  1. >You were sat in front of the fire, clacking away at your laptop. You knew that you could be moving around and actually cleaning the place, but you had no need.
  2.
  3. >You had a maid for that, after all.
  4.
  5. >She was a cute little thing, with bright red hair and a milky-white color to her skin. Her large purple frames
  6. that rested on the bridge of her nose.
  7.
  8. >She always moved with a jump, and she had a lisp that made some of her words sound funny. You didn’t mind it at all: It actually was sorta cute.
  9.
  10. >She hadn’t been doing this long, though. She was a bit awkward cleaning, with her small frame constantly making things like handling a broom or reaching high spots on something. She constantly bumped into something and seemed to panic a lot.
  11.
  12. >Well, she was cleaning up the place so you didn’t have to. That was good enough, right?
  13.
  14. >You swore she either stopped working for a bit or she went outside or something, though.
  15.
  16. >You haven’t heard a thing since she said she was gonna finish up and take out the trash.
  17.
  18. >You check the weather and react audibly.
  19.
  20. “Holy shit, it’s in the negatives? She can’t be out there for THAT long.” You reason, setting the laptop down and standing up, stretching.
  21.
  22. >She’s wearing nothing but a sweater and her maid outfit. Like hell she’d be out there in this weather.
  23.
  24. >You look out the windows and see a black bag in the middle of the yard. The hell…?
  25.
  26. >You speed quickens as you walk through the hallway in your house, looking out each window.
  27.
  28. >You could be over-reacting, but a woman like her out in the bitter cold doesn’t sit right with you.
  29.
  30. >You get to the dining room and you look out the window.
  31.
  32. >What you see on the side of the house makes you shout.
  33.
  34. “Oh SHIT.”
  35.
  36. >It’s your maid. She’s lying on her side, with a ladder next to her. She’s not moving at all.
  37.
  38. >You curse, rushing to the kitchen and out the door. You nearly knock something over as you fling open the door and-
  39.
  40. >FUCK THIS WAS A BAD IDEA.
  41.
  42. >You were wearing a t-shirt and jeans. This weather shut the idea of going outside down completely. But you had to now.
  43.
  44. >You rush over to her and quickly attempt to scoop her up. You fail and you flop into the snow next to the ladder.
  45.
  46. >Wait, whose ladder is this? You have one in the basement. The hell-
  47.
  48. >The wind blows and you yelp like a bitch. The elements are not playing with you. You stumble to your feet and try again.
  49.
  50. >You wrap your arms around her and quickly scamper back into the house, kicking the door closed.
  51.
  52. >You quickly stumble into the living room and cradle her in front of the fire. What the hell happened?
  53.
  54. >She was near a ladder that wasn’t even yours! What happened out there?
  55.
  56. >You inspect her the best you can with some of the feeling dulled by the cold. You part some of her hair and see a black mark. It looks like a bruise. It was new, too: She didn’t have that when she came in.
  57.
  58. >Her pale skin is red and cold in some places. You hope that she’s not frostbitten, but you can’t be sure HOW long she was lying there.
  59.
  60. >You begin to worry. What if she’s dying or worse- What if she’s dead?
  61.
  62. >You rock her gently, feeling for a pulse and pressing against her to warm her up.
  63.
  64. “Hey. HEY! Can you hear me!? Are you okay?!” You ask, panicking.
  65.
  66. >What would happen if you called the authorities now? Would they detain you?
  67.
  68. >Would they believe you when you said you had NO clue what happened? Oh man, oh man…
  69.
  70. >You begin to breathe heavily as you reach for your cellphone in your pocket. You cringe as it’s damp from falling outside.
  71.
  72. “…What the hell happened? Why were you just lying out there…?” You ask, dialing 911 and readying to press the call button.
  73.
  74. >You get a response that makes you drop the phone.
  75.
  76. “Jutht… Jutht making… Shnow angels…” She whispers, her breathing light, almost as if she wasn’t breathing at all.
  77.
  78. >You immediately pull her closer and try to warm her up, and get her back to normal.
