I am running errands for Rarity > "that's awful nice of you Anon" Yes, and what are you doing today? > "oh nothing, just being my usual self!" > I exit > next, buy some flowers > approach flower vendor half a dozen roses please > she is startled > "wha-what are you?" I am a human, now my flowers > "oh, yes yes, here" > I take my flowers > day proceeds with little excitement > I return and deliver my completed tasks to rarity > I receive a slight recompense > "thanks, Anon" of course > Evening is beginning > The night sky visits once more > she brings with her a chariot drawn by bat-horses > I marvel at the machine for a moment > "Hello again anon" Greetings....Luna > "What of your day?" I did little, I helped my next door liver complete some tasks > A loud crash is heard in town > I immediately take the chariot > the night sky follows on her wings > flying in the chariot > I feel as Ra > A large snake is attacking the town > ponies below flee in fear > several ponies try to fight > all are quickly vanquished > I feel the Ankh on my chest pulsate with heka > The gods are on my side > A bow appears in my hands > I draw, and an arrow of Isis follows > I fire, hitting the snake in the mid body > disturbed by the arrow, the snake draws its attention to me > I fire another arrow, which penetrates into his cheek > The snake breathes a stream of dark magic > This snake is Apep, god of darkness > The dark magic disturbs the chariot, but does not harm anything > The night sky attacks > Apep strikes at the night sky > the night sky falls > I swing the chariot, and catch her > I quickly lay her safe on the ground > I return to the air, the bat-horses drawing the chariot now on fire > The chariot is now the Chariot of Ra > truly, I am a chosen being > I fire another arrow, piercing the eye of Apep > Apep cries tears of blood as he retaliates > he strikes at the chariot, knocking it to the left > I nearly stumble out of the chariot > I launch another arrow, but to little effect > Apep strikes > I fall from the chariot > I approach the ground, certain it is my end > I am caught > the night sky awoke, and has saved me > my ankh once more pulsates with heka > an ax, the markings read of Anhur > I charge, with the power of the war god on my side > I reach Apep's tail > he flails violently as I hack > I am flung from him as he screams in anguish > several shadows leap onto Apep > the shadows resemble jackals Anubites? > I regain myself and climb once more onto Apep > I scramble up the length of the massive god > I reach his head > I cleave into the bridge between the eyes > Apep bellows a mighty roar > the Anubites continue to attack > I slash into Apep's remaining eye > "Anon, you have blinded me!" > The snake rolls > I dive, nearly being crushed by the monster > I find myself once more on Apep > I drive the ax one final time > It digs into Apep's skull > Apep lets out a final roar, before falling himself onto the ground > The ax vanishes, as do the anubites > The wounds pour forth darkness > I collapse as the darkness reaches my nose > I arise next morning > at breakfast > I issue a dedication to the gods for protecting me, and assuring my victory over the demon > I enter the town, to see the damage caused > the center of town was hurt the largest > Some ponies cheer me > others fear the power the gods bestowed on me > I am told to address the people on the town meeting platform People of ponyville, fear not. I have no intentions of harm to you. Your most benevolent leader spared me from certain demise, and I seek to protect her and her people. The gods bestowed upon me great power in assuring I accomplish my duties in protection, but I am a mere mortal, and cannot permanently remain powerful as the gods. I have yet, no more power. So fear not, for I cannot, and will not, harm you. > Thunderous cheers from the ponies > I am now a local hero > This pharaoh doesn't banish me > I spend the day enjoying the company of the Twilight > "Anon, how did you receive those powers?" it was heka, the magic of the gods, and of man. > "why can you not always use this heka?" man cannot be as powerful as the gods, lest they, in their flawed nature, challenge the gods themselves > "will you ever be able to access this heka again?" I know not the ways of the gods, I can only pray that I will have their support when I need it > I asked her of heka in ponies > ponies always have heka, but not as powerful as the pharaoh's > I return in the evening, and the night sky joins me in slumber
