ACT V: RECOVERY

 

>It’s been about a week since your first encounter with the dark humanoid creature Celestia brought you here for.

>The last thing you remembered was being carried to the hospital before blacking out.. Again.

>In your mind you are fully aware of what happened but your body doesn’t seem to be responding.

>Well fuck, you just might be in a coma..

>or worse..

>You stand in the dark void that is your mind.

>Standing there you yell out for your friends but nobody answers back.

>You’re alone.

“Fuck.. Am I dead? I can’t be.. No.. I’m just Subconsciously awake that’s all.. Right?”

>Panic starts setting in as you sit there alone in the darkness.

>Suddenly you start to hear voices.. Familiar voices and their coming from all around you.

“HELLOOOOOOOOO?! Anybody there?”

>Nothing.

>Great, you sitting here calling out to voices that can’t even hear you.

“Fuck..”

>Suddenly..

>You start to hear ragged breathing coming from behind you.

>Upon turning you see the piece of shit that you managed to fend off.. For now.

>???: “Hello Anonymous… hehehehehe.”

>This nigger sounds like Ganondorf when he laughs..

>Creepy.

>And like that your eyes shoot open.

>Taking inventory of your surroundings you see that you’re in fact in a makeshift hospital bed.

>You look off to the side to see your friends out in the hallway talking to each other.

>Looking to the other side of your bed, you noticed that Twilight is here with you bandaged up and sleeping soundly.

>D’awwww she’s cute when she’s sleeping.

>Looking back up to the ceiling you sigh.. At least Twilight is ok.. But what happened prior to your blackout?

>Just even thinking about it makes your head start to pound.

>Cupping your head with your hands, you start to hear hooves coming towards you.

>R: “Anon, Dear! You’re finally awake!”

>FS: “H-how are you feeling Anon?”

>RD: “Anon you were amazing!”

>AJ: “Ya did good Anon.”

>PP: “YAY! Your awake! That means we can throw you another party!”

>Bombarded with the clusterfuck of greetings you put your hand up in a stopping signal.

“Ladies, ladies.. Just a moment please.”

>Examining yourself.

>You see that you’re pretty much bandaged from head to toe.

“How long was I out for?”

>AJ: “You were out fer ‘bout a week there Anon.”

>Ok that’s a good starting point, at least you weren’t out for like 4 years or something.

“Alright.. So whose going to tell me what happened at the party? I really don’t remember anything other than being carried to this hospital.”

>Rainbow chimes in.

>RD: “Well Anon, we all went outside to investigate that noise you heard and well, you saw Twilight hurt and you kinda went ballistic.”

>That kinda sums it up.. Somewhat.

“Details Rainbow, I need details.”

>RD: “Well you see, you we-” she’s interrupted by Twilight.

>TS: “All I know is that he saved my life, and probably all of yours too.”

>Everyp0ny in the room shifts their attention to her.

“Twi! Your awake! If I could move I’d give you a hug right now, how are you feeling?”

>TS: “I’ve been better, it’s you I’m worried about.”

“So do you know what happened? I doubt it because the you went unconscious once you pointed out that.. Thing.”

>TS: “Well yes, I came to for a little bit after you started fighting that creature, it seems that you unlocked a power deep inside that triggered when you saw me hurt.”

>You just stare at her, blinking.

“But what did I do, exactly?”

>TS: “Well.. You see earlier that day.. That letter from Celestia, it mentioned a locked away power that you have, but only YOU could release it when the time was right and seeing that I was in trouble, also the sake of everyp0ny else was in danger, you unlocked that power and became a true Knight of Celestia!”

“Interesting.. Well whatever that power was it sure did do a large number on my body, is there any way that I could control it? Also.. Why didn’t you tell me about the details of that letter?”

>Twilight just smiles softly.

>TS: “I didn’t want you to worry yourself Anon, I didn’t think that such a problem would arise the same day I got that letter.”

“But they did and I saved.. Well everyp0ny there.” you’re deep in thought.

>Twilight speaks.

>TS: “I’m sure there is a way to control that power to your will, But first, I’ll have to send a letter to Princess Celestia and tell her of how heroic you were.”

>That goddamn blush is starting to return to your cheeks.

“Well.. I don’t know about all that..”

>R: “Anon, deary.. You saved everyp0ny at that party, if it wasn’t for you.. Well I don’t know what would have happened!”

“Heh.. Thanks Rarity.” rubbing your hand behind your head.

>Now.. If you could just get the fuck out of here..

>You hate hospitals.

>The smell of disinfectants and latex gloves always gives you headaches.

“So.. When can I leave this place? I think I’m more than capable.”

>You position yourself over to the side of the bed and kick your legs out as if you were going to stand.

>As you attempt to stand up on your legs..

>*WHACK*

>Face first into the floor.

“…ow…” was all you managed to get out.

>Goddamn that fucking smarts.

>Rainbow Dash can’t help but laugh… bitch.

>FS: “Um.. A-anon are you o-okay?” shy says as she pokes you with her hoof.

>You surprisingly manage to sit up.

>Rubbing your head you speak.

“ow.. Yeah I’m fine Fluttershy, I think my legs are asleep.. I was laying in a hospital bed for over a week.”

>After 20 minutes of hitting your legs with various medical items the feeling starts to return.

>Wiggle the big toe.

“Ah.. I think I have my legs back in working order.”

>Second times the charm.

>Success! You can actually walk now.

>You turn to Twilight.

“Twi, are you able to come home? Or do you have to stay here under the doctors order?”

>TS: “I can go home anytime I want, I was just waiting for you Anon..” she blushes a little.

“Awww how cute, C’mon Twilight, let’s go home and send a letter to Celestia.”