  79.
  80. “What happened? Ugh, forget it. You need to get warm now.” You reason, and you scoop her up and whisk her away to your bedroom.
  81.
  82. “T-thir… I c-can’t…feel much, T-T-Thir…” She whimpers, trying to move her hands to hold onto you.
  83.
  84. >You open the door and immediately place her in the bed, tossing three covers over her and wrapping them over her tightly. You can’t think of anything else to do, but keep her aware.
  85.
  86. “Hey. How do you feel? Are you hurt anywhere else, besides your head?”
  87.
  88. >She shakes her head, but winces when you point out the bruise on her head.
  89.
  90. “…G-got it… When I-I puthed th-the ladder...” She mumbles with a bit more strength.
  91.
  92. “What do you mean, when you pushed the ladder?”
  93.
  94. “I-I… was taking out…t-trath… Some g-g-guy was… trying to climb i-i-in…”
  95.
  96. >It clicks together.
  97.
  98. ”He attacked you?” You ask, hatred and shock in your voice.
  99.
  100. “Y-yeth... I-I puthed th-the ladder… and h-h-he fell… in th-the snow. He… g-g-got up and… ran at m-m-me…”
  101.
  102. >You hug her, through all the covers and hold back tears.
  103.
  104. “I’m so sorry this happened to you… I swear, I’ll find him and make sure he gets what he deserves.”
  105. “I-I-I d-d-d-dunno what he lookth like…” She squeaks.
  106.
  107. >You could’ve been fucking robbed for everything, and this woman put herself in danger to keep you safe. You don’t give a fuck if he had no face at all.
  108.
  109. >He was getting his ass handed to him.
  110.
  111. “I’ll go and –“
  112.
  113. >She reaches out for your neck, and you’re shocked by how cold she is.
  114.
  115. “W-wait! D-don’t go! Th-Thay here with me…” She pleads, her body shaking still under the heavy comforters you piled onto her.
  116.
  117. >You pause, thinking. Go get the phone and call the police, or warm her up and keep her feeling alright?
  118.
  119. “Um… Damn, you want me to climb under there and help warm you up?” You say, and then wince at how it sounded.
  120.
  121. >She stares at you like you’re the one speaking funny, her eyes half-lidded and sleepy.
  122.
  123. >Smooth, Anon. Smooth.
  124.
  125. “I’ll…I’ll just go get m-“
  126.
  127. “Yeth, pleaaathe.” She answers, her voice barely above a whisper.
  128.
  129. >You stare at her for a second, but then lift the covers up and slowly slide yourself under them. You flinch as
  130. you feel ice-cold fingers on your back and her body shivering.
  131.
  132. >You look down and notice a few things about her: One, she’s pretty cute and has freckles on her, Two, she’s missing her glasses that you saw her wear, and three, She’s cuddled up to you despite you not having much interaction besides the normal stuff.
  133.
  134. >You sigh and wrap your arms around her small little body, and breathed deeply. You can’t believe this at all, but hey… At least she was alive and you both were safe.
  135.
  136. >You could feel yourself getting drowsy as she shivered against you. You weren’t sure where to go from here, but you couldn’t help dozing off here…
  137.
  138.
  139. >You wake up and immediately look down.
  140.
  141. >She’s missing. The hell did she go?
  142.
  143. “Miss? Miss…?” You yell out, and you suddenly see a lump in the covers move.
  144.
  145. >You lift the covers up and see that she’s slid down a bit, but still asleep. Okay, that’s good.
  146.
  147. >You take this time to try and slide out of bed without waking her up.
  148.
  149. >You misjudge, however, the space you have to move back and fall to the floor.
  150.
  151. “Fuck!” You yelp as you hit the floor pretty hard.
  152.
  153. >The noise shakes her awake, and she crawls to the edge of the bed to peer at you.
  154.
  155. >You look up into her light lavender eyes and curse yourself in your mind.
  156.
  157. “Shit… Sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you up. I was just gonna get my phone and do some other things.” You explain, standing up and stretching.
