>Rainbow comes out of the bathroom with her usual appearance.
>"Alright Anon, you ready for a go?"
"Yep, just waiting on you Dash. We going to the fields next to AJ's right?
>"That's right, we should get going now."
>Its about noon, If you want to get back home before it dusk you should leave now.
>Both of you exit the house and start down the path to the apple farm.
>" Hey Anon want to make this interesting?"
>You can see where this is going from a mile away.
>"How 'bout we race there!? Loser has to do anything the winner says!"
"Rainbow why d-"
>"Readysetgo!!"
>She takes off in a flash not letting you argue.
>At least she's making this a foot race.
>But you're not planning to make this easy for her.
>Sprinting off, you slowly start making ground on her.
>Rainbow isn't even fazed while you're starting to sweat profusely.
>Sweet Apple Acres is coming into view.
>It's time it pick it up Anon.
>As Dash gets over the hill into the final stretch she looks behind her to see where you're at.
>What she didn't expect was for you to rush past her.
>Screaming like a mad man all the while.
>All the muscles in your body were working like a well oiled machine.
>Lengthening your strides and getting you closer to the finish line at the farm entrance.
>Every muscle in your legs was screaming for you to stop.
>There wasn't a chance in hell you were about to though.
>You were gonna beat Dash.
>And nothing was going to stop you.
>Guess her competitiveness rubbed off on you a bit.
>Rainbow wasnt going to make this easy though.
>In mere seconds you two were head-to-head nearing the end.
>50 Meters now.
"Im...*hah*...going to..*hah*...win this Dash!"
>You say breathlessly
"The hay you are Anon!"
>30 Meters.
>Picking up more speed she gets a slight lead.
>20 Meters! Step it up.
"Fuck this shit!"
>With an unknown burst of speed, you start cruising past her.
>By this point you can't feel your legs. You just know that they're pumping.

>You're going to win Anon!
>You're gonna rub this in her face forever.

>Tripping on a rock on the road, you fall flat on your face and skid.
>Rainbow passes by you less than a second later.

>This kind of shit only happen in cartoons.
>Looking up you see Dash celebrating her ass off at the gates.
"Good race Dash, guess I owe ya a favor now.."
>Flying she pats your back.
>"Ah cheer up Anon, ya almost had me there for like a second."
>You sigh.
>"You weren't really expecting to beat the most athletic pony in all of Equestria, were you? You're setting yourself up for failure Anon."
>And now shes teasing the hell out of you too.
>Damn it.
"Well at least you don't have to warm up now, let's head up to your spot."
>"Sure, let's go."
>Heading off the path, you start walking up the small hill with a single apple tree on top.
>Rainbow decided to wrap her arms around your neck while flying behind you.
>It kinda looks like a you're giving her a piggy back ride.
>But you font mind, it's not like she's putting any weight on you.
>The extra affection is nice too.
>Reaching the top she plops herself on the ground and gives her wings a few experimental flaps.
>"You ready for a show big guy?"
>Taking your usual spot under the tree's shade, you sit down.
"A show from you Dash? Though I believe I already got one today I don't mind another."
>With a smirk she flies off into the sky.
>Rainbow performs an amazing amount of tricks over the course of a few hours.
>She comes down a few times to rest and talk to you about her tricks and their complexity.
>The afternoon creeps by slowly on the hill for you two.
>It was nice, spending time alone with her.
>Sure she got a tad bit competitive and stubborn sometimes, but she was a sweet girl deep down.
 
 
>Not many people got to see that side of her.
>You were one of the lucky ones.
>Finally she seems to have had enough for the day and flies down to the ground.
>You pat the spot next to you.
>Taking the hint she plops herself down where you pointed.
"That was awesome Dash, all of it. You were amazing!"
>Putting her head on your lap she closes her eyes and sighs contently.
>"Thank you Anon, I put a little more into it today. I'm glad you liked it."
>You start putting your hands through her mane and scratching behind her ears.
>She loves when you do this.
>"Ahh that's the spot~"
>Actually all ponies like this for some reason.
>Rainbow even starts kicking her leg out a bit.
>Its a pretty cute sight.
>You wish you had a camera on you right now, its a shame.
>Soon enough you start hearing small snores coming from the blue pegasus.
"Damn....I dont want to wake her up"
>You whisper.

>Well you are pretty tired from the race, you might as well catch some Zs since it's nice out.
>Slowly and carefully picking up Dash, you place her on your lap hugging her slightly.
>She mumbles a bit but stays asleep.
>After a bit your eyelids start to drop.
>Her natural body heat was aiding your drowsiness take over you.
>From the hill you can see all of Ponyville and Canterlot off in the distance.
> And the soft, cool breeze coming through is having a lulling effect on you.
>Giving her a small peck on her forehead you start to drift off.
"This is.......perfect.."
>You mutter to no one as sleep takes you.