>She blushes a little harder at the cute comment.

>You can’t help but smile.

>As you and your group of p0nes walk out of the Hospital, Nurse Red heart comes running out.

>NRH: “Anonymous! Where do you think your going Mister?!”

“Uhh.. Home?”

>NRH: “You’re in terrible condition! You need bed rest!”

“Ms. Red heart, no offence but I’ve dealt with my body being battered and bruised before, I believe I can handle it and if I can’t I’ll be sure to stop by, but thank you very much for the services you’ve already given to me, Now good day Ms. Red heart.”

>NRH: “Well.. Just please be careful, Anonymous.”

“I will, thank you.”

>With that out of the way, you set off towards home.

>You turn to the others following you.

“Hey girls, if you don’t mind I’d like to relax and do a bit of research, if that’s ok with you?”

>AJ: “ain’t no problem at all Anon.”

>FS: “It‘s o-okay, I have to feed angle anyways.”

>RD: “It’s fine Anon, go be an egghead and I’ll go take a nap.”

>Rarity nudges Dash with her hoof.

>RD: “Hey! I was kidding!”

>R: “That’s unlady like Rainbow.. Anon dear, you take all the time you need.”

>PP: “I have to go back to work, see you Anon! Bye girls!”

“Goodbye, Girls.” You and Twi wave them off.

>All your friends go their separate ways to do whatever it is that they do.

>You turn to Twilight.

“So.. Twilight.. Think there’s anything in those books of yours that might help me with my problem?”

>TS: “I’m not sure, but it won’t hurt to look!”

>You both make your way into the cozy tree home.

>Upon entering you see little bro Spike passed out in a pile of books.

>Walking over to him, you nudge him with your foot.

“Aye Spike! Wake up!”

>S: “GAH! Huh wuzzat? Oh uh hi Anon, you look like you’ve been through tartarus and back.” still rubbing his eyes.

“Yeah, I supposed you could say that, anyways where were you at the party?”

>TS: “He fell asleep as soon as the party started.”

“I see..” you shrug.

>Spike drags his feet up the stairs and goes back to sleep.

>You walk over to the many books lined on the shelves.

“So where should I start looking?”

>TS: “Hmm.. I’m not sure, here let me help you.”

>An hour passes and you still turn up nothing on your problem.

>It would help if you had some damn information, you don’t want that happening again, at least without you controlling it.

*sigh* “I don’t see anything Twilight, maybe Celestia has some information?”

>TS: “It wouldn’t hurt to ask, I’ll write a letter about what happened and ask for any possible information that might help you control your power.”

“Thanks Twi, you’re the best.” you give her a bear hug.

>TS: “Okay, Okay! Hahaha put me down!”

“Alright hahaha, say Twilight.. Let’s have spike take a break and get some rest.”

>TS: “Well what are we going to do then? We don’t have any books on your issue and there isn’t anything on my schedule today.”

“Let’s just sit back and relax, I’ll go grab my things and we’ll watch a movie.. Sound good?”

>TS: “Hmm.. A movie from your world? I suppose that would be something.. Alright! I’m in!”

“Alright Twi, I’ll be right back.”

>You quietly make your way upstairs past spike, into the guest room and grab your things.

>Being the fucking ninja that you are, you made you way back down stairs without stirring the dragons slumber.

>You plop down on the couch and Twilight takes her place next to you.

>TS: “So Anon, what are we going to watch?”

>Digging through your backpack you pull out your laptop, flip it open and turn it on.

“I haven’t decided yet, I’ll have to take a look.”

>Twi watches you ever so closely as you browse through your video library.

>TS: “That’s an interesting device Anon.. what does it do?”

“If I really sat down and explained it to you Twilight, honestly.. It would take ages.”

>She nods.

>You finally decided to watch Starship Troopers.

>This movie is the shit, plus it’d give Twilight somewhat of an idea of how things work where you come from.

>Twilight magic’s up some popcorn and you two sit down and watch the upcoming movie.

>You sit there with Twi, watching one of your favorite movies and you can’t help but laugh at one of your favorite parts.

>TS: “hehe is your human military force always like that?” she says still giggling

“Well.. Sorta haha, they just did it for entertainment purposes I think.”

>Another hour passes while you both watch the movie and you noticed that Twilight has snuggled up against you.

>Her coat is so.. Soft.

>You take your hand and begin to stoke her mane.

>She snuggles even closer to you.

>While petting her mane your hand accidentally rubs up against her horn.

>She let’s out a little moan.

“Whoa, hey are you alright Twi?”

>She looks up at you with a distinct color of red on her face.

>TS: “I-I’m fine A-anon..”

>Is.. That drool on the side of her mouth?

“Uh… are you sure? You look a little.. Flustered.” you say nervously.

>TS: “I-It’s just that.. Unicorns horns are.. Sensitive…”

“Did I hurt you?”

>You pray it’s not sensitive like that.. You couldn’t see yourself being taken advantaged of by a tiny purple unicorn.

>TS: “N-no.. you didn’t, but for your sake.. Please don’t do it again.”

>Well shit..

“Alright, I’ll be careful next time.” rubbing the back of your head.

>With that, you return to stroking her mane.

>She managed to snuggle her way onto your chest and fall asleep.

>Using your free hand you turn off your laptop and close it.

>You look down at Twilight

>You can’t help but D’aww at the sight.

>She’s really adorable when she’s all snuggly and whatnot.

>With a content sigh, you adjust yourself slowly so you don’t wake up Twilight.

>You put your head on the a pillow and decide to catch a few Z’s yourself.

>Falling asleep on the couch with a tiny unicorn laying comfortably on your chest.

>Today was a good day.
