  1. Setting:  Edge of whitetail wood, and deep whitetail wood.  Also, Twilight's house (brief).  Will take place noon-evening
  2.
  3. Summary:  While Fluttershy is helping the animals right outside of whitetail, she spots a young colt (TB) She asks him who he is and how he got out there.  He says his name is Treebark and that he is with his family (who he also says moves around a lot). Treebark then drags Fluttershy back to his 'herd' of deer.  After asking her to come back with him.  Meanwhile Twilight is waiting outside her house as Applejack walks by.  Applejack asks why she is standing there and Twilight replies that Fluttershy was supposed to meet her there after she was done at whitetail, and that she is a bit worried that she isn't back yet.  Applejack and Twilight agree to go look for her.  Twilight and Applejack find her in whitetail with Treebark's 'herd'.  Twilight and Applejack seem confused at the fact that TB is a pony living among the deer (and the fact that he calls Redwood and Mapleleaf his parents).  Twilight and Applejack eventually confront Redwood and Mapleleaf about this and they tell them something along the lines of "Even though we aren't his biological parents, we love him as if he is our own son." (They had found him as a young foal, abandoned).  Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy write a letter to Princess Celestia and all that jazz.

  5. Intro:  The scene pans and you see 'the beauty of equestrian nature'  similar to how the whole "So Many Wonders" Scene played out.  You see butterflies flutter across the screen, some woodland creatures scurrying about in a grassy field.  Some squirrels in a lone tree right next to whitetail.  All the while the customary 'mlp fim intro-to-the-episode' jingle is played.
  6.
  7. Act I:  The scene then stops it's pan on Fluttershy, who is right at the edge of whitetail.  Fluttershy is in the middle of Helping the animals there.  As she is finishing up, she hears a rumbling (similar to an average stampede sound).  Fluttershy cowers behind the bushes in front of her as she hears them coming closer.  She then peeks her head up to see a herd of deer running right passed her not a yard or two in front of her.  Then one of the 'deer' (TB) spots her and after running out of sight to Fluttershy's right, he backs up back into her view. Fluttershy slowly but fully emerges herself from behind the bush, while TB continues to stare at her, head cocked.  She tries talking to him but he doesn't answer, he just starts to back away slowly (it's not that he doesn't talk because he is a 'deer' but because he is scared/shy, deer are hooved animals so I believe they should be able to talk).  Fluttershy introduces herself starts to talk with him, she asks him if he is okay and what he was doing out there.  He replies that his name is Treebark, and that he and his parents never really stay in one place, that they usually just wander.  He then asks Fluttershy to come with him back to meet the rest of his 'herd' (not sure what he is gonna call it).  Fluttershy isn't sure at first, but Treebark 'drags' her there.

  9. Act II:  Twilight is standing outside her house when Applejack comes by, pulling a cart full apples.  Applejack asks her if something is up and why she is standing outside her house.  She replies that Fluttershy was supposed to meet her here after she was done at whitetail wood.  She said that she was supposed to be there about ten minutes ago, and that she is getting worried.  Applejack and Twilight decide to go look for her after Applejack drops the apples off back at the farm.  Twilight and Applejack go to whitetail wood to look for Fluttershy, they eventually find her with Treebark, his parents, and the rest of the deer 'herd'.  Fluttershy introduces Treebark and his parents to Twilight and Applejack as "Treebark and his parents, Redwood and Mapleleaf".  Twilight and Applejack look at each other confusedly, noticing that Treebark is not a deer, but instead, a young colt with sticks on his head (Fluttershy already knows this but is not bothered by it, she assumes that Treebark grew up with those parents, so to him they are like is 'real parents'.  But Twilight and Applejack think he should be with other ponies as opposed to deer.).  Twilight and Applejack eventually confront Redwood and Mapleleaf about this.  They say that they know that Treebark isn't a deer, and that they found him as a foal, and raised him from then on as their own.  And they explain to Twilight and Applejack about how they love him as if he was their own son.

  11. Act III:  As it was said in the greentext this would be a 'home is where the heart is moral'.  But more pertaining to Treebark and his adopted parents, and besides their differences they love each other all the same....Yea, that kinda shit.  Most things at this part will be a normal end to the episode.  Twilight, Fluttershy, and Applejack writing a letter to Princess Celestia.  And the fact that Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy remain friends with Treebark an his parents.  And maybe the last scene could be Fluttershy visiting Treebark at the same edge of the whitetail wood.

  13. Characters:
  14.
  15. Fluttershy - Completely OK with the fact that Treebark is a pony living with deer parents.  She feels that if they raised him, they ARE his parents.
  16.
  17. Twilight - A bit skeptical over the fact that Treebark is a pony living with deer, and thinks that he would be better off living with other ponies.  But she isn't COMPLETELY against the fact that he is living with 'deer parents'.
  18.
  19. Applejack - Very skeptical over the fact that Treebark is a pony living with deer.  Thinks that Treebark should move back to Ponyville with the rest of them.
  20.
  21. Treebark - Very friendly and curious.  More so shy at first, but becomes more friendly when he becomes comfortable with someone new.
  22.
  23. Redwood - Friendly but doesn't fully trust other  ponies.
  24.
  25. Mapleleaf - The same 'motherly friendliness' seen elsewhere
  26.