  158.
  159. >She sheepishly nods at you and sighs.
  160.
  161. “I’m tho damp…” She says, motioning to her maid outfit as she rises in the bed.
  162.
  163. “You can change into some of my clothes, if you want. You’re not gonna go anywhere until this weather gets better
  164. and this all gets cleared up, you hear?”
  165.
  166. >You don’t wait for a response to that, and you walk out of your bedroom to the living room.
  167.
  168. >You snatch up your phone and sit on the couch.
  169.
  170. >You call the police and calmly explain the incident to them.
  171.
  172. >You panic at some points, since you’re recalling it from what you gathered, and they ask if you did anything to her. You respond with “medical attention”, but that’s about it.
  173.
  174. >You’re surprised to learn they caught the guy a few neighborhoods over, and that they wanted to thank whoever gave him a mild concussion.
  175.
  176. >You nod and hand up after reporting it to them. You sigh and wished they allowed you to get your hands on him for a couple of minutes.
  177.
  178. >Oh well. You get up and pocket your phone, wandering into the kitchen and making something simple to eat. You eat
  179. a sandwich in the kitchen, thinking about your company.
  180.
  181. >You never had many people stay over, and this was fairly new.
  182.
  183. >Maybe you should bring her one to the room. She’s probably hungry by now.
  184.
  185. >You march along with an exact copy of the sandwich you made for yourself, wondering if she’s okay.
  186.
  187. >You stop and knock on the door, it feeling awkward to just walk in knowing that she could be nude.
  188.
  189. >In your room.
  190.
  191. >Where you sleep and “take care” of yourself.
  192.
  193. >You hear a “come in!” from beyond the door and you open it.
  194.
  195. >You open the door and you see her sitting on the bed, looking away from the door. She’s wearing one of your shirts, but it’s WAY too big for her.
  196.
  197. >You begin to chuckle as she looks embarrassed, wearing your smallest shirt like a small dress.
  198.
  199. “Thtop that! I couldn’t fit in anything elthe!” She squeaks, embarrassed.
  200.
  201. >You try to, but you keep snickering, holding out the plate.
  202.
  203. >She sticks her hand up and frowns, obviously not in the mood.
  204.
  205. >You set it down on the dresser and stuff her back under the covers playfully, looking for the outfit she took off. You find it at the foot of the bed and you scoop it up, ready to take it to the dryer when you notice something else.
  206.
  207. >A pair of panties, a bit damp, but wetter in one spot. What was she doing while you were moving around…?
  208.
  209. >You look up at her and she’s peeking at you with a crimson blush on her cheeks.
  210.
  211. “You’re not wearing any-“
  212.
  213. “No…”
  214.
  215. “So you’re just wearing my-“
  216.
  217. “Yeth.”
  218.
  219. >You stare at her and then you calmly stand up and leave her clothes there. She looks away and scoots to the edge
  220. of the bed, ready to hop off of and claim her undies.
  221.
  222. “…Were…Were you…?” You begin, but she hops off the bed and instead wraps her arms around your stomach, burying her face in your chest.
  223.
  224. “I…I couldn’t help it. I wath… needy.” She mutters, shifting to one leg and then the other. “I thill… I thill am…”
  225.
  226. >You can’t believe this… She’s admitting to you that she’s horny right now and that you caught her red handed, yet you just can’t take it seriously. The way she’s going about it is too damn adorable.
  227.
  228. >you scoop her up and sit on the bed with her in your lap, chuckling.
  229.
  230. “You’re feeling warm now, huh? Good…Good.” You joke, rubbing her back softly.
  231.
  232. “I guetth. Can we… cuddle a bit more?” She asks, looking so embarrassed to even try to look up into your eyes.
  233.
  234. “Sure. Just relax a bit, and we can ride the storm out together.” You state, throwing the covers over you both and relaxing.
  235.
  236.
  237.
  238. >Though, you secretly hope that the winter storm rages on for just a bit longer…
