” She says. “It’s not too often I feel this at peace, but having you here just makes me feel so…”
“Tranquil?”
>”Yeah…”
>You run her hand graciously through her lavish purple mane
>Her horn begins shooting off a multitude of small, lavender sparks
>She obviously approves of the petting
>”Thank you, Anon.” she says gently
“Anytime, Twily”
>She giggles at the nickname and continues to gaze at the fire
>You put the cocoa down beside you and bring your newly freed hand up to her chin
>Slowly and lightly, you begin scratching
>Her soft, delicate fur feels amazing against the tips of your fingers
>”Oh…” she says
>You stop scratching, afraid that you’ve invaded her personal space without warning
>”No… please… don’t stop…” she softly begs
>You happily oblige and continue gently scratching the underside of her chin
>This goes on for another two minutes, with Twilight enjoying every second of it
>Eventually, she lies down, places her head onto your lap and looks up at you
>”Thank you, Anon. I’ve had a wonderful time.”
>You bend down to her and kiss her lightly on the forehead
“You’re welcome, Twilight. We should do this more often.”
>The unicorn looks up at you with large eyes and a huge smile
>”Yeah. We should.”
